Chapter 10 - The Know-It-All at Hogwarts

Snape looked at the back of the Dementor going away, and breathed a sigh of relief. The silver doe in front of him also dissipated into the air. His face was still pale, a layer of fine sweat oozed from his forehead, and his eyes revealed a trace of fatigue. He glanced at Ivan coldly, his voice low and hoarse

"Mr. Aferri, your performance really impressed me. However, I have never added those magics of yours, maybe you can explain it."

Ivan shrugged and smiled nonchalantly: "Professor, I just helped you a lot, can't you say thank you?"

Snape's face was still cold, and there was no ripple in his eyes.

"Your magic is not something an 11-year-old boy can have. I don't think Dumbledore was as powerful as you when he was 11."

At this moment, the voice of the ancestor suddenly sounded in Ivan's mind: "Ivan, don't talk nonsense with him, look at his arm."

Ivan's eyes subconsciously fell on Snape's arm. At that moment, he vaguely saw a black tattoo under Snape's cuffs, like a skeleton hand, with a crown on the index finger and a python wrapped around it. The pattern looked particularly strange in the dim moonlight.

Ivan frowned slightly, and a trace of doubt flashed in his eyes. He was about to ask, but suddenly, Snape's arm twitched violently, as if some kind of strong pain came. Snape's face instantly became paler, the blue veins on his forehead bulged, his fingers tightly grasped his arm, and his knuckles turned white due to the force. He didn't bother to question Ivan again and turned away.

"That professor has a strange curse, and someone communicated with him through this curse." The Grandmaster said, "It's a wonderful curse, combining the sound transmission over a long distance and the black magic. The person who created this curse is really a genius." Ivan stood there, watching Snape leave, with a lot of thoughts in his mind. He lowered his head and looked at the rune remnants left by the palm thunder, thinking: "This world is so interesting, but it's a pity that I can't share it with Ergouzi." The Grandmaster sent out a strong electric current, which made Ivan twitch. "Don't always be Ergouzi, Ergouzi, I don't like gay people in Kongshan Taoist Temple." The next morning, Ivan got up early. He planned to ask Hermione, the top student at Hogwarts. Ivan walked into the hall, his eyes swept across the long table of Gryffindor, and quickly locked on the target. Hermione was having breakfast with Harry and Ron. The three seemed to be discussing something. Hermione looked a little serious, her eyebrows slightly wrinkled, and her lips moved quickly, as if she was refuting Ron's point of view.

Ivan walked over and sat directly opposite Hermione. His sudden appearance made the three little ones stunned for a moment. Ron raised his head, with a piece of bread in his mouth, and said vaguely: "Hey, Ivan, why are you here?"

Harry smiled friendly and nodded: "Good morning, Ivan."

Hermione put down the fork in her hand and looked at Ivan, with a bit of doubt in her eyes: "Is there anything?"

Ivan nodded, he took out a piece of paper from his pocket, on which was a complex pattern - that was the tattoo he saw on Snape's arm last night. He pushed the paper in front of Hermione and whispered: "Hermione, look at this pattern, do you recognize it?"

Hermione took the paper, her eyes fell on the pattern, and her face changed instantly. Her eyes widened, her fingers trembled slightly, and her lips were pursed into a line. Her breathing became rapid, and her voice was a little nervous: "Where did you see this pattern?"

Ivan did not answer, but stared at Hermione with a questioning look in his eyes. Hermione's expression made him realize that the matter might be much more serious than he thought.

Harry and Ron also came over and their eyes fell on the pattern. Ron's face changed instantly. He reached out and snatched the paper from Hermione, folded it quickly, and stuffed it into his pocket, muttering in a low voice: "It's the Dark Mark!"

Ivan frowned, with a bit of confusion in his eyes: "Dark Mark? What is that?"

Hermione took a deep breath, her eyes swept between Ivan, Harry and Ron, and finally stopped at Ivan, with a bit of complexity in her tone: "The Dark Mark is the symbol of Voldemort. Only Death Eaters - Voldemort's most loyal followers, will have this mark."

Ivan frowned slightly, tapped his fingers lightly on the table, and glanced back and forth between Hermione and Ron, with a bit of inquiry in his eyes: "Voldemort? Who is that? Is it the one you mentioned last time?"

Ron's face became paler, and he subconsciously looked around, as if to confirm that no one else was listening to their conversation. His voice lowered even lower, with a tremor: "Yes, it's the mysterious man... However, we usually don't call him by his name directly, it's very dangerous."

Hermione glanced at Harry, and Harry understood what Hermione meant and nodded. Hermione told the story of Voldemort and Harry again.

"So there are Voldemort's followers in the school now!!" Ivan probably understood that this was the big boss.

Er Gouzi taught him how to play the game.

Hermione nodded and said: "Ivan, where did you see this pattern?"

Ivan's eyes flickered slightly, and just as he was about to speak, he suddenly realized that he couldn't easily expose Snape's secret. After all, Snape was a professor at Hogwarts, and he himself didn't know much about the rules of this world. If he said these rashly, it might cause unnecessary trouble.

He hesitated, pursed his lips slightly, then showed a vague smile, and said in a relaxed tone: "Oh, nothing, I saw it in a book in the library last night, I thought it was interesting, so I copied it."

Hermione's eyes flashed a trace of suspicion, her eyebrows slightly raised, her lips moved, as if she wanted to ask something else, but in the end she didn't say it.

After leaving the hall, Ivan's pace gradually slowed down, his brows slightly frowned, and his eyes revealed a trace of deep thought. Dark Mark, Voldemort, Death Eaters... These terms kept circling in his mind, as if some dangerous shadow was gradually approaching.

"Grandmaster, do you think Snape...is he a Death Eater?" Ivan murmured in a low voice, his voice was almost inaudible.

The Grandmaster's ring flickered slightly, as if responding to his question.

Just then, a bell rang in the distance, and the first Transfiguration class was about to begin. Ivan took a deep breath, put away his thoughts, and walked towards the classroom.
