The sun was setting as they finished their preparations for the fight against the pack of
beasts. After the preparations were complete, they all went to the village diner to wait for the beasts to arrive.
"How long do you think it will be till the beasts come" whined Witz as she laid spread out on one of the tables beside Honō.
"I'd say soon their nocturnal beasts with in around 30 in the pack and since their only C rank they won't have much source of food in the woods for that large a pack, so they for sure will come again or they'd risk starvation" stated Honō sipping another coffee as he sat at the table Witz was spread across.
"Uhhhhh would they ever hurry up this gear gets uncomfortable after a while" whinged Witz as she hit the table with her fists.
"Be patient and get off the table, people are starting to stare at us" said Honō as he finished the last sip of his coffee.
"Ok, let them stare I couldn't care less about what they think" snarled Witz as she sat up raising a dirty look to her onlookers as Honō ordered another coffee for himself.
"How much coffee have you had Honō we're nearly out of coffee beans, so take it easy ok" teased Elena as she walked over to the duo at the table.
"Lost count after my tenth one also have you seen my partner for these missions" Honō said while chugging his new coffee and ordering another coffee, telling them to make
it stronger.
"HEY, WHAT YOU MEAN BY THAT" shouted Witz annoyed that Honō would say such a mean thing to her.
As Witz shouted the bartender, Moser began to give them a look of disgust to them before speaking. "Keep it down you privileged clowns and get off the table already there's chairs for a damn reason."
"Oh, be quiet Moser, their trying to help us and get rid of the beasts" pouted Elena now looking at Moser with an annoyed expression on her face.
"Doesn't change the fact that more beasts will come and we'll be back at square one all
over again" retorted Moser with reasonable argument as he began to go out back to try find more coffee beans.
"I swear he means well in his own rude, shitty way" Elena said with a hopeful smile as she sat down in a chair beside Witz and Honō.
"Ya weird way to show" sighed Witz as she got off the table and sat in a chair.
Honō sat drinking another coffee watching
Elena and Witz speak when his expression became more relaxed as he began to say "Yo, Witz the beasts are here" as he said this both him and Witz left to where Honō felt the breach in the perimeter he set up early.
When they had arrived at the towns edge to see around 30 C-rank wolf type aether beasts
about the size of a human walking past the perimeter.
"The report was right so how about fifteen each, sounds fair right?" Asked Honō as he
formed a sword in his hand made of condensed ice coated in electricity.
"Sure, now let's start" replied Witz as all the tubes on purple liquid on her gear that she had been wearing started to emanate a purple light.
As they finished talking Honō and Witz both started charging towards the aether wolves. As Witz was running towards the beasts, one of them lunged at her attempting to bite her but she slid under the wolf. She than launched herself into the air as she got out from under it and dropkicked the one that had been behind the one, she slid under knocking it unconscious.
Honō after watching his teammate defeat one of the beasts in record speed decided to slash the air in the direction of three of his prey, sending out a bright blue static wave of electricity from the sword of ice.
As the bright blue static wave of electricity hit the aether wolves all three of the beasts burst into large tiffany coloured ice freezing them instantly,
And beginning Honō's beast hunt.
