Adam noticed a new line under the [Ability Panel] labeled "Class Skills." And a sense of understanding dawned on him.

It seemed that production class skills were categorized as "Class Skills." Somewhat akin to special classes.

The three levels he had gained were all allocated to the "Sword Saint" class.

After all, it was currently the only mid-tier class he possessed that could enhance his base attributes.

The process of leveling up, Adam realized, was quite similar to the YGGDRASIL game. Players could freely distribute their level-ups to their chosen classes.

In contrast, the reality of this world was different.

To advance in a warrior class, one had to relentlessly hone martial skills, improving technique and training.

To progress in a magic class, one needed to study, read magic tomes, and meditate.

In short, to advance in any class, one had to actively learn the abilities associated with that class.

Hearing Nfirea's question, Adam shifted his gaze from the attribute panel, feigning a look of coming back to his senses. "It's my first time seeing potions made this way. I was a bit surprised."

"It's nothing."

"I'm still not very good at it." Nfirea said humbly, then looked at Adam with excitement. "Compared to recovery potions, healing magic is far more impressive."

"Recovery potions rely on herbs to treat injuries. Whether low-quality or high-grade, they merely accelerate the healing process."

Adam's eyes gleamed with interest as he quietly discussed recovery potions with Nfirea.

Nfirea showed no hesitation, happily engaging with Adam.

As the grandson of Lizzie, E-Rantel's finest pharmacist, and someone who would later be hailed as a genius pharmacist, Nfirea's insights into recovery potions, even now, four years before his prime, surpassed those of most pharmacists in this world.

In YGGDRASIL, the conditions for victory in player-versus-player combat boiled down to four factors:

Information, Level, Equipment, and Resources.

Information was paramount, its importance self-evident.

The battle between Ainz Ooal Gown and Shalltear was a masterclass in leveraging information to its fullest.

Shalltear, a combat-specialized NPC with a build that countered undead, was thoroughly outmaneuvered by Ainz, who used his informational advantage to devastating effect.

He put on quite the show in front of the other Floor Guardians.

Of course, in a random encounter, Shalltear would likely have won.

Levels and equipment needed no explanation.

In terms of levels, Adam could use his "Player" Ability to reach level 100. But equipment was another matter, he currently had no means to acquire any.

The technology of this world couldn't produce divine-class equipment, and the only divine-class items were relics of the "Six Great Gods" And the "Eight Greed Kings." Obtaining them was no small feat.

As for resources, recovery potions, magic scrolls, crystals, gems, accessories, and various consumable items, Adam was even less equipped to compete with the entirety of the "Great Tomb of Nazarick."

This was why he was so intent on discussing recovery potions with Nfirea, hoping to learn to craft them himself.

After resting, the group set out again.

Bask carried Captain Dosari on his back, while the brothers Rand and Lel, having taken recovery potions and Nfirea's alchemical solutions, were able to walk on their own.

In the days that followed, Nfirea continued to use herbs to prepare various powders and healing alchemical solutions, speeding up the recovery of the Rock Team's injuries.

At the same time, he observed the adventurers' healing progress to gauge the effectiveness of his concoctions.

Adam, once his mana recovered, used healing magic to treat Dosari's comminuted leg fracture.

For a time, the Rock Team became something of a burden.

Two days later, a massive city came into view.

E-Rantel!

Three imposing walls made E-Rantel, a border city, look more like a military fortress.

Or rather, as the central city at the border of the Re-Estize Kingdom, the Baharuth Empire, and the Slane Theocracy, E-Rantel was built to fortress specifications.

Since entering the border region, Adam's group had encountered few people, perhaps because they took a shortcut. But as they approached E-Rantel, the number of merchant caravans and adventurers on the road increased significantly.

CREAK! CREAK!

The wooden wheels of the carriage rumbled against the ground.

Lizzie drove the carriage to the city gate, where soldiers immediately stepped forward to inspect it. Upon recognizing her, their faces quickly showed respect.

"It's Madame Bareare! Let them through!"

The gate guards shouted to those behind them.

As a border city, everyone entering from outside was subject to inspection to prevent infiltrators or malcontents, particularly from the Baharuth Empire.

Crack!

Lizzie gave a slight nod to the guards, flicked her whip, and struck the horse's flank with a sharp sound.

The carriage, loaded with herbs and carrying Nfirea in the back, slowly rolled into the city.

Adam and the Rock Team, following behind, were also allowed through without inspection, though each had to pay a 2-copper-coin entry fee.

Indeed, E-Rantel required an entry fee.

In the Re-Estize Kingdom, E-Rantel was the most prosperous trade hub outside of the port cities and the capital.

Its proximity to the Great Forest of Tob and the Katze Plains, both highly dangerous areas, meant the city was teeming with adventurers and mercenaries.

This, in turn, fueled its commercial vibrancy.

Upon entering the city, the streets were filled with carriages preparing to enter or leave.

Adam could clearly sense that adventurers made up a significant portion of the crowd.

This was something he hadn't even felt in the royal capital.

Compared to the subtle oppression and decay he'd sensed in the capital, E-Rantel's first impression was one of vibrant energy permeating the air.
