Joy's POV
At the edge of my bed, I was woken up by the noise of my parent scolding my brother Jaden (who was nine years older than me) in the passage . I woke up with a banging headache and a foggy memory of last night. I felt drunk and the only thing I remember was seeing Ricky with his new girlfriend.
I moved past my parents drama some water after which I went back to upstairs to get ready for school. On my way to school I saw Aaron, the sight of his face made everything from yesterday come rushing back. Realizing how awkward it will be if I talked to him, I quickly rushed past him and went to school.
I slept through half of my classes and didn't concentrate during the rest. I kept thinking of the kiss and if it was the end of a long friendship. I thought of the fact that I won't be able to talk to him and that pushed me to talk about what had happened maturely with him.
When I got home. I washed up changed into casual clothes and went over to his place. I rang the door bell and his sister answered the door.
"Please tell Aaron I wanna talk to him" I requested
" His not back yet " Ella replied
" Where might he be " I asked.
" Probably at his after school job" she answered. Hearing that I left and went back inside. I watched through the window for hours waiting for him but he didn't arrive. After hours had passed and I was getting bored I gave up. I got hungry and went to ear dinner.
While eating, I heard a lang bang and a body fall with a grunt. I rushed to see who it was and found out Jaden had fell face first into the trashcan.
" What happened to you" I asked
