After returning to his dorm room, Su Qing took out the Fortune Pen. Without energy, it was just an ordinary brush with a jade handle. Clearly, Su Qing had started getting ahead of himself.
"I wonder when the next spirit with unfulfilled wishes will appear," Su Qing sighed.
Only with enough energy could he use the pen to rewrite fate and make real change. According to that mysterious voice he'd heard before, a global crisis would soon hit Blue Star. Su Qing needed energy—fast—to help protect the world.
Suddenly, a voice echoed in the room.
"Can you help me fulfill my last wish?"
Su Qing looked up and saw a man in his twenties, floating midair. The ghost had the appearance of a young and somewhat handsome man.
"Zhang Jun?" Su Qing blurted out.
He recognized him immediately. Everyone in Jiangzhou Art Institute knew Zhang Jun—the rich second-gen who owned a company and was infamous for one thing: being the biggest simp in school. He had pursued the dance department beauty Xue Ying for years, only to be rejected time and again.
A week ago, Zhang Jun suddenly disappeared. Most thought he had finally given up.
But now... he was dead.
Zhang Jun floated over with a respectful expression. "I didn't expect our school to have not only a goddess like Xue Ying but also an immortal like you, Su Qing. Truly, this place hides dragons and tigers!"
Su Qing raised an eyebrow. "How did you find me?"
Zhang Jun replied, "After I died, no one could see me. But just now, I felt a message in my mind telling me someone could help me fulfill my last wish. I thought of that person—and suddenly I was here."
"I see," Su Qing nodded. "Then tell me, what's your last wish?"
Zhang Jun answered sincerely, "My biggest regret is never being able to win over Xue Ying. Can you help me chase her?"
"You want me to chase her? So you can live vicariously through me?" Su Qing's eye twitched. "This is like you being a simp by proxy."
Wow. Life ends, but the simp life doesn't?
This might be the first wish that genuinely freaked Su Qing out. He had a feeling future ones could get even weirder.
Zhang Jun continued, "Think of it like reading a novel. You're the protagonist. I just want to see what it would be like to succeed through you. If you win her heart, I'll be satisfied."
"Do I need to write a diary or something?" Su Qing muttered.
"Diary?" Zhang Jun looked confused.
"Never mind." Su Qing waved it off.
Zhang Jun was already feeling emotional pain. He hated people who half-explained things and then brushed them off.
"I just want to fulfill this one regret. If you succeed, I'll disappear. It's not like I'll read your diary anyway," Zhang Jun said.
Su Qing nodded. "Alright, this seems easy. You'll get your wish tomorrow."
Zhang Jun's expression turned serious. "Be careful. Xue Ying's not like other girls. She's not interested in money or appearances. I chased her for three years and still failed. Want me to analyze her for you—?"
"Analyze what? If your analysis worked, you wouldn't be dead and single," Su Qing cut him off.
"…Ouch. Thanks for the emotional damage," Zhang Jun muttered.
Su Qing turned in for the night. "I'm going to sleep. Just watch me tomorrow."
Zhang Jun sighed. "Don't use a spell on her. That doesn't count."
"Please. Do you think I need spells to chase a girl?" Su Qing said from under the covers.
Zhang Jun: "…"
Thank you, that's emotional damage again.

The next morning.
"Holy crap! What's happening here?!"
Su Qing's roommates—Zhao Fei, Xie An, and Wang Tai—had just returned from staying out all night. They were stunned to see a crowd of beautiful girls gathered outside their dorm door with breakfast in hand. Even worse, a bunch of onlookers were standing around, watching the scene like it was a live drama.
"…Did we go to the wrong floor?" one of them asked.
Just then, one of the girls called out, "Zhao Fei! Could you check if Su Qing's awake for us?"
The three roommates froze. "You… all came here for him?"
"Yes, please help us wake him up gently. Don't disturb him if he's still sleeping."
The roommates stared blankly, speechless with shock and growing envy.
They had clearly agreed to be single together—and now Su Qing was out here with half the school's beauties fighting over him!
Just then, the door creaked open.
Su Qing, handsome as ever, walked out.
"Su Qing! This is breakfast I brought specially for you!"
"Immortal Brother! Here's mine!"
The crowd of girls swarmed him, offering all sorts of breakfast and drinks. Around them, jealous boys boiled with rage.
"Damn it! I'd be happy if even one girl brought me food!"
"What's the big deal? A woman would only slow down my leveling up anyway."
"STOP!" Su Qing raised his voice.
Everyone fell silent instantly.
Su Qing sighed. "Thank you, everyone, but please, you're affecting my ability to study."
A wave of silence.
The boys: Seriously? Study?
You've got heaven right in front of you, and you're worried about learning?
Then Su Qing added, "If you really want to bring breakfast, please take turns. No crowding."
He turned and walked past his roommates.
"You guys just got back? Man, I envy you. You have the freedom to go out all night. Unlike me—good-looking people like us never get peace. If only I could have a free day like you…"
With that, he walked off dramatically, leaving only his melancholic silhouette behind.
He was off to find Xue Ying.
The three roommates: "…"
"BASTARD!"
"BEAST!"
"He ran away before we could hit him!"
Just then, they noticed dozens of cold gazes.
The girls were glaring at them like they were enemies.
A long-haired girl huffed. "You heard Su Qing. No crowding. We'll organize a schedule so only one girl brings breakfast each day."
"Good idea!" the others agreed.
The boys nearby almost cried.
What kind of sorcery was this? Why were they so obsessed with Su Qing?
