Iron Pig swung his tail and flung Lord around. Lord held on thought as Iron Pig waved him like a flag.
He smacked him on the ground and Lord let go. He tilted his head and spat out blood. He got on his knees and started crawling.
Iron Pig wrapped his tail around Lord. He quickly pulled letting Lord spin like a yo-yo.
He groaned when he hit the ground. He grabbed sand and threw it at Iron Pig. He slowly got up and picked up his sword. As Iron Pig struggled to see, Lord climbed up his tail.
He made his way to his head and stabbed Iron Pig in the right eye. Iron Pig flinched and Lord lost his balance. He grabbed onto the sword and dangled at the side of his face.
Iron Pig's scales turned red hot, Lord let go of the sword flames spewed out of Iron Pig's mouth.
Lord picked up his shirt from the ground. Waves had washed over it a couple of times and it was now wet.
He ran toward the sea as Iron Pig chased him. He roared and spewed Greek fire in Lord's direction.
Lord dove into the water and Iron Pig followed. The steam from his quenched flame made it difficult to see. His flames kept burning on top of the water for a while before it died out.
Iron Pig dipped his head into the water.
Immediately he did Lord grabbed him and tried to keep him there. Iron Pig lifted his head but he still struggled to breathe.
He noticed Lord had his shirt over his nose and held shut his mouth. Iron Pig rolled on the ground and ran into rocks but Lord did not let go.
Irom Pig started to feel exhausted, in a last attempt to break free. Iron Pig began to flap his wings. Just as he was off the ground he fell back down.
Lord held his shirt over his face for a while before letting go. He fell on his back and he breathed heavily.
He suddenly screamed thrusting his hips. This happened for a while before he calmed down. He passed out immediately after.
A white vapour-looking substance rose from Iron Pig's mouth. It slowly traveled directly into the Lord's mouth.
Lord coughed as he choked on it, and regained consciousness.
Back at High Castle, Sabrus quickly flew to the wreckage. He looked and with his X-ray vision, he saw Maude and Blue IV.
Blue IV was trying to burn Maude. Being in an enclosed space, made things difficult. Maude kept crawling into tiny spaces in the wreckage.
Sabrus fazed through the crumbled walls and got to Maude.
"Mom," Laud said and slid down Sabrus' wing. Laud ran to his mother, who was crouched under two fallen walls. They leaned slightly against each other.
As Laud ran toward his mother, Sabrus placed his tail in his way. The moment he did, dust filled the space. Laud coughed and fanned the dust away from him.
As he waved his hand he noticed the Blue IV's leg. It was on his mother's makeshift tent. A pool of blood formed, it turned everything it touched red.
It moved across the floor as it looked for more to turn red. Sabrus pulled Laud back with his tail.
Laud stood there with eyes wide open. Tears kissed his cheeks. Laud jumped over Sabrus' tail and lunged at Blue IV.
When Laud got close enough, Blue IV lifted his leg. Sabrus speared her into the wreckage before she could stomp on Laud.
Sabrus fazed out and left her trapped there. He helped Laud get on his back and fazed out through the wreckage.
Sabrus flew out of there, on his back Laud cried.
"The Raid, what happened to them?"
Sabrus thought and landed in a forest right of Pyre.
"Stay here, I will come back for you. I need to check on your father and the others,"
Sabrus said and took off. Laud stayed in the forest looking at the skies from time to time. Soon he heard voices and he hid behind a tree.
Laud spied to see a man and a woman. It was Markeen and Shaban.
"They are all dead, burnt to char," Shaban said with his head bowed. Shaban and Markeen heard a crunch of breaking twigs. They both pulled out their knives.
Markeen and Shaban split to investigate. Markeen walked over to see Laud hiding behind the tree.
She sheathed her knife.
"It's just a kid," Markeen said and helped Laud down the hill.
"You, I have not seen you before. Where are you from," Shaban asked but Laud did not answer.
"He might be from the castle, maybe a son of a nobleman. We should kill him to send a message," Shaban suggested and Laud hid behind Markeen.
"No, he is not, he is the kid of one of the workers of the castle. Right?"
Markeen said and looked at Laud and he nodded. Shaban sighed.
"Join us, we are going to raid the castle," Shaban extended an invitation to Laud as a way to apologize.
Laud stayed silent for a while before he shook his head. He remembered his mother's death and did not want to relive it. Besides he was to wait for Sabrus there.
"Okay, stay here, we would be back for you,"
Markeen said and she and Shaban continued their climb to the castle.
