Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Alaya’s Third Video

"Fou… Fou (Who exactly are you)?"

Fou's fur bristled, body fully alert, ready to fight!

This person was exuding a faint aura that felt equal in level, making Fou instantly tense up.

Because… this aura was far, far stronger than even its own.

So strong, in fact, it was crushingly overpowering!

Even that bastard Merlin, no matter how many copies of himself he split into, had never given it this kind of pressure!

Wait a sec—something's off!

This person's aura was becoming weirdly similar to that of the boy next to them.

Their entire body was wrapped in multiple layers of restraints—kind of like the bondage play stuff it saw before without a doubt.

They had completely taken on the boy's shape!

"Little kitty~ Ehehe, little kitty, let me suck just a bit~!"

Kirina still hadn't given up.

Such an absurdly adorable kitty—if she uploaded a video of it online, it'd definitely cause a wave of envy and jealousy.

It'd be so cute that even the legendary "Ah dies from cuteness" would pile into mountains!

However…

The little kitty's whole posture screamed rejection—it was fluffed up to the max. If she tried to forcefully cuddle it, she'd absolutely get clawed!

"What did I even do to deserve this from you…?"

Kirina gritted her teeth in frustration.

Back when this little guy was with Sanjiro, it looked so comfortable, even blissful.

But it wouldn't let her touch it even once?!

Annoyed, she muttered, "Damn it… could it be his lover from a past life?"

"Yeah. In a past life, it was always with me. Now it's come to repay the favor."

Sanjiro smiled as he watched the two little creatures interact.

After he restarted the world, everything that existed about him was erased. Everyone's memories of him had vanished.

Text, images, artifacts… everything was gone.

Even the Beast IV couldn't recall a thing.

But with Alaya's videos, his existence was gradually returning.

Even if Fou had forgotten all memories related to him, it would still instinctively feel a liking for him, wanting to be close.

Truly… love at first sight!

"Hmph, why don't you say I was your lover in a past life?" Kirina pouted.

She didn't believe a single word of that nonsense.

Who the hell catches feelings for a cat anyway?

Someone who keeps pointing at a cat and yelling "Transform!" has gotta be messed up!

If cats could talk, they'd definitely bite back with—

Just imagine: a gorilla squatting on your belly every day, sniffing and teasing you—who could put up with that?

"No, no. You weren't my past-life lover—you were my enemy!" Sanjiro reached out and tugged on her golden twin tails. "I raised you all these years, and you owe me so much. How're you going to pay it back?"

"Hmph! You raised an adorable, sweet little angel like me. You lost out? Fine! Once I graduate and make money, I'll support you!"

Kirina huffed confidently.

With her incredible learning ability, she was destined for greatness.

Once she started making big money, she'd have this guy begging her to become his sugar mommy!

"Alright then, I'll be waiting."

Sanjiro messed up her hair into a bird's nest while smoothly snatching her phone. He smiled sweetly, "Say, Kirina, should we have a talk about your recent gacha spending?"

"W-Wha…?"

Kirina shrank back, clearly lacking confidence.

"You brat, did you really delete the payment messages? You thought I wouldn't find out?"

Sanjiro's smile grew even gentler.

It was the kind of situation often seen in news stories—kids deleting in-app purchase messages. And now it happened right under his nose.

Letting her use the phone was already generous, and yet she had the nerve to spend a fortune on gacha?!

Go three days without a beating, and a kid starts tearing the roof off!

He pulled out a feather duster—and a firewood stick.

"Come. Pick your stick!"

"I-I won't do it again!" Kirina instantly surrendered, wearing a nervous smile.

What else could she do?

Everyone else saw her as a sweet angel of a girl. But in his eyes, when it came to disciplining her—he never held back!

She didn't hesitate to scream, "YAMETEEEE KUDASAIIIII~!"

"…I haven't even hit you yet, why the hell are you yelling?"

Sanjiro's face went deadpan.

This damn brat—playing this act in front of Fou?! Where was his dignity supposed to go?

Fou tilted its head, puzzled as it watched the two of them.

This handsome young man it had a fondness for—was he about to fight this strange-aura girl?

Hmm… should it help?

Fou hesitated.

The girl's aura was far too weird and strong—it wasn't confident at all. But it couldn't bear the thought of the boy being in danger!

Zoom—

Fou immediately lunged, planting itself in front of Sanjiro, puffing up and trying to appear as fierce as a dragon in a roar.

"You traitor! Even you're bullying me now!"

Kirina got angrier the more she thought about it.

She was such a kind, lovely angel—couldn't even bring herself to kill an ant! Why were both of these guys teaming up to target her?

Ding-dong~

At that moment, she heard a familiar notification from her "special focus" list.

Kirina pounced. "Give me the phone! Alaya just posted again!"

"Posted again???"

Sanjiro let her snatch the phone without resistance, feeling his scalp go numb.

That damn entity… really wasn't going to stop until every part of him was revealed to the world, huh?

He immediately turned on the LCD TV to see which Servant this new exposé was about.

Kirina gasped,

"'The Oldest King'—that should be Gilgamesh, right? What's the connection between him and the 'Nameless'?"

She had all the Servant data memorized better than her schoolwork.

The recently excavated clay tablets had recorded the relevant stories.

When the video opened, the beginning was still that familiar—

[Chronicles of the Nameless Heroic Spirit!]

[No one knows your name, but your deeds shall live on forever!]

"Tch. If this keeps up, I will become known all across the world…"

Sanjiro was extremely speechless.

That damn Alaya clearly intended to fully expose him and rebuild him as the most legendary Nameless in mythology.

Does this mean… another catastrophe is coming?

The Land of Steel?

Or the Moon Cell?

Sanjiro suddenly felt a pain in his liver.

After fighting so hard for so long… he was going to be dragged back to the battlefield again?

Please… just let me rest!

As those thoughts ran through his head, the screen filled with endless live chat comments—

AlphaSigma-[FIRST!!!]

CatEarsPrincess-[Holy crap, Alaya's really grinding these updates out—didn't waste a second!]

Blorbo-[You lazy bums better take notes. Lookin' at you, @CatEarsPrincess!]

YaoiBreed-['The Oldest King'... sounds like Gilgamesh. Wait, is there BL tension between him and Nameless?! J-just imagining it, makes me so bleeeep!]

ICastFart-[No way. With Heroic King's arrogance, there's no way he'd even acknowledge anyone else.]

AlmightyMiddleFinger-[Hope the King lasts longer this time. Don't let Nameless insta-conquer him again!]

Uruk.

Inside the luxurious royal palace—

The captain of the guards rushed in and carefully reported, "Your Majesty, Alaya has released another video. It appears to concern you."

"That pitiful Nameless Hero dares think he can befriend this king? Utterly laughable!" Gilgamesh chuckled lightly. "If you dare stand before me, you'll do nothing but kneel and worship!"

Like watching a clown, trying to perform in front of royalty beyond his comprehension.

As the oldest Heroic King, his pride was absolute.

So absolute, he dared to challenge even the gods.

"Very well. Let this king see how you plan to amuse me!"

Leaning his chin on his right hand, Gilgamesh revealed a delighted smirk. "Summon the ministers—we'll enjoy this king's unmatched brilliance together in the grand hall!"
