Hwan found himself staring at Nina more than he intended to.
Her posture was stiff, her shoulders drawn close, and not once had she looked him in the eye since sitting down.
It was strange.
Usually, fans couldn't stop gawking at him, asking questions, or sneaking pictures.
But Nina had remained quiet, respectful—even when awkward—and somehow that made her stand out more than any screaming fan ever had.
Her words replayed in his head:
'I don't want to bother you.'
They hadn't seemed like empty politeness.
In fact, they'd sounded sincere. When was the last time someone cared about his comfort without needing something in return?
Even his fans—bless their enthusiasm—tended to ignore his requests. When he said he was tired or needed space, they pushed closer.
But Nina? She was trying to keep her distance. And that made Hwan want to pull her closer just to figure out why.
