"Fifty!"
He shouted with manic glee as he yanked another book from the shelf, laughter echoing through the impossible library. An aura of shimmering blue began to pulse faintly around him—unnoticed, but growing with every spell learned, every ounce of mana absorbed.
[Milestone Reached: Chantless Casting Passive (Unlocked)]
"Another passive? This one looks really good as well…"
He muttered greedily, eyes glinting with power as he reached for yet another tome, fingers twitching with anticipation.
But the moment he touched it, the book ignited in a burst of radiant blue light—disintegrating in his hands before he could even open it. His spellbook responded with a dramatic flash and a jarring notification.

"You have to be kidding me, right? What's the fun in having a limitation…?"
He groaned with theatrical disappointment, flopping his arms down like a child denied dessert.
"Well… whatever. I've got everything I need to clear this place anyway."
Sebastian laughed darkly, stepping out from behind the battered earth wall with renewed swagger, his wand spinning once between his fingers.
At last, he saw his attacker.
From a high vantage point above, a figure cloaked in blood-red stood tall, wand already raised in eerie mimicry of Sebastian. Its face was hidden, a hollow shadow under its hood, already preparing the next attack.
"Oh no you don't."
Sebastian grinned with devilish delight, gripping his wand tightly as he raised it toward the cloaked enemy.
"Get a taste of your own medicine!"
The wand's tip flared to life—magic gathering in a swirling sphere, the air humming with raw energy. As he released the spell, the sphere surged outward with violent force, shredding the platform in an eruption of dust, flame, and splintered stone. The red-cloaked figure vanished in the blast.

"Oh… a time limit?"
He raised a brow, then immediately smirked.
[Continue? Higher Rewards/Higher Risks]
Running a hand through his messy hair, Sebastian clicked the glowing panel without hesitation, eyes gleaming with anticipation. His irises now shimmered with pure magic—blue light leaking from his pupils like bottled lightning, growing brighter by the second.
[Stage 2: Start]
Before he could even reposition, five different spells erupted from the darkness—ice shards, boiling water, fireballs, jagged earth spikes, and a rolling wave of green poison mist. The sudden spike in difficulty was less of a curve and more of a vertical cliff.
"Won't work."
He cackled, snapping his wand upward like a maestro about to conduct chaos.
With a theatrical sweep of his arm, his aura surged—so powerful it sent his long trench coat rippling like a flag in a storm. It wasn't just wind; it was pressure.
"Counterspell!"
He shouted like a showman delivering his signature catchphrase. Instantly, all five spells blinked out of existence—snuffed like candles in a vacuum. The silence that followed was deafening.
His body didn't pause. Before his hand could fall fully to rest, he whipped it back up, movements flowing like choreography. His eyes now burned with blue fire, overflowing with untamed energy as the very air vibrated around him.
"Arcane Rebuke!"
Yeah, I know I can cast without shouting spell names or whatever…
But it's way too entertaining not to.
Sebastian's inner monologue was practically drowned by the roar of raw magical energy coiling around him. Tendrils of glowing blue magic spiraled around his head, forming a twisting, living halo—each strand pointing at a different direction, each locking onto a separate target.
And just like that, they struck.
"Rest in peace."
He said softly, with the tone of someone about to drop the final beat in a killer track. He dropped both hands in one grand finale gesture, as his aura exploded outward like a magical supernova.
The arcane tendrils shot out with sniper precision, piercing five red-cloaked mages directly through their skulls. They dropped from their perches like puppets with cut strings.
