Galen grinned, a spark of adventure lighting his eyes. "Patience, my eager huntresses. The treasures of the Titans are not so easily claimed. First, we need to locate the entrance." He sat up, brushing the snow from his dragonhide jacket. "Legend speaks of a hidden passage, concealed beneath the ice. But the ice here is incredibly thick, and simply hacking through it would take an eternity."
Alleria frowned, her gaze sweeping across the seemingly unbroken expanse of frozen water. "A hidden passage? How are we supposed to find that?"
Sylvanas, ever the pragmatist, added, "And even if we find it, how do we know it's not guarded by some formidable Titan construct?"
Galen chuckled. "Those are excellent questions. And the answers… well, that's where the fun begins." He stood up, stretching. "Remember those strange energy fluctuations we detected earlier, near the center of the lake?"
Alleria's brow furrowed in concentration. "Yes, a faint shimmering, almost invisible to the naked eye."
"Exactly," Galen confirmed. "I believe that's the residual energy signature of the hidden entrance. Titan magic often leaves such traces. It's our breadcrumb trail." He gestured towards the center of the frozen lake. "Our first task is to reach that point."
Sylvanas raised an eyebrow. "And how do you propose we do that without freezing ourselves solid?"
Galen winked. "Leave that to me." He focused his will, drawing upon the latent heat within him, a byproduct of his connection to the Light and his draconic heritage. A faint golden aura enveloped his hands. "We'll melt our way through."
With Galen leading the way, the trio ventured onto the seemingly solid expanse of Wintergrasp Lake. As they approached the center, the air grew noticeably colder, a biting wind whipping across the ice. Galen placed his glowing hands on the frozen surface, and a circle of water began to form, his controlled heat precisely melting the ice without causing a sudden, dangerous collapse. Slowly but surely, they descended through the icy shaft Galen created, the thick walls of ice shimmering with trapped air bubbles.
Finally, after what felt like a considerable descent, they reached a cavern carved into the bedrock beneath the lake. The air here was surprisingly warmer, and a faint blue glow emanated from strange crystalline formations embedded in the walls. In the center of the cavern, a swirling vortex of energy pulsed gently, the source of the shimmering they had detected above.
"This… this is incredible," Alleria breathed, her eyes wide with wonder.
Sylvanas, ever cautious, nocked an arrow, her gaze scanning the shadows. "Is it safe?"
Galen smiled. "Relatively. The main guardians are further within. This seems to be a preliminary chamber." He approached the swirling energy vortex. "I believe the entrance to the Titan facility lies beyond this." He reached out a hand towards the vortex, and as his fingers touched the shimmering energy, the air crackled, and the vortex expanded, revealing a shimmering portal of pure light.
"Well then," Galen said, a thrill of anticipation in his voice. "Shall we see what treasures the Titans have left for us?" He stepped confidently through the portal, Sylvanas and Alleria close behind. The adventure had truly begun
