Chapter: 16, Primordial Physique
After looking at the Description of [Mana Blessed], Dain again realized that he still had to go through the physical training.
Why? Because Dain currently doesn't have even an ounce of mana in him. How would he learn to use a gun or use a gun when he doesn't even have a gun?
And he didn't want to waste the skill charge on things that are possible to do with hard work. He has already used way too much charge.
Just these two Primeval Rank attributes cost 10% each. The modification on his skills cost 3% each and the 4% went into creating the flaw.
As to why physical training is the only way to get mana, Lilith was currently explaining that.
"So, the reason why you need to do physical training is because the mana, or World's Stamina, is everywhere on Imarion. In the atmosphere, dirt, trees, air and everything you can think of. The amount and control over mana can differ, depending on the being. But there is one thing common in everyone, any injuries you receive will allow mana to sweep into your body.
"As a result, the amount of mana you have has a slight chance of increasing. Because of this discovery, many crazy people have created many brutal techniques that can damage every inch of your muscle, making abundant mana enter your body, increasing your mana as a result.
"But this method was very risky and painful. Half of the people who used that technique died in the process. The remaining half mostly awakened but turned to the evil side and the people still weren't able to awaken mana even after enduring the immeasurable pain, became cripples and lost their mind."
All three boys held their breath, trembling as they imagined the grueling scene in their head. The other four were completely unfazed. After all, they have already seen things much worse than what Lilith explained.
After hearing what he needed to hear, Dain turned his attention to the next Primeval Rank attribute he imagined.
[Primordial Physique] Attribute Description: "You have the physique of a Primordial. A Race widely proclaimed as the Fourth Strongest Race."
Primordial, a race that was mostly renowned for their physical capabilities. They were so strong that even the weakest of that race could lift an entire big mountain in their fingers, let alone the strongest people of that race.
Dain had read about this race in an ancient book he found on a ruin. They were one of the pinnacle races that had many demigods, beings above level 500.
But somehow, that powerful race vanished completely from the land of Imarion with no sign found for the last hundreds of thousands of years.
Dain himself didn't know what their actual capabilities were. He only imagined the physique attribute to be strong enough that even at its weakest, it can hold an entire star in its palm.
Dain didn't expect this outcome, he thought he was exaggerating their strength but it seems that he got lucky. After finishing the four hour long lecture, Lilith instructed them to do a basic physical exercise for starters. They can't do intense workouts all of a sudden and can't do anything at all.
They have to utilise the time they still have left properly. So they completed the somewhat decent workout after many hours of rest. They ate lunch at the cafeteria and completed what was remaining of their goal.
When their goal for today was complete, all of them just went to a different corner of the training ground and began to practice their innate skills. Since they were unable to learn external skills without awakening their mana.
Dain, unlike others, was just sitting on a corner, doing nothing after finishing his exercise. He was currently calculating about what he should imagine for and how much charge he should save in case of emergency in the future, since he still didn't know the charging speed of the skill.
At that moment, Azaria approached him from behind, "Um… Dain? What are you doing? Can I join you for a second?" she asked nervously. Her heart was practically leaping out of her chest.
Just looking at him from this close made her extremely excited, she was so tense and tried to hide her physical emotion that sweat covered her entire face.
Looking at the person he once had feelings for, Dain felt an unusual calmness. He wasn't happy to see her like he did before. He was just indifferent, not feeling anything.
Azaria shivered seeing his face up close. As she saw him looking at her, she felt as if his eyes touched her skin on those parts, making her more excited than before. It was as if wherever Dain looked, her clothes would vanish from that place of her body, making her completely exposed in the open. And it made her… more excited.
Seeing her shivering so intensely, Dain thought that she might be nervous, just like the many times before. He closed his eyes and asked in a neutral tone, "Why are you here?"
His voice sent electricity through her heart and she 'released' something. It was a good thing that she wore a sanitary pad just in case, so her liquid wasn't noticeable.
She then hurriedly excused herself as she said, "I-If you're busy, then I would t-talk to you later. Bye!" she rushed away.
When the other two questioned her she just said one thing "He talked to me."
This immediately sparked a hint of jealousy in their heart. After all, Dain has been ignoring them the moment they came to the past. The only other time he talked to them was when he reprimanded Penelope for using charm skills.
Ignoring their jealous looks, Azaria hurried to her room. Her body is way too sensitive right now so she needed to release some pressure.
The other two just looked at her retreating figure with burning jealousy in their eyes. If only they also received a flaw like that….
