As The brotherhood marched towards the thunder fort - the stronghold of kaana of the hidden cloud- one half to the north a full city, and the other half to the southern most hills and cliffs and the rest swamp land.
Ame with his new team Midori and Akai was asked to lead the genin platoon along with Gyomei and his team.
The genin were placed in the middle section of the fleet, with Chunin and Jonin in both Vanguard and Rearguard distributed equally in terms of strength with the 2 platoon leaders in the rear and 2 at the forefront each leading a section of the chunin-jonin mix
Although the Vanguard was massively stronger in strength because of their leader -- Uzumaki Reina.
In the heavy rain, this army of shinobi were marching towards Kaana's army,
After a few more miles, the enemy army was in sight only one mile ahead! Because of the heavy Rain- it was hard to see despite it being morning
The black clouds covered the village in darkness and the rain kept the village inside a cage of mist.
"HALT!", shouted Reina - The army halting there advance - a sight clearly displaying that she was the boss here.
"THE ENEMY ARMY IS IN SIGHT! FROM HENCEFORTH, IT IS NO MERE MARCH TO WAR - BUT A MARCH TO DEATH!!!", spoke Reina turning towards them -- loudly for the whole army to hear in the drumming - pattering environment - yet Reina's voice had reached perfectly through.
Reina's words were the last warning for the army to get their heads back to the real world for what comes next was not a pleasantary victory but violentary slaughter just like in a buchery.
Kaana's army stretched to 2000 strong -most of them Nukenin and they were in the defensive position.
Meanwhile The 400 strong Brotherhood
Were on the offensive, and on the enemy's land marching forward with the goal of a siege.
Even Reina's strong words weren't enough to prepare them for this, but still they were there - not one hesitant from 10 year olds to 30 year olds - all youth, still standing ready for an inevitable purge,
Maybe they were just foolish, their age riling and blinding them, yet this they choose even though it was made was by the government of rain- wasting these youth to the war - what do they have in mind? What do they seek from this? Something that Reina never questionedz even though she did realise something about this was amiss.
These thoughts in Ame's head as he was deep lost in thought about this whole situation - thinking, that maybe Kai was right about all this -maybe Kai knows better than his sister - But alas! Ame had chose to trust Rei, not foolhardly but because they had a plan.

Kaana, keenly observing their move up from his tower - the giant didn't even get off of his tower to meet the army, not because he was a coward but because he didn't consider such a small army a threat.

The Army general at the forefront of Kaana's army - Dakai of the waterfall, A man past his 40 with a broad
chest and a giant body - the enemy visible in his eyes commands in a heavy sound the Vanguard 1000 strong, of the 2000 strong army, to march forward.
Within exactly one minute the two armies were 100 meters away from each other
The last minute ticking slowly...
Heavy Rain, Kramming Thunder and Krooming Lightning all slow...
It was as if the whole world has stopped to feel the last bloodless minute and reel it in.

Dakai's Spear meets Reina's Blade creating an impact that threw off the shinobi in the 20 meter radius of the vicinity -- Along with Reina and Dakai who felt the impact a second later pushing them 10 meters off with Reina levitating above ground weaving some signs "Red Matter, Bloody Fire!", mutters Reina as she spits Crimson Fire towards Dakai who was on his knees after the impact - he weaves some signs creating a big Mudwall surrounding him - Unfortunately for him the fire wasn't just charging towards him but it was being directed, and Reina changed that direction towards one area of the wall - concentrating all of it as if forming a crimson red laser, the Mudwall couldn't stop it's penetration, as it entered and collected itself completely inside that shell of wall now as if a volcano in the brink of it's eruption
At the same time a scream screeched within the shell
"AAAAHHHH!", cried Dakai, his last words.
BOOM!!
The Shell erupted violently and Sizzling hot projectiles blasted towards all directions - hitting Rei's foes and allies alike, not sparing any except those who protected themself.
Yes, this is a battlefield, and it is hardly something that could be avoided. A shinobi must always be prepared for his own ally's attacks hitting him in a war where ninjutsu was prevalent.

The battlefield was singing a metalic melody, steel communicating with each other and the 5 natural phenomenon clashing each other -- all in one single tone, the tune of death.
Kaana, who was watching it from afar with a traditional binocular had already envisioned Dakai's death from Reina's hands.
"hmph, she lives her reputation for sure that one, 'The Bloodbath', eh? hmph!", said Merciless Kaana as he witnessed his general's demise.To him all of them were just pawn. "I had already anticipated this outcome, with the strongest person of the army gone, Bloodbath will take 100 herself, although that won't be enough to win this battle unfortunately heh, the trap has been laid - all that is left is for the prey to fall into it's mouth", said Kaana to himself.

In the middle of the thick battle, the four platoon leaders of Kaana's vanguard were reaching towards the four platoon leaders of their enemy with a plan of throwing the enemy in disarray by losing its command channels.
The Four leader each in their area were near one of the four leaders and -
Cut - their blade piece through them or to say through water! - these were highly perfected clones of the leaders. All four of them in shock as if they were misguided and now they are in hell.
The Rain had gotten slower and with that, Kaana's men realised that they were tricked - The Brotherhood had cast a widescale genjitsu using the Rain and making them see 3 times more people - this was a brilliant plan for a small army, thinning their numbers even more would have been reckless unless they covered the gap with some clones and a massive illusion which made the enemy slice the air while they were sliced from behind.
The 100 strong all Jonin were holding the front of the 1000 strong.
Amidst the illusion the army was pincered by 200 strong chunin from it's bottom right and left corners under water camouflage jutsu.
The Brotherhood had created an edge in an unwinnable battle, but it seems that today of all days the weather decided to take a rest. With rain gone, so did their illusions, clones and camouflages.
Each of them were strongly enforced by three of the four platoon leaders leading the pinsir strategy.
The strongest of the platoon numbering 20 Jonin along with 80 backup of genin were moving underground like it's just another average road, the 4th platoon leader is highly proficient in earth style and had a kekkei genkai called swamp style that helped him manipulate the puddly ground.
"We tread carefully but swiftly, we are assigned to dig deep right under the Rearguard to massacre them completely, with my power it is possible but - to do that as long as I have enough chakra- our 20 most elite Jonin and 80 of you genin were assigned to escort me there without exhausting my chakra fighting, and to have a high amount of supply from you transported by medic genins", the 4th, Rag said, going through the plan.

The ground under the 20 Jonin walking ahead collapse and they fall to apit that seems endless
"Swamp style, Mud manipulation", Rag the 4th platoon leader grabs them with mud.
"Thank you captain!", said a Jonin
"I can't lose you right now ", says Rag trying to lift them back up - but suddenly

Steel projectiles were being massively launched from the walls of the fissure as if it was attached there. The projectiles killed all the 20 most elite Jonin. it was a fissure trap, but looking at the size, Rag realised it wasn't meant for them but the whole brotherhood army
"NO..!!", Rag said desparingly, his voice shaking.
"Oh no, what has happened...", said Ame eyes widened, froze and on his knees.
"This wasn't the plan!!", Gyomei upset of this unprecedented variable that broke down his whole plan - yes he is the mastermind behind this whole strategy.
"Tch - to think my perfect trap would become a basic fodder for a small amount of the enemy trying to sneak through the ground", said a shifty looking guy with rectangular glasses from above ground where the fissure broke apart.
"Platoon captains, Ame and Gyomei!!!", shouted Rag.
"Yes sir", replied the kid captains even under all this pressure.
"These are your new orders, An S-Rank mission! Hold off the Rearguards men in this gap with 40 of you while the other 40 come with me to replenish my chara!! And be my defence Rearguard", Rag without a moment of hesitation orders them.
The Genin platoon made a formation with 40 leading Rag under the centre of Rearguard
While the other 40 deals with any rearguards coming through the fissure from inside the fissure as to resist the battle with both Gyomei and Ame leading the group.
Will they succeed in their plans? Or will it all shift to something completely unexpected again?
