Chapter 51 - All Men Love Black Stockings

Chapter 51 – All Men Love Black Stockings

"Smart move, A-Biao. Once we're out of this mess, I won't forget what you did for me!"

Zhang Mingyuan laughed heartily as he led a few of his henchmen into A-Biao's camp.

But A-Biao and his crew had been so hungry, they'd already started eating other survivors—how could there be any supplies left in the camp?

He only said that to lure Zhang Mingyuan and his men in.

As soon as they entered, A-Biao's expression turned vicious. With a murderous glare, he shouted,

"Kill them!"

His men didn't hesitate for a second. Gripping their weapons tightly, they rushed at Zhang Mingyuan's group!

Zhang Mingyuan and his men never expected such a sudden and brutal betrayal from A-Biao.

Before they could even react, they were met with a barrage of deadly blows!

Amid screams of agony, Zhang Mingyuan and his crew collapsed to the ground, blood pouring out of their bodies.

Xiao Mei, who was standing off to the side, was completely dumbfounded.

She really thought A-Biao had invited Zhang Mingyuan in to curry favor with him.

But in the blink of an eye, they were slaughtered right before her eyes!

Though she had witnessed killings before, seeing Zhang Mingyuan—someone she thought was untouchable—die like that made her go pale with fear.

"Biao… Biao-ge, w-we… why did we kill Young Master Zhang…?"

"I felt like killing him. Got a problem with that?"

A-Biao grinned, showing his sharp, yellowed teeth.

Xiao Mei's scalp tingled at the sight. She quickly waved her hands and forced a nervous smile.

"N-no problem at all!"

"You lot, get rid of their bodies."

A-Biao barked an order to his men, who began dragging away the corpses.

He himself returned to a nearby sedan and let out a long sigh.

During this hellish heatwave apocalypse, the ruthless beast inside A-Biao had fully awakened.

Zhang Mingyuan had the nerve to provoke him? That was asking to die.

Besides, he'd been duped by Liu Ling'er and failed to obtain any supplies.

The bodies of the earlier survivors had already been consumed.

If he wanted to live, he'd need to find more survivors—and kill them.

Zhang Mingyuan coming to his door today was like prey walking right into a predator's jaws. How could A-Biao possibly let him go?

As for whether this apocalypse would end or not, A-Biao had already made peace with that.

If Su Chen wasn't afraid, then why the hell should he be?

If the world did return to normal, and law and order were restored, well… he'd die alongside Su Chen. Big deal.

But if the apocalypse dragged on, then he had even less to fear.

With that thought, A-Biao lowered his head and began inspecting his wounds.

Though he'd barely escaped the burning warehouse with his life, several areas of his body had suffered severe burns—his injuries were horrific.

"Hiss…"

He rinsed the wounds with water, and the intense pain made him suck in a sharp breath.

Luckily, it had started pouring outside. Otherwise, he'd never have wasted drinkable water on washing wounds.

Even so, without proper medical treatment, an infection would mean certain death.

Originally, A-Biao had planned to team up with Su Chen to kill off the other survivors.

Then he'd borrow some food and medicine from Su Chen.

But Su Chen, that bastard, wouldn't play along. He couldn't be bribed or intimidated—unbelievably annoying!

To make matters worse, A-Biao had no way to breach his defenses. What the hell was he supposed to do?

Just then, the roar of a powerful engine echoed through the underground parking garage.

A-Biao paused, raising his head in surprise.

The massive Nomadism RV, parked in the distance, had suddenly come to life.

A-Biao didn't think much of it—probably Su Chen heading out to deal with the blackwater tank again.

But even after dawn broke, and his men had drained and disposed of Zhang Mingyuan's corpses, the Nomadism still hadn't returned.

A wave of unease surged through A-Biao. He quickly summoned two uninjured subordinates and sent them out to investigate.

He wasn't worried that Su Chen had run off. He was more concerned that Su Chen might be setting up another trap.

Not long after, the two men returned.

"Biao-ge, that guy didn't go far. His RV's parked right outside the hotel entrance."

A-Biao grew even more puzzled.

What the hell was this bastard planning now?

He thought about it for a long time but couldn't come up with any answers.

Shaking his head, he turned his attention to the bowl in front of him.

Even after all this time in the apocalypse, Zhang Mingyuan—spoiled and pampered from birth—was still deliciously tender.

"Ah Chen, why did we leave the underground parking lot? Aren't you afraid... the heatwave might come back?"

Seeing Su Chen park the Nomadisen at the entrance of the Green Forest Hotel, Liu Ling'er couldn't help but ask.

Su Chen didn't respond. He merely glanced at her coldly.

"I... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have spoken out of turn!"

That sharp look in Su Chen's eyes made Liu Ling'er's heart skip a beat. She quickly lowered her head and admitted her mistake.

Women will admit to marrying the wrong man, but rarely admit to being wrong otherwise.

Liu Ling'er was no exception.

Since the day she met Su Chen, the only mistake she'd ever admitted to was dating him in the first place.

To willingly admit fault today—this was a rare sight indeed.

"Discipline, as per house rules."

When Su Chen uttered those words, a blush immediately spread across Liu Ling'er's pretty face.

She didn't dare resist and obediently accepted Su Chen's punishment.

Though Su Chen had already warned her before, reshaping her mindset would take time and repeated discipline.

That's why he had established strict rules—to ensure consequences for every mistake she made.

"Stand up."

After the punishment, Su Chen gave the command calmly and added,

"The heatwave has passed. What's coming next is several days of heavy rain."

"The parking lot is in a low-lying area. If we stay there, we'll get flooded."

So that was it.

Liu Ling'er suddenly understood, though she still had some doubts in her heart.

Mount Phoenix was already at a high elevation—how bad could the flooding possibly get?

But after the punishment just now, she didn't dare say a word.

"Go get ready," Su Chen said, raising an eyebrow slightly and speaking in a low voice.

Letting Liu Ling'er into the RV had been part of his plan from the start—for his own sake.

Tonight, he planned to make her his, completely.

Though he didn't spell it out, Liu Ling'er understood instantly.

She bit her lip lightly and obediently went into the bathroom.

When she came out again, she was still in her maid outfit—but now, she'd added a pair of black stockings.

All men love black stockings.

Su Chen was no exception.

Seeing her like that, a wicked smile crept across his lips.
