Chapter 81 - Chapter 81: Coveting the Flying Thunder God Mass Transmission Law, Uzumaki Mito's Beating

"KR...."

When Danzo heard what the Third Generation said and saw their contemptuous look, he immediately exploded: "Ha! In that case, I won't bother our Third Hokage anymore! I'll leave the matter between the Uzumaki clan, Mito-sama, and the Uchiha to you to figure out! Humph!"

He stormed off, ignoring the Third Generation's calls to wait.

"This guy... Still so hot-headed even at his age? It was just the truth," the Third muttered, sighing.

But moments later, Danzo returned, face grim and muttering to himself. The Third Generation, awkward from being overheard, tried to lighten the mood.

"Danzo! Changed your mind already?" he asked with a sheepish smile.

"Not at all!" Danzo snapped, stepping back inside. "You interrupted me, and I almost forgot the most important thing! Uchiha Ren Takashi's Flying Thunder God teleportation array—have you forgotten it?"

He continued with growing fervor. "Think about it! If it really allows super-long-distance group teleportation, do you realize what this means? We could send troops anywhere instantly—even inside enemy villages. With this technique, unifying the ninja world becomes possible!"

Danzo's ambitions ran wild. In his mind, he was already the god of the new world.

"Danzo, you're going too far," the Third Generation warned, frowning. "Unifying the ninja world is not our goal. I want peace, not domination."

Danzo scoffed internally. To him, Sarutobi Hiruzen's hesitation was weakness.

"Still, we must acquire this technique," the Third conceded. "It's too powerful to remain in Uchiha hands alone. I'll summon Ren Takashi myself. We need to control this jutsu."

"You sure you can handle it?" Danzo asked sharply. "I don't trust your soft approach. Let me do it."

"No!" the Third snapped. "You'll ruin everything with your aggression. Leave this to me."

Danzo's eyes narrowed. "Hiruzen, you'll regret this!"

He left once more, vowing silently to seize the jutsu himself. At Root headquarters, he began gathering intel.

Meanwhile, the Third Generation went to the Senju territory to meet Uzumaki Mito and Uzumaki Luming.

As soon as he entered, Uzumaki Luming confronted him. "Why did you suppress our cries for help? Do you want the Uzumaki clan extinct? We were your allies!"

The Third tried to explain: "It wasn't personal. The daimyos warned us not to interfere. They threatened to unite the villages against us if we did."

"So it's our fault?" Luming scoffed. "You were scared of the daimyos and chose to betray your allies instead of warning Mito-sama or letting the Senju act independently?"

"That's not fair," the Third said weakly. "I admit I was wrong, and I'll make it up to you. We'll allocate prime land for the Uzumaki in Konoha."

"Not enough," Mito said coldly. "We want control of the barrier team. Increase its funding fivefold. No high-risk missions for five years. And land, free of charge."

The Third hesitated. That was a lot to concede. But he had no choice.

"Agreed," he said reluctantly.

Mito nodded. "Good. Then get started. And if Luming isn't satisfied with anything, I'll be watching."

The Third gave a strained smile. "Understood."

Luming smiled faintly, savoring the Third's frustration. It was, at last, a moment of justice.
