Cherreads

Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Lukinder pulled his hand away and turned cold again, walking to his desk. Nabi watched, trying to calm her breathing. It was as if he were searching for something.

"Yes, it was in the desk drawer. Anyway, tell them the deal will be finalized tomorrow evening,"

he said while glancing at her—her chest rising and falling rapidly as she tried to breathe. For a moment, his eyes traced her shape.

Long legs. Curved hips. A perfectly sculpted waist. Her hair cascading down her back. Those honey-colored eyes.

"What the hell have you brought into your life, Lukinder?"

he muttered, massaging his temple slowly.

'She's so hot,'

He bit his lips.

He was approaching her with steady steps. "He's coming toward me... Oh God, what do I do? I'm so nervous!"

Her eyes scanned every inch of his face. His expression remained stone-cold—but damn her heart, he was too handsome to ignore.

With every step he took, she stepped back, until he caught her before she fell onto the bed. He slowly lifted her waist, allowing her to lean on his shoulder. Every touch of his ignited her like a flame.

His left fingers toyed with strands of her hair as he inhaled her unique scent.

"I have rules, darling. Rules for everything. And this marriage has its own rules,"

he whispered, deliberately marking her neck. She tried to muffle her moan, "Ah…"

A satisfied smile crept across his face at the sound, as he felt her breath rise and fall heavily.

"You belong to me now. No questions. No scandals. And I don't want children,"

he said, then shocked her by tossing her onto the bed. Part of the towel slipped, revealing parts of her body.

"Maybe he's insane. Who doesn't want a child in their life?"

she thought, she was a little bit sad she loved children, she once so eager to have her own child.

"I want to have a child,"

She slipped the words, only to realize she was now completely exposed before him.

"I didn't plan to tempt you—this is your fault. No one asked you to crave the kind of woman I am into."

One thought consumed his mind—to leave his marks of possession on every inch of her body.

"I want him to keep going, but..."

she murmured, battling her own moans. Her body burned with heat—he was toying with her.

"You will be following my rules darling,"

He said ready to go deeper into her, he ignored her comment on her demand to have a child,'I know you are not different from other women, you will dare to carry my child just to claim my wealth,'

He thought staring at her green eyes.

Then his phone rang. He stared at her for a long moment—her cherry lips, her uneven breath—and smiled.

"Damn it, what do they want at this hour?"

he muttered, adjusting his collar as he left the room. It was fine—he could go. Poor Nabi needed to regain control over herself.

"Okay, Nabi, let's analyze this. Maybe he's just obsessed with your body for now. He almost did it… damn, that was hot,"

she whispered, pulling the sheet to cover her body. She traced the spots he had touched, where his fingers had sparked desire.

"Even if it was just a whim, surely the day will come when he loves me."

She smiled, her heart racing wildly, and laughed softly with anticipation. He came back to her. No matter the reason—he came back.

She didn't know when she fell into deep sleep. She didn't even feel his footsteps when he returned to the room and lay down beside her on the bed.

"The moment I saw you, I don't know what happened to me. I'm doing unnecessary things just to come back to you,"

he whispered in her ear, pulling her close, burying his face in her neck. Maybe this was the beginning of an addiction.

Sunlight poured through the room. She had woken up early, excited—it was her first day as this cold man's wife.

But he was nowhere to be found. "Maybe he already left. No matter, I'll take care of the house,"

she said, heading to the kitchen. She wore a short dress that showed off her legs, her modest breasts making her waist look even more seductive.

"Where do you think you're going dressed like that?"

His voice struck her heart like a drum. She turned to see him in short swim trunks, muscles sculpted, hair dripping wet. She couldn't focus.

"To the kitchen. I'm making breakfast. Do you want anything?"

she stammered, flustered by his presence. He was clearly enjoying her nervousness.

he took a few steps toward her—this time, she didn't retreat. She stood firm.

His eyes traced a path from the bottom of her legs to her lips, lingering there.

As if silently telling her she was the most fitting dish for his breakfast.

"Doesn't matter. I'm leaving in half an hour,"

he said, ignoring her and heading to their room.

She let out a long sigh.

"Fine, you have half an hour. Let's see what you can do in that time,"

she muttered, trying not to be swayed by his tone.

Maybe the intimacy they shared last night wouldn't happen again anytime soon—but it was enough to make her hold onto this marriage.

When he stepped out of the room, everything on the dining table was ready—several dishes neatly arranged. She stood there, gesturing for him to take a seat.

"You're truly unbelievable,"

he muttered before approaching her. He picked up a spoon, tasted the soup, and said coldly,

"It's too salty. And I'm on a special diet."

She had been so excited while preparing the meal for him. Still, she replied with firm confidence,

"Look, Mr. Luk, as much as you want your life to go according to your plans—I respect that. But you have to eat something before leaving the house. You can't go out on an empty stomach. It's a family tradition… one you cannot break."
