Chapter 6 - B1| Chapter 6

The system screen Ella could see and the one her viewers were seeing were entirely different. Unlike her personal system that showed her full details, the viewer's screen—which was developed by a Primordial—only displayed her name, level, and legacy counts.

However, that didn't mean it was useless. The streamers' system announced dangers ahead before she could even sense them. That was one of the reasons streamers always interacted with their viewers during system challenges.

Also, viewers could sponsor their favourite streamers—either by giving them challenges or simply asking them to do whatever absurd thing popped into their heads.

'If I get a sleeping pad or something, that would be good,' she thought, staring at the rough ground of the shelter she'd found. It had taken her another hour to reach here, but at least this place had a nearby water source.

And the entrance was small—too small for any big-ass monster to crawl in. But still, her sleep wouldn't be anything close to comfortable. Even if her health had returned to maximum thanks to her skill, the mental exhaustion clung to her bones.

'Whatever, let's sleep here for now,' she thought, letting her body finally give in. The stream shut off the moment she decided to sleep, which calmed her nerves just a bit. Twisting on the ground to find a bearable position, she touched her stream icon.

Her subscriber count had already crossed into the millions. The sight made her feel a little weird. Then she opened her inbox only to slam it shut right after reading the first message.

[iFuckUndead: Darling, I always liked beautiful things when they rotted. Let's share some. (Pic)]

'God damn…'

Her curiosity about the inbox died right there. She moved on to the sponsorship box. To send one, the sponsor had to pay both the credits and the actual item upfront to the system.

So she at least hoped this section would be a little more… professional.

Yeah, no.

She had grossly underestimated the number of degenerates floating around the universe. The first few messages were just begging for nudes.

Someone even sponsored her a weapon core—for god's sake—just to see her feet. Reading more of these ridiculous sponsorship suggestions genuinely expanded her worldview a little… in the worst way.

She deleted anything remotely suggestive, searching through the clutter for something decent. Finally, after way too much scrolling, she found one.

[LongLiveMe: Give a shoutout to me in tomorrow's stream.]

[Sponsored item: A level 10 ordinary armour.]

[Do you want to accept?]

'Of course, yes. That's the most simple and ridiculous task for an ordinary armour.' Ella couldn't even begin to guess what was going on in this guy's head. Honestly, it wasn't even a real challenge, especially with the reward being armour.

A dark purple armour shimmered into existence mid-air as soon as she accepted the task. Ella jumped to her feet, giddy like a child, ready to wear actual armour for the first time. Intricate patterns wrapped around it like dark vines curling toward her chest, meeting at a heart-shaped gem.

It clung to her body like a second skin, moving with her like it was sewn into her nerves. More than anything, it matched her taste perfectly. She liked it.

[Thank you for the armour.]

She sent the message to the stranger and shut down her system screen before going to sleep. Somehow, the rough surface beneath her didn't feel that uncomfortable anymore.

[Elric's Watch Party Stream]

Even before the anchor of the stream appeared on the screen, the chat box was overflowing without a moment of silence. In Albert's words, the chat box was always like this, even after his little girl shut down her stream.

He read the message she had sent him for the hundredth time, a wide grin etching across his face.

'Thank you for the armour.'

Even her texts were cute. Just like her.

JadeBeautyLover: My wife is still sleeping. I have to teach her some wifey duties…

Albert's hands almost reached out to mute him. However, Elric's warning stopped him from doing it. He had personally banned Albert from misusing his mod powers.

If not, he would've already been removed from his moderator position. Albert was sure there were hundreds waiting in line to become Elric's mod now—

Especially after how popular his watch party streams had gotten since the first day of the challenge.

'Hmph… everyone's here to see my girl…'

Watch party streams were always famous after personal streams. Most people liked to hear commentary during a stream. Some streamers didn't even speak during their challenges.

So, to keep the viewers invested, the system allowed chat-based streams, which were also connected with the streamer's account.

Watch party streamers got a percentage of the total earnings from the main streamers, depending on the popularity of the watch party itself.

Albert, being a mod for Elric—the system-assigned watch party streamer for Earth—automatically became mod for Ella's stream.

That was also the main reason an S-Class adventurer like him accepted Elric's warning without any objections.

At least he had a bit of power over the normal viewers in the stream. That was enough… for his future disciple to notice him. Yes, the moment Ella showed her skill, he was sure she was the perfect heir for his legacy.

'Aura of death.'

No one could notice that unless they had a death-based legacy like him. But in this universe, he'd never known anyone else with such a legacy. Even if someone did, them being a blacksmith like him would be rare.

Even if someone happened to be a blacksmith, they couldn't make legendary weapons like he could. And even if someone could… hehe, he would've already kidnapped her as his disciple. Albert felt smug.

ChaosHD: @LongLiveMe yo, why aren't you muting that guy btw? Are you scared? Pftt.

Albert gritted his teeth seeing that comment. He had banned this guy once for joking when his little disciple died the first time. This bastard made fun of his poor disciple.

But after Elric checked the reason for banning, he revoked it instantly.

Now Albert had to sit here and watch this annoying punk show off in front of him… helplessly.

But… hehe.

@ChaosHD muted for an hour. ~Mod team

Rule No. 11: No tagging of moderators unless necessary.

There went one annoying guy. Now, let's see. Albert rubbed his hands together, waiting for the stream to start. When it did, his breath vanished for a moment.

Ella wore the armour he had personally carved for her level. It matched her perfectly, and she even seemed to have a smile on her pocket-sized face.

After all, it was made by one of the legendary blacksmiths in the cosmos. He had stalked her past for a few hours before figuring out her preferences and planning the armour she might like.

And those struggles seemed to have succeeded. His disciple was genuinely happy. That was all he wanted.

But it also made his defensive mechanism go full-on. There were many creeps out there in the cosmos waiting to trap naïve little girls. He would absolutely never allow their dirty eyes to land on his future heir.

He noted the profile names of men who commented super suggestive words, which the system erased automatically. He decided to personally meet some of them after today's stream.

Ella struggled for a moment, seemingly trying to speak. Then, she finally did—her voice clear, stunning every viewer in her stream.

"Thank you, LongLiveMe, for that armour." Then her face blushed, surprising the viewers once more.

The chat seemed to explode for a moment—and with it, the heart of Albert.

My disciple is so loyal. And cute
