Chapter 40 - "Two points"

Lu Yin stared coldly at Gulesi. "Say it again—help me apply the medicine."

Gulesi gritted her teeth and said word by word, "Fine, but remember, I'll settle this score with you someday." Then she rubbed the ointment on her hand and pressed it against Lu Yin's back.

A wave of coolness surged in, and Lu Yin exhaled. The healing medicine produced by the Clover Company was indeed effective—it quickly formed a scab.

Gulesi's small hand was soft and boneless. Combined with the cool ointment, Lu Yin truly enjoyed the sensation. His gaze toward Gulesi softened a bit.

"Hmph, get up, let's continue robbing," Gulesi said.

Lu Yin raised his hand and threw the Space-Time Ring to Gulesi. "No more robbing. That's enough. Go play by yourself."

Gulesi hurriedly said, "No way, Erde hasn't appeared yet. We must rob him."

Lu Yin smiled faintly and ignored her. Before, those people never took him seriously, thinking one academy's strongest student was enough to handle him. But now, seven appeared at once. If they tried robbing again, they would definitely face this kind of lineup. Only fools would go.

Lu Yin flipped through the Space-Time Rings of the five students and found two cubic Star Energy Crystals. He waved at Gulesi and took off into the sky.

Suddenly, Gulesi shouted, "Bastard! My battle armor! My bow and arrow!"

"Just borrowing them for now, I'll return them later," Lu Yin's voice grew more distant until it was no longer audible.

On the spot, Gulesi stomped angrily. The armor and bow were given to her by her brother for protection. Thanks to them, Erde feared her. Now they had been taken by that bastard—a shameless, despicable scoundrel.

In Jing City, Zhang Dingtian and the others also saw the battle results on the local network.

Bai Xue was shocked. The students from the Starry Sky Academy were all Heavenly Level, and those daring enough to complete the mission were at least the top three strongest of the academy. Nearly half of them were the strongest students of the academy. She had witnessed the power of the academy's strongest students firsthand, but now seven of them were defeated at once. How did Lu Yin get so strong in just a few days?

Zhang Dingtian suddenly looked up to the south of Jing City, revealing a rare smile. "Old friends are coming."

Bai Xue's eyes lit up. "Is that... Zhoushan?"

The two quickly flew toward the south of Jing City but suddenly stopped midway and looked northward. "Another old friend is coming. Seems like everyone wants to wade into the muddy waters of Jing City."

Bai Xue was delighted. "Wu Sheng is also here. That's great."

Zhang Dingtian took a deep breath. "They shouldn't have come. Seven Saints with four others, plus Lu Yin—five against dozens of trial students. The power disparity is huge."

In the distance, Lu Yin found a remote mountain village. He placed flame crystals around and took out a large number of Star Energy Crystals, crushing them immediately. Suddenly, surging star energy flowed forth. Lu Yin activated the Heavenly Star Technique and began absorbing.

To the west of Jing City, Erde and more than a dozen students appeared. "Everyone, adjust your status. Three days from now, we launch the official assault on Jing City. Our opponents won't be the local natives protecting Jing City but the upcoming second batch of trial students. According to regulations, even if the second batch includes Fusion Realm experts, their power will be sealed, only allowing Exploration Realm strength. Even so, they are no ordinary opponents. Everyone, prepare yourselves."

All the students solemnly nodded.

The Dalu Empire's planetary trials rarely saw a second batch of trial students. This time it was purely because of the Starry Sky Tenth Academy, where many hidden geniuses temporarily joined the trial to improve their grades. This was the reason for the second batch, some of whom had come to Earth—and the opponents they would face included these prodigies.

More and more students approached Jing City.

In southern Huaxia, more than a dozen exhausted students landed on the sea. "Finally arrived in Huaxia. Erde's group is organizing to rob the escapees' possessions. We have to act too, can't let him get the upper hand."

In the east and north, groups of students were also arriving. The situation in Huaxia was stirring.

At the moment the sun illuminated the land on the third day, Zhang Dingtian stood atop the steel city walls, looking solemnly into the distance as a group of black shadows appeared.

At the same time, far away, Lu Yin opened his eyes. In three days, he absorbed five cubic Star Energy Crystals and expelled the impurities from his body. Now, his body was filled with boiling star energy, much stronger than before. This was energy suppression—the more star energy absorbed inside, the higher the energy intensity.

His current self had definitely reached the peak of the Exploration Realm, which in terms of combat power should be—three thousand.

In these days, Lu Yin had robbed a total of seven cubic Star Energy Crystals and used five cubic ones. Looking at the remaining two cubic Star Energy Crystals in front of him, he couldn't resist the temptation. He took out a dice and rubbed his hands together. "Come on, let's gamble. Hopefully, I don't roll a one this time. It's such a rip-off—trying to steal something good is almost impossible," he said, then crushed one cubic Star Energy Crystal.

The dice's dull surface quickly changed and finally turned into shining starlight.

Lu Yin swallowed nervously, extended his finger, and gently tapped the dice. It spun rapidly. Lu Yin stared at it without blinking, his eyes wide open. Eventually, five faces of the dice disappeared, leaving only one face—the number two.

Lu Yin was excited. Two points, an unfamiliar number. He stared hard at the dice, when suddenly a black hole appeared and spun beneath it. A thought popped into Lu Yin's mind: "Decompose? Decompose everything?" He was surprised and wondered what this meant.

Watching the slowly spinning black hole, Lu Yin thought for a moment and casually threw a piece of scrap iron into it. In an instant, the scrap iron passed through the black hole and fell out on the other side, no longer scrap iron but a complete iron block—smooth on the surface, hard, and much smaller in volume than the scrap.

Lu Yin looked at the iron block and understood what "decompose" meant. Anything thrown in, if it was a lifeless object, would be decomposed into its raw materials.

This ability was quite useful. Lu Yin thought for a moment and threw in a Space-Time Ring. It belonged to one of the students he had robbed; he had kept several students' Space-Time Rings because those students had gone too far.

The Space-Time Ring passed through the black hole and fell out as a dark red metal piece the size of a fingernail. Lu Yin was pleasantly surprised. This was Qiu Jin, the metal used to make Space-Time Rings, one of the precious minerals.

After putting away the Qiu Jin, Lu Yin threw all the robbed Space-Time Rings into the black hole. Altogether, he obtained a thumb-sized piece of Qiu Jin. After thinking for a moment, he threw the Qiu Jin into the black hole again. With a snap, it dropped out as a shimmering dark golden metal particle.

Lu Yin's eyes widened. This was Qiu Jin Essence, far more valuable than Qiu Jin itself, a necessary material for making super-large Space-Time Rings and very expensive.

Lu Yin carefully put away the Qiu Jin Essence, his eyes bright with excitement. "Maybe I should find a junkyard to specifically decompose things in the future?"

After five minutes, the black hole disappeared.

This black hole existed for a limited time, which could be exchanged with Star Energy Crystals, just like the time-stop space. Lu Yin guessed the exchange ratio was probably the same. He felt quite troubled, thinking no matter how many Star Energy Crystals he had, it wouldn't be enough.

"Forget it, I'll figure it out later," Lu Yin muttered to himself. Moving his body, he heard a crackling sound. Looking up toward Jing City, he said, "Time to go back," and with a bang, he flew off into the distance.

Lu Yin rushed toward Jing City, but the city was already in chaos. Millions of survivors looked up fearfully at the sky. Waves of aftershocks swept across the land from time to time, bringing disasters.

Erde led more than twenty students to attack Jing City. By the time this news spread, the war had already begun.

The steel city walls were destroyed immediately. Bai Xue gasped for breath, standing outside the ruined walls. In front of her were Haidian and two other students, all wearing proud expressions.

"Pathetic natives dare to block us—how arrogant," one student said disdainfully, his eyes burning hot as he stared at Bai Xue. This woman was extremely beautiful.

Another student also stared hotly.

They were all the academy's strongest. Even one of them alone could deal with Bai Xue, but because of Bai Xue's appearance, all three came. If it weren't for the large number of people around, many other students were casting glances from afar.

Haidian frowned and looked at Bai Xue. "Woman, I'll give you a chance to submit to us. I can take you away from this trash planet and truly explore the stars."

"Haidian, you don't intend to hog everything yourself, do you?" one of the other students immediately protested.

Haidian was arrogant. There were differences between academies, and his strength surpassed the other two. The only people here who could defeat him were Erde and Zhang Dingtian. He didn't care about anyone else.

Bai Xue clenched her fists tightly and slowly exhaled. Her blue hair fluttered, and then the ground froze, the surrounding temperature dropping sharply.

The three students opposite her were indifferent. At most, this woman was comparable to the academy's strongest, and one against three was unrealistic.

In the distance, Zhoushan roared angrily and landed with another student. His strength was barely enough to handle one opponent.

In the sky, more than ten figures hovered coldly, looking down arrogantly. They never worried about failure—it was just a native city.

"Wasting time, attack!" one student said proudly, raising a hand toward Jing City. The air pressure in the sky dropped, countless people were crushed and spat blood, looking up at the high sky in despair.
