"Host, I don't need to go there 'cause your lovely hubby is coming here."
As the system said, Hao emerged inside the room. As he did, he saw Yue in a different outfit. He had remembered which outfit Yue was wearing, but seeing this, he knew that Yue had changed for him.
"Why didn't you come back to me, little one? I was waiting for you," Hao said while taking steps toward the bed, with a gentle smile meant only for Yue.
"When did I say I would come back? So why the hell were you waiting for me? And weren't you enjoying talking with Duke Zhi and his lovely wife?" Yue was rolling his eyes, looking at Hao like he had done something very wrong that could not be forgotten.
Still, Hao sat down beside Yue, near his legs. Yue was still giving side-eyes to Hao while looking at his own nails and blowing at them.
"What happened, little one? Why are you looking at me like this? Did I do something wrong?"
"So you didn't hear what happened?"
