The flashback ended.
Now, seven-year-old Naruto was flying around Konoha. To him, everything moved slower than usual. And when he channeled more of his chakra—or rather, his ki—everything around him slowed even more.
Today, he was channeling a lot more than normal as he soared across the village and made his way toward the Forest of Death. It was time. His real training was finally going to begin.
He landed deep in the forest and instantly concealed his energy. After taking a deep breath, several wild spiders—massive ones—suddenly rushed at him, trying to attack. But Naruto flipped into the air gracefully and dashed around them with ease. He wasn't even using much of his power yet.
This was practice. He was trying to learn through experience—testing how far he could go.
After two hours of intense training, many of the wild creatures that had surrounded him were either knocked out or, unfortunately, killed by accident. Naruto stood among them, completely unharmed and barely even winded.
But today… today was different.
Today, Naruto had decided to stop holding back.
He looked at his hands, then at his whole body. He could feel it—the immense, terrifying power sleeping inside him. For so long, he had only tapped into fragments. But now, he wanted to know what would happen if he used everything.
Taking a deep breath, Naruto began to channel that overwhelming energy. The moment he did, his body started to tremble—not from weakness, but from the sheer force building within.
Then, with a roar like something straight out of a Goku transformation, Naruto let loose.
The entire area trembled.
Every shinobi who was going about their daily tasks suddenly froze. Before they could even register what was happening, they were slammed to the ground by a crushing force.
All across the village, people fell. The ground trembled. Buildings creaked. The very air grew heavy as the pressure grew stronger and stronger.
At the center of it all, Naruto's body became engulfed in a flame-like aura—wild, powerful, and growing with every passing second.
The energy Naruto was releasing was overwhelming. It wasn't just chakra—it was something beyond, something different, something greater.
And it wasn't just the Leaf that felt it.
All across the Elemental Nations, every shinobi who could sense chakra—or any kind of spiritual energy—suddenly looked toward the Land of Fire. Toward the Leaf Village. Many of them passed out on the spot, their bodies unable to handle the force of what they were sensing.
The Kage from other villages paused in shock, staring into the distance, feeling the same impossible pressure.
Deep within a hidden base, the Akatsuki were in the middle of a meeting. Just as one of them was about to speak, Nagato's eyes widened. Yahiko's body—the puppet he controlled as Pain—suddenly dropped to its knees. Even with the ability to manipulate gravity, Pain couldn't stand. He tried reducing gravity around him, but it made no difference. The pressure was only increasing.
The entire shinobi world was shaking.
Far, far away—across the stars—two enormous eyes suddenly opened within a dark galaxy. They narrowed slightly, sensing the rising energy. Something ancient had noticed.
Meanwhile, Naruto was still powering up.
And this... this was only five or six percent of his full strength.
Then, without warning, a sharp pain shot through Naruto's body.
The flames around him flickered. The pressure vanished instantly, like a bubble popping.
He dropped to his knees, gasping for air. His body trembled. His chest heaved.
Something inside him had stopped the flow of energy. Despite all the power still deep within, he couldn't channel it. Not yet. He looked at his trembling hands—still buzzing with energy. He raised one finger and pointed at a random direction in the forest.
Snap.
He flicked his finger.
In an instant, an entire section of the forest exploded, vanishing as if erased from existence.
Naruto's powers suddenly cut off.
One moment, his body was radiating godlike energy, and the next—a strange internal pressure surged within him, forcing him down to his knees. He gasped for air, clawing at his chest. Despite the vast reserves still inside him, his body simply couldn't channel them all. Not yet.
He looked at his trembling hands. Even now, they pulsed with raw strength. With just a flick of his finger, he pointed toward a distant section of the forest.
BOOM!
An entire area of trees exploded into nothing—like paper before a flame.
Naruto stared at his hand, expression unreadable. His breathing began to slow. Surprisingly, his body was already healing. It seemed that his chakra had instinctively activated to restore the damage. But something else… something deeper… was commanding that chakra, almost as if it was a higher authority ordering it around.
As he stood, he felt the energy stabilizing, retreating into his core. Whatever power had tried to erupt was now dormant—but far from gone.
Meanwhile, across the Elemental Nations, panic had begun to set in.
Back in the Leaf Village, Minato, Jiraiya, and Tsunade finally stood up, their bodies aching from the intense pressure they had just endured. Jiraiya turned to the others, eyes wide.
"What was that…?" he muttered.
Minato narrowed his eyes. "That wasn't normal chakra… It felt different. More intense. More ancient." He looked toward the forest. "I'm worried. What if it's not one of ours? What if another shinobi has attacked the village?"
Jiraiya nodded grimly. "Then we don't have time to waste. Come on."
The three vanished in a flash of speed.
Inside the Hokage residence, Minato quickly turned to Kushina. "Kushina! Take Manma and Naruko inside. Do not come out unless I tell you to."
Kushina nodded, fear tightening in her chest. She grabbed both children and rushed inside, completely forgetting—for the moment—that she had another son out there.
In her heart, only Manma and Naruko seemed important now.
All across the village, the alarms began to rise. ANBU squads moved like shadows across rooftops. Jonin and Chunin sprinted through the streets, checking for damage or signs of enemy attack. Tensions were sky-high, yet no one had seen an invader.
And above it all, Naruto stood calmly in the forest, cloaking his energy once again. He suppressed it with such precision that even the best sensors wouldn't be able to detect him.
He glanced toward the village from a distance.
"Let them search," he muttered. "They won't find anything… yet."
His eyes narrowed slightly, glowing for just a moment before fading.
