Chapter 33 - DULK: Chapter 33

Though it sounded absurd and unbelievable, there was no other explanation. Arthas seemed to have brought Bete, a Level 5 adventurer, to the brink of death.

After Loki said this, she saw Hestia's surprised expression, but she wasn't interested in teasing her rival. She was more interested in how Arthas had done this.

"Young man, can I see your stats? Just take off your shirt. Don't worry; I won't hurt you or do anything strange."

Loki said this in a suggestive tone. Hestia, recovering from her surprise, protectively stood in front of Arthas.

"Loki, you know it's forbidden to check someone else's Familia member's stats, right?"

"Of course, I know! That's why I'm asking for his permission. Otherwise, I'd just rip his clothes off."

Loki shrugged.

"Even if you're asking, I'll refuse. Don't even think about it."

Hestia said righteously, and Loki pouted.

"What? It's just looking at stats. Why are you so stingy?"

Loki grumbled, and Hestia proudly crossed her arms.

"Humph, I know what you're thinking. Forget it. Arthas's strong and beautiful back belongs only to me!"

"What?! Ais-chan's back is far smoother and more beautiful. I'm not interested in a man's back!"

Loki scoffed, only to be choked by Ais Wallenstein.

"Hey, hey! Let's talk! Don't use violence, Ais-chan! You'll kill me! You'll really kill me!"

A crisp cracking sound, and the world fell silent.

Loki slumped from Ais Wallenstein's grasp, making Hestia's eyes twitch.

My Arthas is so much better. Obedient, considerate, and would never do something like that.

"Can't stats be shown to others?"

Arthas asked curiously, looking at Ais Wallenstein. He hadn't known this before; Ais Wallenstein hadn't thought much of it when she asked.

"Of course! Stats are an adventurer's biggest secret and trump card! What if someone found out? It's not just stats; there are magic, skills… these are important to adventurers."

Hestia said this, and Arthas looked at Ais Wallenstein with hurt eyes. Ais Wallenstein avoided his gaze.

"I've noticed! You've been flirting with Ais-chan! Riveria Ljos Alf is one thing, but are you trying to get Ais-chan too?! Stop it, or I'll make you regret it!"

"What do you mean Arthas is flirting with Ais-chan?! That blonde is flirting with Arthas! You thin Goddess, don't twist things!"

"You're looking for a fight, aren't you?!"

"Ha, who's afraid of who! I'll teach you a lesson!"

"I'll tear your mouth apart!"

"Here we go again…"

Riveria Ljos Alf facepalmed, watching the Goddesses fight again.

"Let's go save him. Arthas, can you?"

Ais Wallenstein looked hopefully at Arthas, who looked at Riveria Ljos Alf.

He only wanted to help Riveria Ljos Alf. If she forgave him, he'd save Bete.

"We're all Familia members. Even if his words were harsh, I wouldn't kill him. This punishment is enough. I hope you can forgive him too."

"Bete isn't usually like this… he might have lost control."

Ais Wallenstein sighed, knowing she was the cause. Her beauty attracted suitors, and her ambiguous responses to Bete's advances led to misunderstandings.

The somewhat simple-minded girl hadn't taken it seriously, but Bete had.

"Talk to him when he wakes up. Reject him directly. Bete isn't persistent."

Riveria Ljos Alf patted Ais Wallenstein's shoulder. She looked at Arthas, her expression changing.

Speaking of persistence… he was persistent. He didn't consider others' feelings, pursuing her relentlessly.

Riveria Ljos Alf showed a coquettish expression only seen in women in love.

The fleeting emotion was unnoticed. Riveria Ljos Alf resumed her elegant demeanor.

"Let's go, Arthas. Bete's in danger; the frostbite could leave complications."

"I understand. Since Riveria Ljos Alf is willing to forgive him."

Arthas nodded, leaving with Riveria Ljos Alf and Ais Wallenstein, ignoring the fighting Goddesses.

"Hey, brat, stay away from my Ais-chan!"

"What?! Your Ais-chan should stay away from my Arthas!"

The Goddesses, still bickering, chased after them.
