"Miku… Hyuuga Miku." She said, a happy grin slowly appearing on her face as she stood up and looked towards Hinata, "From this day forth, this mighty one shall be known as Miku. The strongest of all. Everyone will bow when they hear my mighty name!"
Hinata giggled at her dramatic words as she said, "Oh mighty Miku, this humble one begs to bask in the presence of one great such as yourself. Please grace this lowly one with your infinite wisdom."
Miku then waved her hand slightly and raised her chin as she stated, "This great one permits you to bask in my presence. You may worship me as you stand by my side."
"I am grateful that the mighty Lady Miku allows a humble being to stay by her side, especially one such as myself. I will strive not to let you down."
"That is the correct attitude to have, you should always strive for improvement, and maybe, one day, you will reach heights similar to my own." Miku stated.
Hinata giggled as she asked, "So how strong are you exactly? Are you the same strength as me since we share the same body?"
"Hmm, well physically I am as strong as you are. However I do not have your skill with the gentle fist style, nor am I inclined to physical fights." Miku explained
"So what kind of fighting style do you prefer to use?" Hinata asked curiously.
"Ah, I would say I fight using Fuinjutsu and Genjutsu, I also like supportive Ninjutsu like the spiritualization technique." Miku listed.
Hinata looked blankly at Miku as she thought to herself, 'She knows a lot more techniques than I do. I only know the gentle fist and I am not that good at it either.'
Miku nodded and explained to Hinata, "That's because although the gentle fist style is used by most Hyuuga's, it is not a technique suitable for your body nor your chakra nature. The normal gentle fist that father tried to teach you is one suitable for those with earth attribute chakra focusing on the connection to the ground and their stability mixed with fluidity."
Miku then summoned another glass of chocolate milk, this time for Hinata to drink. Hinata then glanced at it and asked Miku, "What kind of drink is this? I don't think I've ever had it before."
At that moment it seemed that time had frozen, Miku then slowly turned her head and stared at Hinata, disbelief written all over her face. Tensions rose as Miku sat there staring at Hinata like she had just committed a major war crime.
"WHAT! YOU"VE NEVER HAD CHOCOLATE MILK!" Miku screamed and Hinata covered her ears and looked at Miku doubtfully, not seeing what the big deal was.
"THAT'S SACRILEGE, THAT'S CRAZY, THAT IS JUST SO WRONG!!" Miku continued, "Choccy Milk is the drink of gods. It is the most amazing thing to ever grace any planet, this or any other! The only people allowed to not drink Choccy milk are those deathly allergic to it. Even then it is just so cruel for them to not be able to drink it. You can go many lifetimes never eating or drinking anything, but Choccy milk is a must. I do not know what is wrong with the world. For you to never have drunken Choccy milk is a crime of the highest order." Miku ranted only to continue as Hinata glanced at her weirdly, "This world doesn't deserve to exist, I should just destroy it. If no one has let you drink this divine nectar then the world is already rotten to the core."
Hinata sat there taking the rant in and when she saw that Miku calmed down she softly said, "I don't see what the big deal is."
Miku snapped her head at Hinata and hissed out, "The big deal, THE BIG DEAL. It's like someone coming up to you and telling you that Cinnamon rolls are terrible and they have never eaten one."
At that analogy Hinata froze her mouth wide open in shock and horror as she said, "That, that is just so wrong. I understand what you mean. I apologize for what I said. You were right, that is just something terrible. I can't believe you didn't hit me for that."
Miku took a deep breath in to calm her nerves as she slowly pushed the chocolate milk further into Hinata's hand as she stared at her. Her eyes tell her to drink, drink the nectar of the gods and bask in its magnificence.
Hinata finally caved under the weight of Miku's eyes as she took a sip, and once she did she understood why Miku defended it like that, she too would now start to fight with others, (even with her timid personality outside her mindscape) over such a statement.
After they both calmed down and finished drinking some Choccy milk, the glasses refilled themselves as Miku collected herself and continued her earlier explanation, "Now, while the clan does indeed have variations of the gentle fist for those with different chakra attributes, for reasons unknown to me, he never tried to see why you could never progress with the traditional gentle fist."
"So the reason I didn't progress fast enough, the reason our father was disappointed in me. Is it simply because he never tried to figure out my chakra attributes?" Hinata asked in disbelief.
"That is part of it, another part is your timid personality." Miku briefly explained at which Hinata flinched.
"I-I want to change but i can't" Hinata sniffled slightly in sadness. "However whenever I'm with people I can't help but tremble."
"I know, and I do not wish for you to change just to match the expectations of another, even if that person is our father." Miku pulled her into a hug as she tried to soothe her, to which Hinata slowly calmed down.
"And it was mostly just an oversight on our father's part, you know. Both mother and father are inclined to the earth- attribute. So he just assumed that we were as well. Especially since Hanabi is as well." Miku continued.
"So what exactly is the attribute I'm most inclined to?" Hinata asked, to which Miku just looked at another section on the bookshelf to her left.
Hinata watched as a small booklet flew off the shelf into Miku's hand. She couldn't guess why she had summoned a book instead of just telling her. Or using chakra paper. However when she saw the title of the booklet she understood what her attribute was.
Miku opened the booklet in front of Hinata and explained, "This is a book of Taijutsu created by a Taijutsu master. It is a style that responds to reaction and flow and reacts to an opponent's attacks, whether it be Taijutsu or Ninjutsu, and redirects the force throughout the body back towards the opponent. A practitioner can even redirect attacks way beyond their current strength. I believe it would be a great style for you to practice in. As you can even combine it with the chakra sealing essence of the gentle fist."
Miku took a breath in and finished her explanation while Hinata had a look of awe on her face at the description of the technique, "The name of this Taijutsu style is (Fist of Flowing Water, Crushed Rock). It was made by a great man named Master Bang."
On the first page of the book Hinata saw a scene of the martial art in action, she saw a man in white pants, a black shirt and long, spiky silver hair, get punched in the face by a very muscled man only to redirect the force back towards the man. The moment she saw this scene Hinata felt her blood start to heat up. She wanted this. She NEEDED to learn this.
Miku could already guess what Hinata was feeling just by looking at the excitement and longing on her face. She chuckled as she said to Hinata, "If you wish to learn it you can.""
Hinata snapped to her feet and grabbed Miku's hands in excitement as she demanded, "How!"
Miku stood up and led Hinata to a random wall and as she walked towards it, the bookshelves moved themselves out of the way as a door appeared. The door had an older feel to it, it looked like the door of a dojo she had seen one time as she was walking through the village.
"This here is a room that came when the Library was expanded, this room can take the memory contained inside the book and project it inside for us to experience." Miku stated.
"If that's the case then why can't it directly implant the memory straight into my mind?" Hinata asked with her head tilted in confusion.
"That's because any technique learned that way will not be as effective as if you were to learn it yourself. As you practice any skill or technique, you develop your own understanding of said technique or skill and if you were to just have it directly implanted into your mind, your body would not be able to perform it as smoothly, and your instincts regarding the techniques would not be as strong." Miku told Hinata in a way that was easier to understand.
"I see, then how would I learn the skill? Do I just follow the example shown in the book?" Hinata wondered aloud.
Miku shook her head as she explained, "Not exactly, the room will simulate the practitioners using the memories held in the book. The style of (Fist of Flowing Water, Crushed Rock) will give you two teachers to learn from. One of which is its creator, Bang."
"Then who is the other one I will learn from? Is it the man on the first page of the book?" Hinata asked.
"Yes, it is. First you will learn the basics from Bang, then you will practice against your other teacher. Don't expect it to be easy either. It will be much harder than just learning the gentle fist" Miku stated calmly.
"I am willing. No, I will succeed, I will not give up. I will gain the strength to protect us." Hinata declared, conviction obvious in her tone. She then asked Miku, "Oh yeah, you said I will learn from Mister Bang, so what is the name of the other Mister I will learn from?"
"Oh him? He's a man who couldn't stand his limitations as a human and wanted to become stronger." Miku began dramatically introducing him, " He is a man who turned himself into a monster, a Taijutsu prodigy amongst prodigies.
He is the Hero Hunter, Human Monster, The Wolfman:
Garou!"
