Accompanied by a fierce gust of wind, a jet fighter resembling a crouching tiger appeared above Hayato's Field. Its jet system maintaining flight even kicked up spray from the Sea Surface below.

"It's not a Warrior Type?" Anasis was a little confused. "Let me just confirm, you are the Hayato Kobayashi from before, right? Not like his twin brother or something?"
"The one and only. But I never said I only use Warrior Type Monsters, did I? Even a hero has to keep up with the times and learn to use technology." Hayato chuckled, but his actions didn't stop there. "Then I Activate the Spell Card, [Frontline Base]. Once per Turn, in addition to my Normal Summon, I can Special Summon one Union Monster from my Hand."
"After V comes W, come forth, [W-Wing Catapult]!"
The Spell Card [Frontline Base] appeared in Hayato's Spell/Trap Zone. A blue aircraft launched from its Card Art, quickly ascending to the same altitude as [V-Tiger Jet].

"A rare Union Monster, huh? So next must be..." Anasis looked up, watching [V-Tiger Jet] and [W-Wing Catapult] side-by-side.
Hayato swept his hand forward: "That's right. Union Monsters are Cards that can combine with specific Monsters. Combine and transform, V, W!"
In the sky, the two aircraft responded to their Master's Order. Their various Pieces instantly disassembled and transformed, piecing together to form a larger aircraft than before.

"He Summoned a Level 6 Monster in just one Turn, that's amazing! And since it's an aircraft, it won't be affected by [Umi]." The observing Socrates exclaimed. "But if he can't find the Monster Boss hid, even that much ATK is useless."
Go ahead and make things up. Hayato couldn't be bothered to Rant about how Anasis's Monster gained "invisibility" just because of the [Umi] Field, or how his own [VW-Tiger Catapult] being able to fly somehow made it immune to the Field's buff. Because under the current Duel Rules, Making things up was actually allowed.
However, since you've started Making things up, it should be fine if I Make things up a little too, right?
"The combination of [VW-Tiger Catapult] doesn't just enhance the machine's performance; they've also activated new functions by connecting with each other, namely Radar and Sonar!"
Hayato used the "it's not written on the Card, but it has this Effect" type of Making things up. The [VW-Tiger Catapult] on the Field actually responded to his Order, unfolding a Radar device from the tiger head section of the aircraft that began scanning the surroundings.
"Oh no, this way!" Anasis was shocked, his gaze shifting to the location of the Monster he Summoned. Almost the instant [VW-Tiger Catapult] deployed its Radar System, the Body outline of the Monster hidden beneath the Sea Surface was revealed.
"It's not over yet. I'm activating another Effect of [VW-Tiger Catapult]." Hayato sent a Card from his Hand to the Graveyard. A Card appeared behind the [VW-Tiger Catapult] on the Field, then Crushed into photons that merged into [VW-Tiger Catapult]'s Body, as if replenishing its energy.
[VW-Tiger Catapult] absorbed the Card's Power, activating all the machinery throughout its Body. In an instant, it created a massive water vortex above the Sea Surface: "I can Discard one Card from my Hand as Stakes to activate this ability. I change the Battle Position of one Monster on the Field!"
"Energy Charge! Go, [VW-Tiger Catapult]! Use Blaster Fan to sweep that Monster up!"
The water vortex immediately unleashed its Power. The Monster beneath the water surface could no longer hide itself and was brought out of the Sea Surface by the giant water vortex. It was a penguin wearing armor.
"The Monster Boss Set is [Penguin Soldier]!" Socrates immediately shouted the Monster's name.

Anasis burst into laughter: "That's right! The Monster I Set is the Warrior of the depths, [Penguin Soldier]! When it's Flipped, I can return up to two Monsters on the Field to their owner's Hand! I choose your [VW-Tiger Catapult] and my [Penguin Soldier]!"
But even though Anasis had Declared that he would Activate his Monster's Effect and specified the Effect's Targets, the [Penguin Soldier] within the giant water vortex showed no reaction. It just kept spinning with the rising water current, even starting to look a bit dizzy.
Hayato said triumphantly: "Muda da! When [VW-Tiger Catapult] uses its Effect to Flip a Monster, even if the Flipped Monster has a special Effect, it cannot be Activated!"
"Also, because the Card I sent to the Graveyard was [Ojama Magic], I can add one [Ojama Green], [Ojama Yellow], and [Ojama Black] each from my Deck to my Hand!"
Quickly Drawing three annoying guys from his Deck, Hayato Set two Cards from his Hand and waved his hand: "The obstacle in front has been completely cleared! [VW-Tiger Catapult], Attack that defenseless [Penguin Soldier]!"
[VW-Tiger Catapult] heard the Order. Multiple hatches on its tiger head and wings opened, revealing countless ready missile launchers.
"Full Barrage! Spacium Ballistic Missile!"
"Boom!"
The dense barrage instantly surrounded the [Penguin Soldier] trapped within the water vortex. The explosion's flames destroyed and annihilated it along with the towering water vortex. The overflow damage was simulated as Impact by the Virtual Projection System and applied to Anasis.

"My Turn ends here." Hayato Declared the End Turn. The [VW-Tiger Catapult] in the air also shut down the devices it had activated, returning to its Normal state.

Despite being Attacked and clearly at a disadvantage, Anasis suddenly started laughing as he looked at Hayato: "Hahahaha, you really are interesting, Hayato! You truly are worthy of being the guy who defeated that shorty who plays Insects. This is truly an exciting Duel, hahahaha!"

Looking at the Monster Card he drew, Anasis couldn't help but smile, looking proudly at Hayato: "Since you Summoned such a powerful Monster, as a courtesy, I shall also Summon my Ace Monster!"
"I Activate the Effect of [Star Blast] from my Hand. I can lower the Star Level of one Monster by paying Life Points. Each Star requires 500LP." Anasis chuckled. "I'll pay 1500LP to lower the Level of [Levia-Dragon - Daedalus] in my Hand to 4☆. Heh heh, a fair trade."

"Command the surging waves to swallow everything whole! Appear, my most beloved Duel Monster, Ruler of the Ocean!"

As Anasis called out the name "Daedalus," from Greek mythology, who built the labyrinth to trap the beast "Minotaurus," the waves on the Sea Surface became overwhelmingly turbulent. A giant dark shadow appeared beneath the water. Even before its full form was revealed, just watching the massive shadow swim in the water brought immense pressure.
