Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Auction

The room smelled like expensive liquor, cigar smoke, and sex.

I stood barefoot on a glass platform, red velvet curtains draped behind me, the only barrier between me and the eyes devouring every inch of my exposed skin. I wasn't naked—yet. A thin silk robe hung off my shoulders, barely covering anything. My hands were bound with satin rope. A black silk blindfold covered my eyes.

My heart pounded like a war drum.

"Number 27," the auctioneer's voice boomed in the luxurious hall. "Virgin. Untouched. Young. Obedient."

Lies. All of them. But none of these bastards cared.

There was a murmur in the crowd—dozens of men, all masked, all rich, all dangerous. Laughter, whispered bets, the clink of crystal glasses. My skin crawled.

"She looks fragile. I like that," one man said.

"Ten million," another voice called out.

My stomach twisted.

"Twenty," someone else offered.

My knees wobbled. I fought to stay upright.

"Fifty."

Gasps. Even the auctioneer paused.

"Fifty million dollars, going once..."

"One hundred."

Silence. Thick and instant.

The air shifted.

His voice. Deep, cruel, rich like aged whiskey. Not a shout—just a cold, confident statement.

"One hundred million."

I heard the hush ripple through the room. Even the other girls backstage went still. Whoever he was, they feared him.

"Going once. Going twice. Sold—to Mr. X."

A firm grip closed around my arm. He didn't speak. He didn't need to. The power in his touch alone made me feel like I had no choice.

I was led down a long hallway, still blindfolded, into a waiting car with leather seats and silent bodyguards. No one spoke.

My body trembled.

And yet… part of me felt alive. Terrified. Angry. Curious. Wet.

What kind of girl gets turned on being bought?

Apparently, me.

I didn't know how long the drive lasted. When the car finally stopped, I was led into a place that smelled like wood and wealth. A faint classical melody played in the background. My bare feet touched warm marble. My robe slipped lower.

"Remove her blindfold," the man said.

The voice again. Sin itself.

Cool fingers untied the silk.

My eyes blinked open—straight into the face of a god.

Sharp jaw. Black suit. Crooked smirk.

Eyes like a storm. Silver, cold, merciless.

"Welcome to your new life, pet," he said.

"I own you now."
