Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 Rum Village, More Monsters

One o'clock in the afternoon.

Feld led the slave guards into the gray fog, in fact, it was hard to create the concept of time when you were in the gray fog, because it was gray all the time, and only at night, it turned into a darkness that you couldn't see out of your hand. Ashena rode a giant wolf and was at the front of the group to open the way, the eyes of the Chosen seem to have been modified to view the world more clearly.

It was followed by Feld and his newly formed slave guard, keeping a slower pace and trudging through the woods filled with thorns and tentacles of flesh and blood.

"According to the map, we will soon reach Rum, the village that once supplied the city with an abundance of vegetables."

"Unfortunately, all I can see right now is decay." Ashina put her hands above her eyes and tried her best to see farther, "Well, watch out for our right front, seven rotting corpses are closing in, I think they're the villagers of Rum Village."

"Practice for the newcomers."

Seeing Ashena's relaxed face, Feld knew that the rotting corpses coming were small trash, just enough to let the new recruits see blood.

Several new recruits heard this and let out a gurgling sound of swallowing saliva in unison, their instincts told them that this was the time to run away, but with Lord Lord right behind them, they didn't dare to act rashly.

Thinking of the smooth and delicious eggs, the guards seemed as if their souls had been sublimated, most many slaves had never eaten eggs until they lived until now. When they ate the eggs at noon, many of them couldn't even chew and swallowed the eggs into their stomachs in a hurry, and several of them were stuck with the eggs. But spare them all the pleasure they felt.

In order to enjoy this pleasure, even at the risk of death, the slaves were happy to bear it.

"Roar~"

A woman resembling an ancient corpse of Loulan rushed out from the gray mist, without a single piece of clothing, her dried and disgusting breasts drooping down to the small of her back, her body filled with mucus.

The seasoned slave guards stood up their halberds and stabbed them from all directions, holding the rotting corpse firmly in place.

"Here, poke her in the head, or jab her in the chest cavity a few more times, keep your hands steady, and don't swing your body too much."

The bobcat graciously shared the experience, then tugged on the recruit, dragging the limp-legged fellow over to the rotting corpse.

The recruit raised his halberd a few times, froze and didn't dare to stab, and even peed his pants at the hissing carrion.

"This is the devil... Devil." A recruit's teeth chattered.

Felder had seen many zombie movies in his previous life, but the slaves hadn't, and they thought that the devil resided in the carrion, and if they weren't careful, they would be cursed by the devil.

"Do it! Don't be a cowardly quail." Fielder scolded, he couldn't let the soldiers develop fear, because fear was contagious, and by then more people would see the rotting corpses as devils rather than a creature that could be killed, "Even if it's a devil, with me, as well as the Chosen One here, you're afraid of nothing! The devil will still kill you!"

"Pfft~"

Being scolded by Feld, the soldier finally handed out his halberd, and although it was with his eyes closed, and he even almost stabbed crookedly to pounce into the carrion's embrace, he finally took the first step.

After the recruit did this, his legs went limp and he collapsed to the ground.

"See, it wasn't difficult and there's no curse." Feld gestured to the corpses on the ground and snapped his fingers briskly, "As long as you get the distance right, they're better to deal with than silly elks."

The other carrion corpses surrounded them, and with the first person demonstrating, the rest of the new recruits mustered up the courage to attack.

After easily disposing of this batch of monsters, Feld led the group onward and soon arrived outside of Rum Village.

"What's going on with these rotting corpses?"

Feld looked at the mini-map, with its constantly quivering skull logo, and scratched his head in confusion.

Could they be dancing?

"Well... Lord, I can clear out the rotting corpses in Rum Village by myself, it's too dangerous in front of us, so I'll just go." Ashina's eyes dodged back and forth, and her white face was dyed red at some point.

This odd appearance immediately aroused Feld's curiosity as to what exactly Ashina had seen.

"Let's go and take a look together." Feld rubbed his chin.

"Well, uh, okay." Ashina stammered.

Feld immediately regretted his stubbornness when he saw the scene exploding before him.

A large pile of deformed corpses were playing "Bioroids" in the farmland outside the village! The scene was chaotic.

It was obvious that even the "cocks" were rotten, but they seemed to be doing the exercise instinctively.

Fielder was too shocked to speak, covering his face and secretly thinking: I've actually traveled to the world of pornographic games, right?

No wonder the female carrion from before didn't even have clothes.

The soldiers were also amused and shouted, and the originally depressing atmosphere was swept away.

"Boom!"

Ashina couldn't hold herself back and immediately commanded the Dragon Seed Wolf to perform a flame purification.

Space distorted for a while, the hot blue flames engulfed most of the twisted figures, crackling bones bursting endlessly, and in the end, they all turned into ashes.

Several carrion corpses with only human outlines screamed and charged from the rear.

Iron Hammer immediately reacted, his tall body slightly leaned back, like a bow storing power, when the carrion approached, a shield strike blasted the carrion over, followed by a merciless trample, the fragile chest cavity was crushed, and the carrion immediately stopped moving.

The guards were not willing to be left behind, after all, these staggering corpses were all walking silver coins.

Under the chaotic poking of the halberds, the carrion without armor could only leave behind a series of corpses.

"Let's kill our way into the village together, be careful not to leave the range of the fog repelling gas lamp." Feld's hands itched to watch, it was a pity that he was holding the important fog repelling lamp, otherwise he would have wanted to hack two of them for fun.

"Pffffffffff~" one carrion fell in a pool of blood.

The guards advanced steadily, and Feld could clearly hear that the footsteps of the crowd were beginning to converge, converging into a rhythmic roar, a natural drumbeat, and as long as the rhythm was mastered, everyone could feel the collective power. The new recruits were hesitant to move forward, but infected by the crowd, they quickly joined in the strangulation.

Soon most of the carrion in Rum Village was killed, and there were rotting corpses everywhere, the stench was unbearable.

Felder walked to the center of the village, where a dilapidated well, now collapsed. Felder placed his fog repelling lights here, and had just announced the order to rest for a mere five minutes when he noticed a large red skull symbol suddenly springing up on the mini-map.

"Beware! There are still monsters here, no, there are very many!" Without saying a word, Feld was about to announce a retreat, but the enemies were extremely fast, even a few points faster than trotting on horseback.

"My lord, run away, I saw .... it." The guard in charge of the sentry ran in a hurry, and just as a few words came out of his mouth, he was interrupted by Feld.

Leaving Rum Village now would be right on a collision course with the enemy, and it was imperative to find a place to reject the guard.
