Chapter 1 - The Boy who stood alone

Holy Cross High.

To most, it was just a school—albeit a prestigious one, known for its cutthroat curriculum, elite competitions, and a student body filled with the children of CEOs, politicians, and celebrities.

But to those who walked its polished halls, it was a battleground.

And standing at the pinnacle of that battlefield… was Kaiser Klein.

With his sharp blue hair and cool green eyes, Kaiser wasn't merely admired—he was feared. Every test he topped, every match he dominated, only added to the myth. Teachers praised his genius. Students whispered his name. His presence alone could silence a hallway.

But if you looked closer, past the awe and accolades, you'd see the distance in his gaze—the way he looked through people, not at them.

Kaiser Klein didn't care.

Not about titles. Not about fame. And definitely not about people.

He lived by a rule so strict it shaped every inch of his life:

> "If it doesn't interest me… it doesn't exist."

Dating? "A waste of time." Clubs? "Too loud." Friendship? "A weakness."

He wasn't just cold—he was untouchable. Some called him a prodigy. Others, a perfectionist. But most simply called him what he was:

The Ice Prince of Holy Cross.

No one dared approach him unless they had to. And even then, few left with more than a silent nod.

But here's what no one knew:

Kaiser hadn't always been like this.

There was a time—long ago—when his laughter echoed in playgrounds, when his heart beat for more than just victory. When he was just a boy with dreams, not obsessions. A boy who smiled.

But life has a cruel way of reshaping people.

A single moment—sharp, shattering—had changed everything. It buried the warmth, froze the boy, and carved a machine out of the pain.

And so he became what he needed to be.

Flawless. Focused. Alone.

But fate... doesn't care for rules. And it doesn't respect silence.

Because somewhere in the crowd of perfect uniforms and polite smiles, a storm was waiting. Not loud or angry—but gentle. Disarming.

The kind that doesn't break walls… but melts them.

Kaiser Klein was about to face something he couldn't outpace, outscore, or ignore.

Something that would challenge everything he believed.

Someone.

And when she arrived, the Ice Prince's frozen world would never be the same.
