Important Note: There are three different tiers for character. Please read chapter one to understand. I have kept this not too long to avoid much info dump.
This is an Authority granted to MC by his reincarnator. It allows him to use the template of "human" characters from fictional works MC knew from his previous life.
Template includes their powers, skills, combat style, experiences, instincts, and even partial memories. Using a template DOES NOT chamge his appearance, as in taking the looks of that character. He remains himself while gaining traits such as tattoos or markings.
BUT. There are conditions.
This ONLY applies to fictional characters from his previous life.
Only visually depicted works count. So anime, manga, games, TV, movies, etc. Text-based works (like novels, light novels, or even webnovels with art) don't qualify. There needs to be a longform visual format where the character's depiction is clearly shown.
He also can't use characters that he himself created back in his old life. That includes his own OCs, fanfics, whatever. If he made them, they're off-limits.
⸻
Characters he CANNOT pick:
Characters that are no longer truly human. For example, Issei from DxD after becoming a reincarnated devil = not allowed.
Characters who have another sentient non-human being inside them that isn't their own power. Like Naruto having Kurama. That's not him—it's a tailed beast living in him.
Characters that are avatars of gods or incarnations of divine beings. So characters whose actual existence is rooted in them being a god first, then taking human form—those don't count as humans.
⸻
Echo Influence:
The will, mindset, and instincts of the characters influence him SLIGHTLY when he uses them. Around 20% of their personality "bleeds in." It's not enough to overwrite his own morality or take full control, but it might affect slightly how he reacts in the moment.
⸻
Creation Retention Rule:
He CANNOT keep any creations, artifacts, enchantments, etc. made only because of that template's power. If he stops using that character, those creations vanish, stop working, or turn neutral. This only includes Creations that have capabilities of increasing his powers personally. For example:
If a character creates a golem army? Golems lose loyalty once the template ends.
If a character made magic weapons? Those weapons become dead weights.
Mundane stuff like a regular sword stays.
Any cteation made through the use that character's intellect but not powers can stay, such as using Ironman template to create Arc Reactor using materials existing in the world.
He can create planets , stars, or other creations if a character is capable of that and still retain it as its not exactly increasing his personal power in his base state, but he cannot weaponise them.
⸻
Selective Trait Assimilation (Tier 1 Characters only):
He can permanently gain one trait (NOT a power) from a Tier 1 character he has already used. This trait can be physical (like Six Eyes or Toji's physique), but not full power systems. So yes, he can take Gojo's Six Eyes, but not Limitless, since that's a cursed technique — a power, not a trait.
Talents can also be taken, as long as they don't come with innate supernatural abilities. Only one talent per character.
When it comes to mental traits, intelligence and knowledge are not the same. If he chooses Iron Man's intellect, he'll think like Tony — fast, creative, logical — but he won't automatically know how to build the Arc Reactor. That's knowledge, which is separate. Knowledge is everything a character has learned or memorized over time.
