BELLA
"I'm actually surprised too guys, I don't know, it's like something sparked in me, like a fire and I really like it" I say
"I love it" Naomi says
"Did you see her face, I wish I recorded it, but I bet someone did,I should go and ask" Dylan said and Naomi's face changes
"Don't go, you know all this girls will surround you like flies" she says completely jealous.
"Baby, don't be like that, you know I have my eyes only on you" Dylan says.
"Eww, both of you are disgusting, I can smell it on you" I say, although I don't have my wolf, I still have a very sharp nose to smell and ears too which is really rare, but I just pretend like I don't, only Naomi and Dylan knows.
"Get a room guys or should I say bathroom" I say and they both laugh.
"Maybe we will" Dylan says to me, "what do you say baby, how about a quick one in our favorite stall" he says to Naomi.
"Too much content guys" I say covering my ears as we all laugh
"You guys should hurry so you don't miss class" I said and they both look at me
"Who are you and what have you done with Bella Anderson" Naomi says
"Yeah Bels, you're usually the one who tells us to hold it till we get home" Dylan says.
"What can I say guys, my eyes have been opened" I say smiling.
"Well, I love this new eye opening Bella" Dylan says.
"See you in an hour" he says
"You guys will miss class" I say "and what would you be doing for an hour" I asked already regretting my question.
"Well, we could give you deta...." Dylan says
"Nope, I don't want to hear anything, just go please" i say covering my ears "and you both stink" i say wrinkling my nose
They both smile
"Bye bels" they say as I wave them goodbye
Bella sat in class, her eyes fixed on the empty chair next to her. She had always felt like an outsider, a wolfless girl in a world of supernatural creatures. Suddenly, the door swung open and a tall, handsome guy strode in. His piercing blue eyes scanned the room, and Bella felt a jolt as their gazes met.
The guy's eyes locked onto the empty chair next to Bella, and he strode over, his movements confident and fluid. Bella's heart skipped a beat as he sat down, his arm brushing against hers.
"Hi," he said, smiling. "I'm Asher."
Bella's heart fluttered. "I'm Bella," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
Just as Asher was about to say something, a shrill voice interrupted them. "Asher, darling!" Amanda squealed, bouncing over to their table.
Bella's eyes rolled in annoyance. She had never liked Amanda, with her fake smile and manipulative ways.
"Amanda, what do you want?" Asher asked, his voice cold and authoritative.
Amanda's smile faltered for a moment before she recovered. "I was just coming to say hi to my boyfriend," she said, her voice dripping with possessiveness.
Asher's expression turned icy. "Amanda, we broke up weeks ago," he said, his voice firm. "And even when we were together, I told you to address me as Alpha, not Asher."
Amanda's face turned red with anger. "You're just talking to this...this wolfless girl?" she spat. "You can't be serious about her, Asher."
Asher's eyes flashed with anger. "Amanda, I said leave me alone," he growled, his voice low and menacing. "Don't come near me again. And when you do speak to me, it's Alpha, not Asher. You know better than to forget my title."
Amanda's face twisted in rage, but she seemed to realize she was outmatched. With a final glare at Bella, she stormed off.
Asher sat back down, his eyes locked onto Bella's. "Sorry about that," he said, his voice softening. "I guess you know Amanda, huh?"
Bella shook her head, still trying to process what had just happened. "Yeah, I know her," she said. "She's not exactly my favorite person."
Asher chuckled. "I can imagine," he said. "So, where were we? Ah yes, introductions. I'm Asher Blackwood, Alpha of the Nightshade Pack. And I'm glad Amanda didn't scare you off."
Bella's eyes widened slightly. The Nightshade Pack was one of the most powerful packs in the country. She felt a sense of awe wash over her.
Asher's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. "I'm glad to meet you, Bella," he said. "Would you like to grab lunch with me? I think I'd like to get to know you better."
Bella's heart skipped a beat. She'd love to spend more time with Asher. "I'd like that," she said, smiling up at him.
Just as Asher asked Bella to lunch, the lecturer walked into the classroom, a warm smile on his face. "Good morning, everyone. Alpha Asher, it's an honor to have you in our class."
Asher nodded, his eyes never leaving Bella's. "Good morning, Professor. I think we've had enough... discussion for today, don't you?"
The lecturer's eyes flickered to Bella, then back to Asher, and he nodded understandingly. "Ah, yes. I think we've covered enough material for today. Class is dismissed."
The students looked at each other in surprise, but Asher's authority was not to be questioned. They quickly gathered their belongings and filed out of the classroom, casting curious glances at Bella and Asher.
As the classroom emptied, Asher turned to Bella and smiled. "I guess that works out perfectly. Shall we grab that lunch I mentioned?"
Bella nodded, feeling a sense of excitement. "I'd love to."
Asher stood up, his movements fluid and confident. "Great. Let's go."
Bella followed him out of the classroom, feeling a sense of wonder. She had never felt such a strong connection with someone before. And Asher's alpha status only added to his allure.
As they were about to walk out of the classroom, Asher turned to her and smiled. "So, what do you say we grab some lunch at that new café downtown?"
Bella's heart skipped a beat. "Sounds perfect," she said, smiling up at him.
Naomi and Dylan burst into the classroom, their eyes scanning the room frantically until they spotted Bella and Asher standing by the door. They had heard the rumors, of course - who hadn't? - but seeing it with their own eyes was a different story altogether.
Naomi's eyes widened in shock as she took in the scene before her. Bella, her best friend who had always thought was an outsider, was standing beside Alpha Asher, looking like she belonged there. Dylan's eyes were equally wide, his mouth hanging open in surprise.
Bella, oblivious to her friends' shock, smiled at them. "Hey, guys! What's up?"
Naomi and Dylan exchanged a stunned glance. Naomi was the first to recover, her face breaking out into a huge grin. "Bella, what's going on?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Asher chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I think your friends are a bit surprised to see us together," he said, his voice low and amused.
Dylan shook his head, still looking stunned. "Surprised doesn't even begin to cover it, Alpha," he said, his voice full of wonder.
Bella laughed, feeling a sense of excitement. "Let's grab lunch and I'll fill you in on everything," she said, smiling at her friends.
Naomi and Dylan exchanged another glance, this one full of excitement and curiosity. They nodded in unison, and the four of them headed out of the classroom, bound for the café downtown.
As they walked, Naomi turned to Bella and whispered, "Spill the beans, girl. What's going on with you and the Alpha?"
Bella smiled, feeling a sense of happiness she hadn't felt in a long time. "He just came and sat near me in class and also let's just say I'm really interested in getting to know him better," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Naomi's eyes sparkled with excitement. "We're going to get all the details, Bella," she said, her voice full of promise.
Bella laughed, feeling a sense of anticipation. She knew her friends would be full of questions, and she was happy to share her story with them.
