The Land of Fire was known for its lush forests and mild weather, but now, under the embrace of winter, even the Hidden Leaf Village had transformed into a quiet, snowy wonderland.
Snowflakes drifted lazily from the overcast sky, blanketing rooftops, tree branches, and the ground in a soft, cold white.
The chill in the air was sharp but invigorating, and the world seemed to hold its breath in peaceful stillness.
In this picturesque setting, children dashed through the snow-covered training grounds, their laughter ringing through the air as they tossed snowballs at each other.
Some had grouped together to build snowmen, adorning them with sticks for arms and leaves for eyes.
The village, serene and dusted with silver, was alive with warmth despite the biting cold.
Senju Gojo stood near the edge of the field, his breath visible in the frosty air.
His silver-white hair stood out even more against the snowy backdrop, and his calm blue eyes seemed to hold an unusual depth for a child so young.
He watched as his friends—Naruto, Ino, Kiba, Sakura, Shikamaru, Choji, Shino, and Hinata—played in the snow.
There was a lightness in their movements, a joy that made him smile softly.
But beneath that smile was a quiet sadness.
Gojo had to leave.
His grandfather, who had come to check on him, had informed him that they would be returning to their home for a while—outside the village.
It was not a permanent departure, but it was indefinite.
Gojo hadn't told anyone yet.
He wanted to wait for the right moment.
That moment came when the sun peeked through the clouds, casting a golden sheen on the white world.
He gathered his friends together near the frozen pond where they'd spent so many afternoons.
"Everyone… I have something to say," Gojo said quietly.
The group fell silent. Even Choji stopped munching on his chips.
"I'll be leaving the village for a while," he said, his voice steady but soft. "I don't know for how long, but… I'll definitely come back."
The silence was heavy.
Naruto blinked rapidly, his grin faltering.
Ino looked shocked.
Sakura frowned.
Shikamaru's expression turned unreadable, but there was something sad in his eyes.
Kiba, ever blunt, blurted, "You serious? Just like that?"
Gojo nodded and after he part ways with them.
The atmosphere turned somber.
But before it could settle too long, Ino suddenly clapped her hands.
"Then we need to give you a proper send-off!"
Everyone turned to look at her.
"What do you mean?" asked Shino.
Ino grinned. "A going-away gift! Everyone brings something special for Gojo. Something meaningful.
We can't let him leave without remembering us."
Excited murmurs erupted.
Even Naruto, still processing the news, stood up straighter. "Yeah! Let's do it!"
They broke into groups, whispering and planning in their own corners, while Gojo watched from a distance, touched beyond words.
Hours later, as the afternoon deepened into a golden twilight, the group reassembled in front of the main gate of the village.
Gojo was already there, a small travel pack slung over his shoulder.
He expected a quiet farewell.
But what met him was the opposite.
All his friends were waiting, each holding something.
Naruto was first. He thrust a scratched and gave him a limited edition Ramen Noodles Coupon into Gojo's hands. "This is the precious thing to me. I want you to have it."
Gojo stared at it. He could see the rare limited edition on the coupon.
Shikamaru handed over a small scroll. "It's a strategy puzzle I made myself. Thought you might like it. Something to think over while you're away."
Choji offered a carefully packed box of his favorite barbecue-flavored chips. "So you don't forget the best flavor ever."
Kiba scratched the back of his head and passed Gojo a cloth-wrapped bone. "It's from Akamaru's first training toy. He wanted you to have it."
Shino gave a small sealed jar containing rare insect shells. "They're from a breed we raised last season. Unique."
Sakura handed over a notebook. "It's blank… for now. Fill it with whatever you want. Drawings, thoughts, training notes."
Ino finally stepped up. Her gift was simple: a woven bracelet made of white and blue threads.
"I made it myself," she said. "White for snow, blue for you. Don't lose it."
Hinata gave him a scarf which was made by herself though it look rough it was quite warm if it was weared
Gojo stood speechless.
He had thought of this world as a stepping stone.
A place to grow stronger, to plunder opportunities and rise.
He had seen people as tools, things to manipulate and surpass.
But now\...
These bonds felt real.
Warmth swelled in his chest as he accepted the gifts, his hand trembling slightly as he tied Ino's bracelet around his wrist.
"Thank you… all of you," he said, voice cracking a bit.
As he turned toward the gate, preparing to leave, Naruto called out.
"You better come back, Gojo! We'll be waiting at the academy!"
Gojo smiled.
"I will. That's a promise."
He turned his back and walked forward through the snow-covered road.
The village gate closed behind him, but the warmth of friendship burned brightly in his heart.

Gojo's steps paused for a brief second.
Gojo smirked faintly. "They're just the beginning."
