Chapter 11 - Episode 11 :- Train Journey

INT. ABANDONED VILLAGE HIDEOUT – EARLY MORNING

The sun casts long shadows as Lucy packs equipment. Khan tightens the straps on his backpack. Phantom watches quietly, wearing a hood.

LUCY:

"Time to leave this ghost village. We've got a bigger monster to find."

PHANTOM:

"He's not a monster. Not like the others…"

Khan nods silently, eyes focused, now far more composed than before. He grabs a map and circles a dense green zone in Uttar Pradesh.

KHAN:

"We trace all news reports of unexplained disappearances… And they all point here. Gorakhpur. Near a jungle that locals refuse to name."

---

EXT. TRAIN – MOVING ACROSS COUNTRYSIDE – DAY

The trio sits in a quiet compartment. The sound of tracks clicking. A still tension floats in the air.

LUCY (breaking silence):

"Do you know the forest has become a ghost story now? Villagers say people vanish. Hunters go in... never come back."

Khan leans forward, a slight smirk.

KHAN:

"I heard it too. Some say... a monster lives there."

Phantom remains still for a moment… then speaks with uncharacteristic softness.

PHANTOM:

"He's not a monster. His name is Bhola."

Khan and Lucy turn to him, intrigued.

PHANTOM (continuing):

"When we were young… he used to talk to squirrels. He'd cry if someone even stepped on ants. While the rest of us were scared, angry, broken… Bhola just wanted to love."

---

FLASHBACK – LAB MEMORY

A small, chubby, soft-faced boy — Bhola, around 10 — smiles as birds perch on his shoulder inside the lab's glass garden chamber.

Dr. Vikrant watches him from a lab window. Cold. Calculating.

DR. VIKRANT (to assistants):

"He's emotionally pure… but utterly naïve. Let's see what happens when you give a sheep the power of a bear."

Metal tubes pierce Bhola's back. His face contorts in pain. He roars — the roar echoes across the lab like a beast awakening.

---

BACK TO TRAIN – PRESENT

PHANTOM (grimly):

"Vikrant altered him. Injected him with animal DNA. Enhanced strength. Durability. But more than that… instincts."

LUCY (frowning):

"What kind of instincts?"

PHANTOM:

"The protective kind. He doesn't attack for power or violence. He attacks to guard his jungle. His family. That's why hunters never return."

Khan looks out the window. Trees blur by.

KHAN (quietly):

"Then we can't go in ready to fight him."

PHANTOM:

"No. We go in as friends… or we die like strangers."

---

EXT. GORAKHPUR STATION – NIGHT

A dusty platform. Dim lights flickering. The train screeches to a stop. A chill hangs in the air as the three step off.

A distant hooting of an owl echoes.

LUCY (uneasy):

"It feels like we're being watched."

KHAN (grinning):

"We are. The jungle knows we're coming."

EPISODE 11: "The Shadow in the Train"

---

EXT. TRAIN – NIGHT – MOVING THROUGH FORESTED ZONE

Wind howls past the windows as the train glides through a dark stretch. The moon is half-lit. Inside the last coach, Khan, Lucy, and Phantom sit alert. Something feels off.

INT. TRAIN COACH – CONTINUOUS

Khan's breath shortens. His hand trembles slightly.

Suddenly, his pupils shrink.

KHAN (whispers):

"…She's here."

A snap! echoes inside his mind. Shurya bursts forth in a blink.

SHURYA (growling):

"Someone's watching us. No scent… no sound… but I feel her!"

Shurya suddenly strikes the air with a brutal punch — and sparks erupt mid-air. The air shimmers like water.

PHANTOM (alarmed):

"Wait—That's—!"

He raises his hand and discharges a low-voltage electric pulse into the air.

With a blue-white crackle, water around a shape flickers—revealing GANGA. Drenched, barefoot, grinning wide—her eyes sparking like lightning.

---

INT. TRAIN COACH – THE FIGHT IGNITES

Without a word, Ganga lunges forward—pure force, no hesitation.

GANGA (snarling):

"You think you can run from me?"

She delivers a brutal roundhouse that slams Shurya into the coach wall. Steel dents. The train wobbles.

Phantom charges with a two-fisted lightning strike, but Ganga grabs him mid-attack and hurls him through the row of seats, his body crashing into Lucy, who's just drawn her pistol.

LUCY (coughing):

"She's a freaking tank—!"

Ganga advances, bloodlust in her eyes.

---

INT. KHAN'S MIND – FRACTURED CONSCIOUSNESS

Khan is lost inside, swirling in white. Two chairs—Captain and Veer—glow in the mist. Captain stands, adjusting his glasses and robot by his side.

CAPTAIN (calmly):

"This is chaos… Not Shurya's game. My turn."

He touches Khan's shoulder. Suddenly—Khan's body stabilizes, and Captain takes control.

Ganga lunges again—but this time Khan side-steps with precision. Calm. Controlled.

CAPTAIN (smirking):

"Still fighting like a puddle, Ganga."

Ganga freezes. Her fists clench.

GANGA:

"…Captain."

CAPTAIN:

"I see you still spark when you're angry. Or is it guilt?"

Ganga's lightning cracks around her, but something falters in her eyes.

CAPTAIN (taunting):

"Remember Bhola's garden? The birds? The rabbits? How you electrocuted them for fun?"

Ganga's rage surges—but so does confusion.*

CAPTAIN (pressing on):

"And how Bhola cried… tried to save them. But you didn't stop, did you? I was the one who talked to him. Made him forgive you."

Ganga snarls, stepping back—her breath ragged.

---

INT. TRAIN – ESCAPE EXECUTED

Taking the emotional pause, Lucy grabs Phantom, who's now recovered, and gestures.

LUCY:

"Now, Captain!"

Captain throws a gadget—a micro bomb—to the rear connector of the coach.

A controlled blast erupts.

The team dives forward into the next coach just as the rear is engulfed in sparks and water vapor.

Ganga roars inside, blocked off by flames and debris.

The three crawl onto the roof for safety, gulping air.

PHANTOM (catching breath):

"She's… too strong."

CAPTAIN (smiling):

"But she bleeds. And now… she doubts."

LUCY:

"We bought time. Nothing more."

Khan slowly regains his original self as Captain fades back.

KHAN (panting):

"…Then let's use that time. We find Bhola. We finish this."

In the flaming remains of the coach, Ganga stands. Smoke rising. Lightning dancing around her fingers. Her grin is gone. Her eyes are cold.

GANGA (whispers):

"Bhola… Khan… I'm coming."

Deep inside the jungle… glowing animal eyes peer from shadows. Heavy breathing. A massive shape, part human, part beast, moves soundlessly.

A small bird lands on the creature's shoulder. It chirps once. The creature — Bhola — smiles gently… then disappears into the darkness.

EXT. EDGE OF THE GORAKHPUR JUNGLE – LATE EVENING

The dense forest ahead looks almost black under the setting sun. Fog curls around ancient trees. Animal cries echo in the distance.

Khan, Lucy, and Phantom stand at the jungle border. Phantom adjusts his coat, eyes locked on the wilderness.

PHANTOM:

"This is it. The last known sighting. After this… no one comes back."

LUCY:

"I hate this place already."

KHAN:

"Let's not lose focus. We're here for Bhola."

They step into the jungle. The world behind disappears into fog.

INT. GORAKHPUR JUNGLE – NIGHTFALL

As they go deeper, signs of destruction start to appear:*

Trees clawed and split in half

Burnt carcasses of wild boars

Claw marks on large rocks

A human skull cracked open by brute force

Lucy grips her gun tighter. Phantom charges his palms with electricity.

LUCY (low whisper):

"This looks like a slaughterhouse."

PHANTOM:

"This is Bhola's work… but something's off. He wasn't like this before."

KHAN:

"What happened to him…?"

INT. CLEARING DEEP IN THE FOREST – MOMENTS LATER

Suddenly, the trees creak. Wind stops. A massive shadow moves between the trees.

CRACK! A giant figure emerges, blood dripping from his claws. Massive build. Hair matted with mud. Eyes glowing faint yellow. Bhola.

He stands still, sniffing the air. Then his eyes lock on Khan. He lets out a growl.

BHOLA (low and thunderous):

"More humans… more meat…"

Lucy and Phantom prepare to attack.

PHANTOM (stepping forward):

"Wait—wait—it's him… it's Bhola."

Bhola steps forward, snarling. The air grows heavier. Khan doesn't move.

KHAN (softly):

"Bhola... it's me. Khan."

A long pause. Bhola freezes. His face shifts—softens. His eyes blink slowly. His lips curve into a goofy, childlike smile.

BHOLA (gentle, warm):

"Brother from another mother… you finally came."

INT. BHOLA'S CAVE – LATER

The group sits around a makeshift fire in a hidden cave near a waterfall. Bhola, now calm and wearing a massive torn jacket, speaks slowly, almost with a child's innocence.

BHOLA:

"Sorry. I don't like strangers. I protect jungle now. But I remember you."

LUCY:

"Why did you attack the hunters? The people?"

BHOLA (looking down):

"They hurt animals. My friends. So I hurt them. I warned them… but they didn't stop."

PHANTOM (whispers):

"He still remembers his core… even after mutation."

Khan stares into the flames, silent. Bhola turns to him and places a huge hand on his shoulder.

BHOLA:

"I was waiting for you. Not just because you're my friend. But because… I have to tell you something."

The air thickens. Bhola's expression turns serious. The fire crackles louder.

BHOLA (intense):

"Khan… it's time you knew your truth."

Khan looks up, eyes wide.

BHOLA:

"Time to tell you… about your origin."

BLACK SCREEN. END.
