He tapped on the part about [Boons] in the main screen and Nick saw the screen fritz out a little bit for a brief moment. Almost like a trick of the light, the screen returned to normal as if the fritz didn't happen. When the screen showed the list of boons available to him, something at the top of the screen surprised him.
===[Boon Selection]===

He was surprised to see that he had a total of four boons that he could have, but then he thought about how strange it was since he was only allowed three. He did look at the list of boons that were available to him while he subconsciously thought about it, yet it interested him that the highest boon on the list—Essence of Anima—was at a staggering 125 percent compatibility rating.
This made him tap on it as he was curious about what it meant.
==={Boon: Essence of Anima}===
A power unseen and undetectable by machine. Anima Mundi—or the "World Soul"—is the essence of life that is generated within worlds, but planets that bear sapient and sentient life tend to create purer and denser Anima. First uncovered in a world teeming with life unlike anywhere else in the universe, this mysterious arcane energy can be used to perform magical feats in races that are attuned to its flow.
However, Anima comes in many forms. Just as there is a benevolent and life-giving type of Anima, there also exists a corruptive and toxic version of itself that can even destroy masters of Anima.
This Boon enables one to wield, manipulate, see, touch, and generate pure Anima in a similar fashion to an avatar of Ancient Magic.

Nick saw the effects of this Boon and felt like this was something he...
As his conscious mind was processing what this Boon was, his body moved to quickly accept it as one of his boons. If seen from the outside, it would be like a man dying of thirst in the desert finally finding water to drink and drowning himself in a self-generating pool of clear pure water.
This also turned the 3/4 at the top of the screen to a 2/4. Now with one Boon chosen, he quickly chose the last two.
Unlike his subconscious movements before, these next two boons he chose were for having a more resilient mind (Celestial Mind Structure) and the ability to work with machines (Technological Affinity) so that he was, theorically, a Time Lord. Admittedly, he did understand the nature of a few of them without needing the System to tell him.
Paleblood of the OldOnes, from what Nick understood, was essentially the ultimate blood transformation the the Bloodborne game. This would have inevitably allowed him to go from Human to an infantile Old One from the game universe and caused problems with everyone. It would be, more or less, a boon for those with darker natures.
Keyblade God would have been such a good boon for Nick, but while a Keyblade or two would be beneficial, he knew that Technological Affinity would achieve similar results. Plus, he had a feeling that choosing this boon would have also invited the Heartless, Nobodies, and potentially Organization XIII into the Doctor Who universe. Those dark bastards are not the worst choices, but easily in the top five.
The worst one to have chosen, in Nick's opinion, would have been Blood of the Warp. Despite not being intimately familiar with this universe, he did have a boyfriend of his introduce him into this grimdark universe where humanity is pushed to its breaking point. He knew that, by choosing this boon, it would have added a whole heap of trouble that gave him headaches.
That definitely included the Four Chaos Gods potentially making it too dangerous to live.
Now, from that point, any of the other boons were somewhat mediocre in nature. He could understand why Heart of the Force was there among countless other boons, as Nick loved watching Star Wars and dreaming of being either a Jedi or Sith, but it seemed to be right for him to choose the boons he choose.

With all of his boons chosen, the screen began to change. From the boon selection and race selection screens to a final readout of his new stats and skills, Nick smiled happily.
[With your boons and race selected,] the screen read out in Nick's vision, [you are now able to live once more in your new universe. You will be granted a System that is only visible to you and no other where you can track your progress in life and learn how to control your new abilities.]
Unseen by Nick, the screen was already downloading the new System into the very heart of his soul. This would be unable to be removed or detected by any of the natives of the Whoniverse—including the Pantheon and Division—and had multiple safeguards for nearly anything fatal to it or its host's survival.
[With the boon of Essence of Anima selected, your very existence is protected from being destroyed by any form of matter destruction, time manipulation, or spatial-temporal disturbances. This will enable you complete freedom from being physically and spiritually destroyed by the Time Lords or higher beings.]
As the screen changed once more to read out what Nick presumed the other two boons he chose, something interfered with the screen again. This time, the screen changed from a cerulean azure color scheme to a darker black/red scheme.
[As your soul is stained by the Abyssal Sea, you will be able to manipulate the more darker and chaotic forms of magic. This will also affect your physical Human vessel by preventing certain status affects from taking root. Illnesses, such as cancer and parasitical infections, will not be able to kill you at the cost of being more painful to endure. Insanity, curses of the mind, and prodigy-level madness are more likely to occur.]
"What?" Nick inquired with the screen.
[Death will actively avoid you. If you die in the Whoniverse, you will eventually return to life. Unlike the {False Immortality} of Captain Jack Harkness or the regenerative abilities of the Time Lords, your physical form will be purely be made of !@#$!@#% and reconstitute itself over time.]
One of the words had been obfuscated by something Nick did not recognize. After he read that from the screen, the pain and general sickness in his soul returned in full. It felt like he was doubling over in so much pain while his soul was wanting to puke and expel the sickness, but as a soul, he couldn't purify himself.
As he endured the pain of his soul breaking down by the toxic sickness of the Abyssal Sea, he could feel some sort of shadow linger. Something he hadn't noticed before nor seemed to have cared about, yet now it was like an unavoidable stain. Nick felt like his soul was, again, on the verge of self-destructing.
Yet Death nevercame.
His soul remained in the darkness on the verge of breaking apart with the dark cracks in his form. Some of these dark cracks were even making his soul appear as if he cried black tears.
Then, after a seemingly unknown amount of time had passed, Nick's soul was ejected from that dimension. The only traces of his existence there was only a single teardrop shaped dark crimson diamond lying in the sand just beyond the edge of the dark tide.
