Chapter 6
POV: Li Yun
The morning sun filtered through the open windows of Li Mei's home, a soft breeze carrying along the scent of herbs that were being brewed by her.
Meanwhile, after waking up, I propped up my cross and started my daily prayer to God.
"Oh God, guide this son of Yours in the days to come, as You witness the glory I shall bestow upon Thee..."
I prayed, feeling Li Mei's gaze on me, filled with curiosity. But I didn't give it any mind—although I had shown her some of God's grace last night, I still wasn't as good at converting others as Master Elias.
And after a few minutes of praying, I opened my eyes and stood up, calling out to Li Mei.
"Mei, I'll be going now."
Hearing me say that caused her to panic a bit as she asked, worried,
"Wait! You're still not well. Look at your right arm, it's still shaking nonstop!"
She said as she pointed towards my right arm. Looking at my trembling limb, I just shook my head and said,
"It's okay, I can manage. I still have a ton of things to do."
I hung the cross on my neck. After fixing up my clothes, I looked at her—and seeing her worry for me made me smile.
"Well then, why don't you come with me? I could introduce you to my master so that he can teach you the brilliance of God. How does that sound?"
I asked with a smile, quite excited at finally getting another believer of God. Since these last years under Master's teachings, my family had been the only ones he'd been able to convert—no one else, even with all the good we've done for the masses.
We've never had anyone truly interested in our God.
"Oh, your master?"
She asked curiously.
"Yes, my master—the one who opened my eyes to God's greatness."
I said with a smile, though what I truly felt was only guilt toward my master, for what I'd done to him.
'But I'm not a child anymore. I can make my own choices—and God approved of it. My way is right. I'll make him realize it.'
As I thought that, my expression turned resolute, fully determined to follow this path of mine to the very end.
When suddenly someone bumped into me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Hey, watch where you're goi... Oh, if it isn't one of the freaks of the city."
The one who bumped into me said in ridicule. I recognized him—one of the other students from my studies who constantly harassed and ridiculed me.
My anger surged just by looking at his face, but then suddenly, Li Mei tugged at my shirt to calm me down—and it worked. I breathed in to steady myself.
I looked at him calmly, this lost lamb of God.
"I am God's child. No one is different in His eyes, for we are all His children. As such, we are all equal. If one calls another by names, just know that you too are calling yourself that."
I said calmly in a serene tone, making Li Mei giggle at my obvious remark toward him.
The lost lamb, hearing this, turned red in embarrassment upon hearing Li Mei laugh at him.
Then, in a fit of anger—
"Bitch, don't laugh at me!"
He rolled his fist back to punch Li Mei. Seeing this, my body moved on its own, and in a flash, my fist struck his face with a sickening crunch.
He flew back into a crowd of people, crashing into them and causing a scene.
Seeing this, I quickly grabbed Li Mei in my arms and, in a surprising feat of strength, jumped high until I reached the roof of a two-story building—shocking even myself.
"What the? Why am I suddenly so strong?"
I asked out loud, but suddenly I heard yelling from where we were just before.
"Ahh! Young master, who did this to you?! Guards! Find out who did this and break every bone in his body!"
Hearing this was my signal to leave, and I quickly jumped from building to building, heading toward my home while carrying Li Mei, whose face was currently as red as a tomato.

**POV: ???**
My form slithered through the skies of the city. From my eyes, all I saw were different shades of colors representing the sins one has committed—and from my point of view:
"Everything is so beautiful."
Like an abstract painting, everything was a shade of every color—it made me giddy with joy.
After flying around for a bit, my form then withered away as my gaze suddenly shifted into a building. My fog-like form and humanoid body were currently seated upon a chair, and in front of me, a man knelt.
My menacing smile, as well as glowing red eyes, were the only thing he could see—other than my unseeable body.
I then opened my mouth and said to the man in front of me,
"You... You're a magnificent piece of art. I see everything in you. You are filled with sin."
My voice was smooth, as if one would want to follow whatever it commanded. I looked at his sweating form.
"I like you. You'll be a great asset to me."
I said in amusement as his body trembled—probably from the dark energy I emitted with every word I spoke.
*Chuckling*
I chuckled at his trembling figure, then stood up and arrived in front of him.
He flinched upon seeing me so close. I kneeled to his level and propped up his chin to make him look at me—my form glitching from the aura going haywire.
As I said this:
"Why don't we make a deal?"
---
You might have noticed some mistakes here and there, since I'm trying to lessen the use of AI and just going with the flow of things and not adding anymore prompt like make it more menacing more epic or something like that
Anyways I hope that it isn't that much of a problem anyways I hope you enjoyed the chapter
