Who are you talking to? Asked Cathra. The one over there, he said looking behind the trees. Clark, there is nobody there. There is, aren't you going to show yourself?
Nothing happened, he sighed. Cathra, shoot a spell there, that a waste of mana Clark, we don't have the luxury to play around. Look around, what do you see?
She did, hyenas I see hyenas trying to tear us apart. Yes but what do you notice about them, specifically their eyes? Eyes? She looked closely at them.
They are vacant, are these things undead, are we dealing with a necromancer? Illusions, they are illusions. You not serious. I am. You telling me we have been fighting illusions all this time?
Not all of them around 11 are real however they are hidden by the illusions and only attack when we let our guard down. Those wounds on Victor are not real.
He is barely wounded, the same goes for Iron, his shield and armour don't have as many scratches as they look. So how do we deal with it?
Do as I say.WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO TALKING ABOUT? I'M FIGHTING HERE AND YOU JUST CHATTING,RELAXED. How many is he fighting? Only 1.
3 are flanking iron and the rest are circling around us. Tell Victor to stop attacking he is wasting his energy. VICTOR RETREAT. I DON'T TAKE ODERS FROM YOU, YOU BITCH YOU LISTEN TO ME.
JUST FUCKING RETREAT, he got quiet after that and tried to retreat but the hyenas stood in his way. IGNORE THEM THEY ARE ILLUSIONS. He did not listen to her.
Noel activated his heavenly eyes, all the illusory beasts disappeared. Although he could see through the illusion the others could not.
He couldn't just tell them what to do or the one casting the illusions will hear as well. He knew whatever it was it was a beast but he did not know what kind of beast it was.
It was hiding behind the trees but he knew it position, as long as they kill it there won't be an need to fight the rest. Cathra, she turned and looked him, her breath was heavy and sweat was falling from her face.
What? Shoot a spell 30 metres in that direction, he whispered to her pointing in the direction of the hidden beast. Clark I told you....trust me, please.
She relented and started casting a spell, she was whispering in what he thinks was an incantation. Normal spells did not need incantation however more powerful ones need one or a magic circle, sometimes both.
A giant ball of fire flew towards the bushes, he watched with anticipation. The explosion was as if a missile had landed there, a huge shockwave blasted the area sending the eleven hyenas flying.
Victor also lost his footing and started shouting at Cathra, he was a very patient man but Victor was really testing his limit. They were safe from the explosion and shockwave though.
He watched with anticipation, his eyes cold and devoid of any visible emotions. A tiny rabbit appeared behind the bushes, it white fur singed by the flames but it was otherwise okay, it had a half broken diamond horn on it head.
He watched it with his heavenly eyes activated, it system interface appeared before his eyes.

He was surprised, not just by the creature Infront of his eyes but by the amount of information the heavenly eyes could reveal to him now.
It gave him the description of it skills and status? It did neither of those the last time he used it or maybe it because he used it on higher ranked individuals than him, he did not know for certain.
The creature was looking at him with anger and fear, it main weapon had failed against him. He could see it tiny paws shaking even though it tried to act tough.
Did we get it? Asked Cathra. A few seconds passed without him answering her, he was looking at the rabbit, he felt no killing intent from it, this thing did not attack because it wanted to kill them, it was simply scared, it must've had a bad experience with humans.
I know what that like, he said that outloud. What? We should go. Did we get it? Yes we did. Go? We should kill these things, said Victor.
Can you do it? Asked Cathra. I'm running out of mana and so is Clark, I wonder how long you can hold without us. What if they attack? Then we fight but there is no need to keep fighting when we can just leave.
He clicked his tongue in irritation. Clark looked at it one last time as they left and as he suspected it did not send it goons to chase them.
His daughter had a rabbit just like it when she was 3, it reminded him of her, well except for the horn and magic and the fact that it could probably kick a human to death with that speed, it looked almost exactly like Elsie rabbit.
However that was not the only reason he decided they should leave it alone, unless he took action which he won't, killing it would be hard, this thing was fast and the others cannot even see through it illusions.
Dealing with it would just be a pain in the ass and he did not like that. They went to their coach and left with Victor still grumbling. The coachman was cool the entire time, it was suspicious to be honest but he did not pry.
The others were tired and fell asleep not long after they left. It was just him and the coachman still awake now. He wondered if he should kill this unknown variable but that very thought gave him goose bumps.
He sighed, whatever happens happens then he closed his eyes.
