Chapter 37 - Memory 1: Marshall Shiroko.

Opening my eyes, I immediately noticed the unfamiliar ceiling. What made me wary, I could swear that yesterday I fell asleep hugging my wife, but now I am in an unfamiliar place, God knows where.

Getting out of bed, I looked around the room, which was quite large.

On the nightstand next to the bed was a holographic photo of me in military uniform in the center, and around me were several cat girls who were smiling. Just below were words. "This is a gift from all the girls in the squadron, we congratulate you on receiving the rank of major."

And I was also surprised by the number that was below it… 2319, April 5th.

Where the hell am I?

Having looked around, I noticed a strange transparent glass, which I immediately took in my hands, from which it immediately lit up and showed the wallpaper that is on this futuristic phone. On the wallpaper, there was some kind of ship, with the caption "Jay". I think that's the name of my ship.

Having looked at the time, it was already 6:05 on June 12, 2320.

I don't understand anything!

I immediately tried to find a browser, which I was able to find right away and went to look for information that shocked me.

About a hundred years ago, the world entered another world war, which threatened the destruction of all mankind, but in the end Russia won. Many thought that the government would oppress everyone, but this was not so. When Russia came to power, it began to restore former enemy countries and helped them develop. As a result, in the first decades after the war, power on the entire planet passed to the President of Russia, and soon she became the Empress, renaming Russia into the Russian Empire, and making the power matriarchal, and from that moment on, the only rulers of the planet were only women. Many did not like this, but after they disappeared without a trace, everyone fell silent. For the first time in many centuries, peace reigned on planet Earth. But apparently fate had other plans for humanity. About ninety years passed after the war, and a new enemy loomed on the horizon, an unknown race of aliens that appeared out of nowhere and immediately attacked the earth.

Further information shocked me even more.

The first battle was accepted by cadets of the star flight school, and I was in the center of it all.

When the aliens began their attacks, our academy was on a training flight. We didn't have time to wait for the military, so our class took the first battle, in which I commanded a temporarily formed squadron.

Why me?

Because our instructor was killed.

In the end, we were able to repel the enemy attack while being outnumbered and suffered minimal losses.

After this battle, I was awarded the Order of the Hero, and I and those who were with me were released early from the academy, since the planet needed defenders, and our first battle was an indicator that we were able to protect the earth. A special squadron was created, which was called "CatGirl", and I became its commander.

As a result, I received the rank of lieutenant at fourteen, which made me the youngest woman in history to receive the rank of lieutenant.

Later it was told that in another major battle, my starship was shot down and made an emergency landing on the enemy flagship. Which I was able to capture, and with its help destroy the rest of the enemy ships, and return with a trophy.

This event gave me the rank of captain, and many medals.

After there was another big battle over Moscow. The aliens wanted to deprive us of our ruler, so that the planet would plunge into chaos. But they did not expect that they would meet such tough resistance. As it turned out, Moscow was a citadel, and in the event of a threat of destruction or capture of Moscow, all forces from the entire planet are drawn to this city to protect it. As a result, we were able to repel the attack of the aliens, but suffered heavy losses. And as always, our squadron stood out, destroying a large number of enemies and saving allies.

After a fierce battle for Moscow, I was awarded the next rank of major. This happened about a year ago, and after that battle, the aliens continued to attack the planet, but their attacks were already sluggish, and soon they fled. Which marked a great victory for humanity over the alien invaders.

Sigh…

Is this a dream or something? A simulation, maybe? Or…

A memory…

What are the odds that I had another life or even more that I don't remember? Very high!

To be honest, when I read this news, which will most likely be recorded in history, I felt like I was in a science fiction novel.

Serika, you would have liked this. She always loved this kind of topic.

Miya:Major Shiroko, are you ready?

I saw the message, as far as I understand, Miya is my assistant, and also my deputy. According to the Internet.

Shiroko: Ready for what?

Miya: Moir, are you kidding? Today you have an audience with the Empress!

Shiroko: Clear

Miya: Just "clear"? Many would kill for such an opportunity to meet the empress!

But not me, I don't even know what's going on!

Miya: In any case, Avi will be coming for you in a few hours, so be prepared.

Shiroko: Okay.

I wrote and put the phone away.

Maybe I should just kill myself and wake up? Although to be honest, I wonder what will happen next. If this is a memory of one of my past lives, then it means that I died at some point.

And now I have a question, did I die of old age. Or from a battle with aliens.

How confusing it all is.

I got dressed and left the room, I immediately noticed the maids, but as it turned out, they were just androids. I ordered them to make breakfast, and they immediately carried out the order.

After a while, I received a notification that Avi had arrived.

I immediately left my big house, and saw how the vehicle was descending. Honestly, it reminded me of one game from a past life.

Without thinking twice, I went into the salon, which was too luxurious, there was even alcohol, but I don't think it's a good idea to drink before an audience with the empress.

When we took off, I immediately looked out the window, and instead of the expected city filled with houses, I saw few houses and a lot of greenery and trees.

Are all cities like this now?

There weren't even any cars on the streets, most likely they have been able to fly for a long time, and as far as I understood from the Internet, the Russian Empire refused to use substances that pollute the planet, since then the planet has begun to slowly recover.

To be honest, over the past hundred years, planet Earth could be called a utopia, where there are no wars, and people do not starve. Of course, if the aliens had not appeared. I could not be horrified by the number of victims who died in the war with the aliens...

55% of the planet's population.

This is a very scary figure, I don't even know by what miracle we were able to win this war. Although I don't even know if we won it…

Quite quickly we flew up to a large futuristic castle and landed not far from the gate.

Approaching the gate, I was met by two guards who saluted me.

"At ease," I said.

As a result, one of the guards went for my escort, who was a beautiful tall blonde who was an elf.

About a hundred years ago, the population of the planet began to change, children began to be born with various deviations that people do not have. These are ears like animals or elves, as well as tails and much more. Many scientists came to the conclusion that a global change occurred in the gene pool, which no one could understand why it happened.

I walked through the halls of the castle, which was even more fantastic inside, I even wanted to explore it, it's not every day that you get to such a castle, but I was able to restrain myself.

Reaching the large doors, the elf looked at me.

"The Empress, as well as the council, are waiting for you." - she said and opened the doors.

I immediately entered and paid attention to the different girls who were on either side of me.

Most likely, they were members of the council.

I did not pay attention to their whispering, although I clearly heard it. And no, it was not bad, many were discussing how sexy I was, and that my fame justified me. I could not help but blush.

Reaching the throne, on which the Empress was supposed to sit, I immediately knelt down on one knee. I do not know if I did it right, but I hope that I did it right.

"Stand up." - I heard a familiar voice, and immediately raised my head.

As soon as I saw the woman sitting on the throne, my eyes involuntarily widened…

Serika…

My Serika empress? She is so sexy.

Wait, this is just a memory. So she is not my wife yet.

I thought that after our death, we could not meet in another world, but that was not true! We just do not remember it!

"So you are the heroine who protected the planet?" she asked, getting up from the throne and walking towards me.

"It is my duty to protect the planet and its people!" I said automatically.

She came up to me almost closely, and looked me straight in the eyes without looking away.

"I expected nothing less from you!" she said smiling.

Then she looked at the council members.

"Listen up everyone! In the name of the Empress, I grant Major Shiroko the rank of Marshal of the Planet Army!" she said loudly, and no one objected to her words.

Then she looked at me.

"Will you accept this rank?" she asked.

"It is a great honor for me!" I answered again automatically.

She nodded.

"From this day on, your rank is Marshal, who obeys only my orders. Anyone who objects will lose their life!" she said in a firm voice.

Kya, how cool she is.

"And so, I give you an order! You will lead the entire fleet in a counterattack on the enemy planet. Just recently, we calculated the coordinates of the enemy planet, and therefore we must destroy them no matter what. So that in the future they will not appear with an even larger fleet," said Empress Serika.

"As you command!" I answered.

"And you won't even object that there are innocents on the planet?" she asked.

"Did they ask themselves that question when they attacked our planet and killed more than half of the population?" I answered.

"Good answer!" Serika said, who had a proud smile.

"You are free to go, you have a week to prepare for the mission that will determine the fate of humanity." The Empress said and came closer to my ear.

"Return victorious and I will reward you." She said in a sexy tone. I knew what kind of reward it would be.

Even if we don't remember each other, we are still attracted to each other.

"As you command!" I answered and Serika smiled.

Soon after that, I left the castle and returned to my home.

I couldn't help but wonder how long this memory would last, and how much time would pass for the others, maybe this was all limited to my dream, in the real world?

So many questions, but not a single answer...
