Kurohane strode quickly towards the transparent window, pointing at a spaceship now streaking through Earth's atmosphere. Even in the darkness of the universe, the sparks from friction with the air were still clearly visible to the naked eye!
"Look, there it is. It looks very fast and it's cutting through the atmosphere!" Kurohane exclaimed.
Nick Fury also rushed to Kurohane's side, staring at the dazzling sparks and falling silent for a moment. It seemed that after his previous warning to the Skrulls, they still didn't take him seriously! There were still many Skrulls secretly causing trouble behind his back. Kurohane was right, these technologically advanced aliens were a ticking time bomb for Earth. In the ambitious Skrulls' eyes, Earth was just a 'ready-made' planet; there was no easier place than to integrate directly with Earth!
Nick Fury immediately cursed loudly, pulling out his pistol and preparing to act. "Damn it! Are there really Skrulls who aren't afraid of death?!"
"Hey! If you can't give me a weapon, can you at least give me a set of clothes?" Kurohane pleaded, restraining Fury's intentions. "If this battleship explodes or I get shot, I don't want to die with a naked butt!"
Kurohane tightly held the towel wrapped around his waist with one hand, while the other gripped Nick's clothes. He quickly put on the clothes Nick Fury gave him, which turned out to be a Skrull combat suit. As for weapons, Nick Fury consciously handed over the pistol on his body to Kurohane. He himself casually picked up a steel pipe—yes, just one disassembled from the battleship—as a weapon.
The two crawled towards the battleship's control room. The medical bay where Kurohane had been was the furthest distance from the control room. If it weren't for Nick guiding the way like a living map, it would be difficult for an ordinary person to find their way. Kurohane was fine, but Nick Fury became increasingly worried as they walked. Even when they both walked openly in the corridor, not a single Skrull appeared. It was as if this battleship had turned into a ghost ship. Besides the two of them, no other sounds could be heard!
"Wait a minute, there's someone ahead," Kurohane, who was leading the way, raised his clenched fist, signaling Nick, who was walking behind, to stop. Nick Fury didn't know, but Kurohane saw the entire situation of the battleship clearly through his Super Vision. A large group of Skrulls blocked the corner of the corridor ahead, seemingly also hiding from danger! They didn't even carry any weapons in their hands. It looked like a large group of women and children? They continuously tried to open the door to the weapons storage room, but no matter how they tried, they couldn't open it. Storing their weapons and preparing.
Kurohane looked back at Nick Fury with a strange expression, then whispered, "Are Skrulls carbon-based life forms? Do they also get pregnant and give birth?"
"Why are you suddenly saying this?" Nick Fury looked confused. What Kurohane said now was very random and hard to digest.
"Because I found a large group of other female and child Skrulls hiding there, seemingly avoiding something," Kurohane replied, pointing.
"Where?!" Nick Fury immediately straightened up, then looked in the direction Kurohane pointed. Sure enough, he found a large group of green-skinned, pointed-eared Skrulls, staring at the two of them with frightened eyes. Kurohane examined these Skrulls for a moment, found that they were not carrying any weapons, and then put away his own weapon.
"Nick?!" The female Skrull leader found Nick Fury in front of her familiar, stepped forward, and hugged Nick. "An evil Earthling has attacked our spaceship and directly taken over our battleship. Now the Earthling is in the spaceship's control room, seemingly stealing our research results!"
"What?!" Only then did Nick Fury realize the seriousness of the problem. Originally, the Skrulls were his trump card. But now his trump card had been discovered by other Earthlings. This was no laughing matter!
Kurohane stood beside him, looking at the somewhat anxious Nick Fury, and said slowly, "See, what did I tell you? If I can find this kind of thing, others can too. The Skrulls are a huge ticking time bomb for Earth. Getting rid of them quickly is the best option!"
The Skrulls who heard Kurohane say this showed anger in their eyes, glaring at Kurohane. However, Kurohane showed not the slightest fear. Instead, he stared back at them one by one. After all, with Super Vision in hand, he wouldn't even blink for three days and three nights!
Nick's large bald head thought frantically, and he subconsciously pulled out the pager in his hand. His pager could only contact one person, Captain Marvel Carol! After Kurohane's direct and amazing gaze intimidated the Skrulls, he reached out and stopped Nick Fury's action. This small problem didn't require calling Captain Marvel! The main thing was, if Captain Marvel came, how would I get Justice Points?!
"Let's take a look first. You old spy, why are you so impatient!" Kurohane pulled out his pistol and continued to move towards the control room. Nick Fury hesitated for a moment, but still chose to follow Kurohane's lead.
Kurohane found that the entire spaceship's internal system didn't seem to be controlled by that outsider. At best, all systems were completely paralyzed. Even the battleship's internal warning system wasn't triggered. In other words, this intruder had some technical skills, but their skills weren't very strong?
When Kurohane and Nick Fury secretly slipped out of the control room, the control room door was tightly closed. This door was made of unknown material, and it surprisingly blocked Super Vision's X-ray vision! For a moment, Kurohane was also confused. He could only turn back and communicate with Nick using tactical hand gestures.
"Can you open this door?"
"I can only try!" Nick also returned Kurohane's gesture, indicating that he could try. Now, the entire ship, from the inside out, showed a strange atmosphere. This door had never been closed before. Now, he could only try to see if his iris verification still worked!
Nick slowly walked towards the iris scanner, then extended his right eye towards it. He found that the scanner didn't react at all, only silently lighting up a red light. Helpless, Nick had to lift the eyepatch on his left eye again, revealing his other eye!
Beep!
Accompanied by a cold mechanical sound, Nick's verification finally succeeded. The tightly closed control room door also slowly opened, and Kurohane quickly entered, pointing the dark muzzle of his gun at the only humanoid figure standing in the control room!
"FBI investigation! Hands up!"
