Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Susanoo Appears in Konoha!

"Itachi, are you ready? Once we start, there's no turning back. I won't hold anything back."

Andrew stood beside Itachi, gazing across the rooftops toward the territory of the Shimura clan. He knew Danzo wouldn't be shaken by words or minor scuffles—only overwhelming power could make that old snake reconsider his actions.

After much deliberation, Andrew decided to borrow a tactic from the original timeline—the way Itachi used his Mangekyō Sharingan as a deterrent to protect Sasuke. But this time, it wasn't just Sasuke he had to safeguard—it was the entire Uchiha clan.

The message to Danzo and the entire Konoha leadership had to be crystal clear: attack Uchiha, and face annihilation.

"I was ready the moment I left the Daimyō's court. The clan, Sasuke—they're out of harm's way," Itachi said calmly.

He took a deep breath, and in an instant, his eyes shifted—three tomoe spinning into the Mangekyō pattern.

Andrew gave a faint nod and vanished without a sound. This had to be real. Authentic. The entire village had to believe this wasn't coordinated.

While Andrew disappeared into the rooftops, Itachi moved with silent purpose toward the Shimura district. Their timing had to be precise.

On his way, Andrew happened to run into an Anbu operative.

Apparently, the Third Hokage had summoned him. It wasn't surprising. After the Shimura clan incident and the string of arrests, the Hokage was bound to get involved.

And, frankly, the timing was perfect.

"The Third wants to see me?" Andrew raised an eyebrow.

That meant he had an airtight alibi. If anyone questioned the assault on the Shimura clan later, he could simply say he was summoned to Hokage Tower at the exact moment it happened. Third Generation himself would unknowingly verify his innocence.

So Andrew followed the Anbu casually, as though none of what was about to happen weighed on him.

Let the Shimura clan suffer a little longer.

"Andrew, I heard your department made quite a few arrests in the Shimura district today," Hiruzen Sarutobi said the moment he stepped into the office. The old Hokage's face was composed, but his tone held a hint of irritation.

"Yes, Lord Hokage. Today, one of our Uchiha police patrol teams was assigned to that area." Andrew's voice was flat. "And frankly, the behavior of the Shimura clan has become... lawless. They resisted arrest, assaulted officers—even obstructed active investigations. I believe it's time someone reminded them that they are not above the law."

Hiruzen coughed lightly. "I'll remind Danzo to reign them in. But more than forty arrests in a single day? That's a bit excessive, isn't it? Even the head of the Shimura clan came by to ask what happened."

Andrew smiled faintly. "Oh? He came here himself? He must've left just before I arrived. I would've liked to say hello."

The sarcasm wasn't lost on Hiruzen, but before either of them could speak further—

BOOM!

A thunderous shockwave echoed across Konoha, and the floor beneath them quaked.

Chakra pressure flooded the village like a tide.

Both men instantly disappeared from the room, reappearing atop the Hokage Tower. From this vantage, they saw it clearly—

A massive red humanoid figure, towering and armored, stood inside the Shimura clan's compound.

Its enormous, ethereal fist had just crashed through the roof of the central building.

From the debris below, Shimura clan members scattered in panic. Screams filled the air. Smoke spiraled upward.

The ground trembled.

The rooftops nearby cracked from the shock of each movement.

"Susanoo..." Hiruzen muttered, eyes widening.

Down below, Shimura's patriarch had just arrived home. He hadn't even taken off his sandals when the ceiling exploded.

If he hadn't rolled aside on reflex, he would have been paste under a chakra fist the size of a wagon.

"W-What is that!? That's... Uchiha! That's Itachi Uchiha inside!"

Terror gripped him. Even more than the towering red warrior, it was the cold clarity in Itachi's eyes that truly frightened him.

In a single punch, half the Shimura compound was reduced to rubble. And this was just the beginning.

Had this attack taken place at night, many would have died. But it was broad daylight—and that was the point.

Andrew's plan was never mass murder. It was a warning. A display. An unambiguous threat to Danzo, to the council, and to the village.

Let everyone in Konoha see Uchiha's power. Let them feel it. Let them fear it.

Ninjas began converging on the Shimura district. But they hesitated.

How do you fight something that massive? Something that could flatten a building with a single blow?

Even if they had the guts to try, they couldn't use large-scale jutsu in the village center. The damage would be catastrophic.

On the rooftop, Hiruzen turned to Andrew, eyes searching. Was this your doing? Did you order this?

But Andrew's expression was one of polite confusion, his brow furrowed as though he was as surprised as anyone else.

"This doesn't seem to be Uchiha's doing as a whole," he said calmly. "I'll go and speak with the attacker personally, Lord Hokage. Perhaps I can defuse the situation."

Hiruzen was silent for a beat—then nodded.

"Very well. I'll mobilize Anbu to secure the area. We must stop that thing before more damage is done."

Andrew was already gone.

······

By the time Hiruzen and Andrew arrived at the battlefield, several jōnin had tried to intervene—but none had been able to get close.

Itachi's Susanoo stood like a sentinel, guarding him while he remained eerily silent, unmoving.

He had deliberately restrained the damage—none of the chakra shockwaves had extended beyond the Shimura compound.

That alone showed control.

It also showed this wasn't a rampage. This was a message.

"Uchiha Itachi! You!? Why are you attacking the Shimura clan?"

Hiruzen's voice carried over the chaos, bewildered. He remembered Itachi as a loyal son of the village. He and Shisui had been shining examples of Uchiha cooperation with Konoha.

But now...

Itachi's calm voice echoed, amplified by Susanoo's chakra.

"Lord Hokage. You ask me why? Isn't the question itself laughable?"

"Danzo Shimura attacked our clan. He stole Shisui's eyes. He violated the very foundations of what this village claims to stand for."

"And yet, where was justice? What punishment did he receive? Nothing. Not even a reprimand. He returned the eye only after he was caught. And even then, the village looked the other way."

"So tell me—if Danzo can attack Uchiha and remain untouched, why can't I destroy a few Shimura buildings to make my point?"

His voice held no rage, no aggression. Just certainty. Cold, inescapable truth.

Hiruzen was speechless.

Andrew stepped forward slowly, just enough to be heard.

"If justice won't come from above, then we must deliver it ourselves. That's what you've taught us, Lord Hokage. Through your silence. Through your tolerance of Danzo's crimes."

"We are Uchiha. We remember. And now, so will you."

The shinobi who had gathered to support the Hokage froze.

Even they could not deny it—Danzo had gone too far, too often.

And this time, Uchiha had answered.

Not with sabotage. Not with treason.

But with Susanoo.

A towering red warrior, visible to every citizen of Konoha.

A silent, living reminder:

Uchiha is no longer asking for respect. They're demanding it.
