Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: How to Reach Him

Location: Office of Japan Intelligence Chief Secretary, Akira Kurosawa — 9:20 AM

"Aspect, you're here. Did David Waise tell you anything?"

Aspect shook his head. "Not much… But when I examined the letter closely, I noticed ancient markings on the back. I dipped it in water—and this appeared."

> "We exist."

"Yes, we're still alive. We still exist."

"You are a fool. Especially your so-called 'Perfect Detective.' If even he received this message…"

"Then he must have returned to Tokyo after meeting David Waise. But don't worry—"

"You'll never reach us."

"We are powerful. Highly profiled. And within three years, we will destroy you… and that fool Aspect as well."

"There's no guarantee this message will even reach you."

"Be happy. Stay tuned."

"Goodbye."

Aspect stared at the letter. "How is this even possible? This organization…"

Kurosawa nodded grimly. "And David Waise told us something else… 'My father never solved any such case. And neither did the U.S. Intelligence.'"

He continued, "He said his father confessed everything before his death. In 1925, during the first attack, the case was assigned to him. But after 1932, the organization suddenly went silent. No more strikes. U.S. Intelligence assumed the threat was over. So to polish their global image, they declared the case closed—and claimed all eight members had been eliminated."

Kurosawa leaned back in his chair, exhaling slowly. "The world applauded them. They were honored. But the truth is... no one defeated the organization. It disappeared on its own. The case was never solved."

He looked Aspect in the eyes. "And that's all he knew. His final words to us were: 'Let this go. It's buried deep in the past. Leave it buried.'"

Aspect's jaw tightened. "So U.S. Intelligence lied."

"I didn't want to believe it either. But listen to me carefully, Aspect—we can't let this news leak. Not to the U.S. Not to anyone. If word gets out, we won't survive the consequences."

"You've already figured it out, haven't you?" the chief said. "You only have three years to eliminate the organization. If you fail…"

"We're finished," Aspect completed the sentence.

"Exactly. But why three years? What's the biggest global event three years from now?"

Aspect thought for a moment. His eyes widened. "The U.S. Presidential Elections."

"Correct. They plan to seize control of the U.S. government first. Once they win the presidency, they'll manipulate elections in other major countries—UK, Italy, Germany, France, China, Russia… even Japan. Slowly, their influence will infect the entire world. The United States—the superpower—will fall under their command first. And from there, the rest will follow."

"If we can't stop them before those elections," the chief said gravely, "we'll lose control. Maybe not the whole world… but the game will slip out of our hands."

Aspect stood still, processing everything.

"These aren't ordinary people," the chief added. "They're highly profiled, powerful individuals. So Aspect—you'll need to become just as powerful. Build connections with political figures in the U.S., China, Russia, Italy, Germany, France, Japan… even Denmark."

"I already figured that out, Chief," Aspect said confidently. "And yes—I have a plan."

"Then go. Eliminate them within three years. This is no longer just a mission—this is a do-or-die battle for the future of this world."

A man leaned back in his golden armchair, sipping red wine. His eyes gleamed in the moonlight.

"So… your Perfect Detective decoded the message?" he chuckled. "Didn't expect that."

"But sorry, kiddo… even with this, you'll never reach us."

He raised his glass lazily toward the fire. "We'll finish you off. Just wait three years."

A wicked grin curved his lips.
