I return back to my desk to finish my work still red from the situation that just happened,

It's basically an event held each year where all the mafia's from the neighborhood countries come together and celebrate their union. We're hosting it this year! Isn't it fun??
A party...gosh the last thing I need is attention...

TIME SKIP
It's the day of the party and I pick out a dress...(Should I have picked a more simple dress...it's fine...it's just one night and Louise did say it's a dress to impress...)
I walk out of my room and bump into someone,

I look up to see Carter standing there in one of the most expensive looking suits I've ever seen.
Oh hi yeah I am..you look nice
I comment,

(I didn't but I appreciated the compliment)

He ask and I have no reason to decline.
We both start making our way to the main hall
IN THE MAIN HALL
We both enter the main hall and I take in the view...the ceilings were right decorated with large chandeliers filled with crystals and the walls were covered in these sparkling pieces that make room glow. The red carpets and the decorative tables.
(What the fuck...am I still on earth...jeez...)
Isn't this so cool?? Last year we went to country X and it was even better than this!
Carter tells me,

I manage to say,
Let's go sit in the corner!
Carter tells me as he points to the end of the hall with less people and so we both head there and take seats at the bar
SEBASTIAN'S POV
I'm standing there entertaining some guests...frank which I do not like but have to put up with anyways, Louise is standing besides me and so is Ethan making small talk. Good for me because I don't have to interact with them so much, I subconsciously look around the room scanning for someone... someone who I don't want to admit, I spot him. Liam, he's in the corner taking to a boy, looks around his age.
(I guess he found a friend here, good for him...)
I want to go and talk to him but I keep getting interrupted, this is why I hate parties, people have no sense of boundaries..
Mr Ford! So nice so see you tonight.
I turn my head to see an old friend, We never really hung out much because of the distance but regardless he's one of the few people I don't hate in this world

I extend my hand to shake his and he shakes it.
