1. The Origin Flame
The source of all elemental existence. It predates time and space, and from it emerged the Five Primal Elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Aether. Every elemental practitioner, knowingly or not, channels an echo of the Origin.
2. The Five Elemental Realms
Each element has its own sacred realm, ruled by an Elemental Sovereign:
Terros (Earth): Foundation and endurance
Aqualis (Water): Memory and flow
Ignara (Fire): Passion, destruction, and rebirth
Zephra (Wind): Thought, motion, freedom
Etherion (Aether): The unseen, the connective thread
3. The Path of Cultivation
A structured journey of self-evolution where a mortal cultivator advances through increasingly complex stages:
Mortal Foundation: Physical and spiritual awakening
Essence Gathering: Drawing external elemental energy
Core Awakening: Formation of an elemental core
Elemental Harmony: Resonance with one's chosen element
Soul Manifestation: External projection of elemental soul
Dao Ascension: Understanding of elemental truth
Eternal Sage: Transcendence
4. The Primordial Fracture
A cataclysm that shattered the balance between realms. It created the Veil—a spiritual membrane between dimensions—and birthed Wraiths, void corruption, and unpredictable leylines. Many secrets from before the Fracture remain sealed.
5. The Veil
An invisible threshold separating the Mortal Realm from higher elemental realms. Breaches in the Veil allow ancient forces to bleed through. Surya's Flame interactions have repeatedly disturbed this barrier.
6. The Arcspire
Once a massive channeling tower between realms. It served as both a stabilizer and beacon for elemental balance. After its collapse during the Fracture, its remains became the foundation of the Academy—a hidden institution for advanced elemental study and governance.
7. The Academy / Spiral Sanctum
The true name is Spiral Sanctum of the Five Paths. It trains gifted cultivators, often recruited after being marked by shrines or flame-visions. It exists beyond the sea, accessible only through leylines and sealed waygates. Surya has begun drawing its attention.
8. Flamecallers and Trial Wards
Ancient Flamebearers who mastered origin fire. Trial Wards are remnants of their legacy—automated trials meant to test those with potential for convergence. Surya has activated at least one dormant ward.
9. Wraiths and Possession
When essence is corrupted beyond harmony, it breeds Wraiths. These beings often possess hosts to act in the physical world. The boy Surya saved had been possessed by a fragment of something tied to the masked antagonist.
10. Directional Seals and Leylines
Magical scrolls or maps tuned to ancient energy flows. Used by Seers and old-world cultivators to locate hidden sanctuaries, sealed ruins, or chosen individuals. Surya now holds one, marking his next destination and fate.
