Chapter 46 - Chapter 046: The Infected Ones

After brushing off matters concerning the clan, Satori Hyūga made his way back to his assembly warehouse.

This was, after all, his current financial lifeline. He often came by just to check in and ensure everything remained secure.

Of course, with Might Guy around, danger was usually minimal.

Even an elite Jonin wouldn't necessarily gain any advantage trying to sneak in on Guy.

The Eight Gates were always ready to open, freeing Guy from his usual constraints and giving him greater initiative.

Being able to activate the Eight Gates at will also significantly lessened the physical toll it took.

As he approached the warehouse entrance, he heard loud, passionate shouting from inside.

Something about youthful fire and extolling the glory of youth—it fit Guy perfectly, nothing out of the ordinary.

What surprised Satori, however, was that besides Guy, several other familiar voices joined in.

They sounded like the young boys from the Hyūga Clan.

"No way… No way… Did they actually get infected too?"

Pushing the door open, Satori immediately laid eyes on a rather shocking sight.

The Hyūga youths, somehow without him noticing, had started dressing exactly like Guy—in bright green spandex suits.

From their once refined, pretty-boy image, they'd become something straight out of a comedy sketch—a group of outright perverts.

Witnessing this, Satori's lips twitched slightly—he barely kept his face composed.

"What is this…?"

Upon seeing Satori arrive, Guy instantly rushed over, excitedly greeting him.

"Boss! Look at our new uniforms! So full of energy! So bursting with youth! How about getting one for yourself too?"

Saying that, he pulled out another green jumpsuit from behind his back.

"This outfit is light, breathable, and flexible—perfect for training Taijutsu."

"In fact, everyone chose it specifically for their body training!"

He said proudly, turning around to show Satori the rest of the people dressed in green spandex.

The Branch House boys looked visibly embarrassed, avoiding direct eye contact with Satori.

They feared that as a Main House member, Satori would scold them for their ridiculous attire.

But Satori didn't.

His lips twitched again, and he quickly declined Guy's offer.

"No thanks—you just focus on your training."

"I'm currently researching Ninjutsu and conducting scientific studies—I don't have time to wear that and work out."

"You can wear it during training, but avoid walking around the compound in it. The elders are elderly—they might not survive the sight."

Satori had no desire to see the entire Hyūga compound shift from traditional black-and-white kimono-wearing members to an army of green-clad spandex enthusiasts.

Even though he practiced Taijutsu himself, he still felt the green spandex wasn't right for him.

He preferred loose athletic clothing much more.

The boys gave awkward smiles and nodded repeatedly.

"We'll keep them covered inside the compound—no hint of green shows until we start training," Chonghuo Hyūga explained.

They weren't unaware that the outfits looked rather strange.

Might Guy had displayed incredible strength, and he kept insisting that wearing the green jumpsuit could boost one's strength.

When someone this strong says something, there must be some truth to it.

That was why the group collectively decided to give it a shot.

However, most of the kids cared about their image and put on a formal act around outsiders, though they didn't actually dress like that.

Only during training sessions in the warehouse did they finally let go of their inhibitions.

Only Might Guy remained completely carefree, smiling happily as if every taunt directed at him was encouragement instead.

His belief in the Ninja Way was unshakable, impervious to doubt.

Unfortunately, his talent wasn't great and his upbringing was humble, or else his ceiling would have been much higher.

Luckily, he met Satori Hyūga. Familiar with the plot, Satori upgraded Guy's living and training conditions.

As long as Guy continued pushing forward with determination and followed rigorous training methods, his strength would surely grow—far beyond what was shown in the original story.

Watching these young boys endure hardships and train diligently, Satori made no attempt to stop or scold them.

Just the fact that they were willing to wear those green jumpsuits showed how resolute they were in their pursuit of strength.

Training under Might Guy meant gaining real results—and ultimately benefiting themselves.

As a Main House member, along with being their teacher and boss, Satori knew they would naturally become loyal to him.

"If they're all wearing green jumpsuits to get stronger, I shouldn't fall too far behind either."

"If my subordinates surpass me, that'll be embarrassing."

After leaving the warehouse, Satori thought for a while and decided to undergo intense training himself.

He wasn't like those idle nobles in the Main House who lived off their titles.

Though he outwardly appeared humble and kind, inwardly he was fiercely proud.

As someone who had crossed over from another world, even if he wouldn't dare challenge a Kage or rival a Daimyo directly, he certainly wouldn't allow himself to be surpassed by his peers.

Especially now that the Eight Gates had been refined—the damage caused by Opening Gate significantly reduced, without draining as much life energy.

There was simply no excuse not to train.

"Training is important, but scientific workouts are just as essential. If I design custom fitness equipment, maybe I can double my efficiency."

"I remember some gym machines from my previous life. They should still work. Just double the weight and resistance."

Satori sketched out some exercise equipment from his past life and ordered custom-built versions for himself.

These days, he had sold quite a few massage chairs—he had no shortage of money anymore.

Many merchants came looking for him, hoping to obtain distribution rights.

So for him, anything that could be solved with money was just a small matter.

Activating the Eight Gates, especially the Opening Gate, was essentially about repeatedly surpassing human limits and breaking past physical endurance.

In the original series, when Might Guy and Might Kai trained, they ran around Konoha, did squats and frog jumps.

It wasn't that such training was ineffective—it was simply too slow.

Ninjas possessed tremendous strength and regeneration abilities, meaning reaching their physical limit required dozens, even hundreds of laps.

Satori didn't have time to wait that long.

And he definitely didn't want to run around Konoha like a monkey being pointed at and laughed at.

Importing a treadmill from his past life for training was far more efficient than outdoor running.

There was also the matter of choosing specific equipment to train particular body parts.

[Weightlifting], [Squats], [Bench Presses]...

Back in his previous life, gyms were full of countless types of equipment; if he could just replicate them here, physical training would become incredibly easy.

However, what Satori Hyūga desired most was the gravity chamber from Dragon Ball.

[Earth Release: Heavy Weight Rock Technique] — a Ninjutsu from Iwagakure — could increase an object's weight, achieving an effect similar to gravity manipulation.

The Rinnegan and Tenseigan also exhibited similar powers of repulsion and attraction.

Unfortunately, at this point, Satori had no way of obtaining any of them.

[Earth Release: Heavy Weight Rock Technique] was a signature jutsu of The Third Tsuchikage and would not be easily shared with outsiders.

Especially considering Satori belonged to the Hyūga Clan of Konoha.

As for the Rinnegan and Tenseigan, they were even less attainable.

For all anyone knew, Madara Uchiha might not have even awakened the Rinnegan yet.

As for the Tenseigan, it was even less attainable — after all, who could reach the moon from the earth? Satori currently lacked the ability to travel there.

Perhaps there was a connection between his clan and the Ōtsutsuki of the moon, but Satori had no way of accessing that knowledge at the moment.

Satori knew his strength was still too weak to take control of such matters. For now, he could only grow quietly in the shadows.
