Next day
Glenn woke up early while it's still dark outside. He went to the storage room to clean and one of things he noticed when he was done—he wasn't tired yet. He concluded that if he do things that didn't stressfully strain his body, he cannot easily get tired. It might be one of the benefits of an immortal body aside from not getting sick and not aging.
'I'm gonna need some work out equipment here but I don't have money yet.'
Wait a minute.
'I haven't thoroughly checked system's Quest yet. Maybe there's a way for me to get money from quest missions.'
Glenn opened the system and checked the quests available. He was stunned because it was now different from yesterday. The almost empty window yesterday was now field with quests.
He noticed that the quests are divided into two categories named Daily Quests and Mission Quest.
Taking a deep breath, he first checked the Daily Quest and the contents realigned themselves automatically.
There was a note at the top that Daily Quests refreshes everyday.
•Run 25 kilometers in 30 mins•
Reward: 5 pts.
•Perform 100 sit ups today•
Reward: 5 pts.
•Perform 100 push ups today•
Reward: 5 pts.
•Standing in a Horse Stance for 30 mins•
Reward: 5 pts.
•Complete 100 Shigan in a wooden board•
Reward: 5 pts.
•Stay in hand stand in 30 mins•

'Holy shit, this is some kind of Saitama slash Jinwoo regimen huh.'
The list was long but he knew that all of this was to strengthen his body. Though rewards weren't monetary, it still aligned with his purpose. Without money for the time being, these exercises are enough for now.
After checking Daily Quest, he moved his attention to Mission Quest which only have two missions at this time though it promises generous rewards.

Save atleast one people from any immediate danger while not showing your face.
Rewards: 100 pts. (Every additional life saved + 100 pts.)

Defeat 20 Drug Dealer/Gang Member
Rewards: Basic Observation Haki.
Seeing this, he couldn't help but gulp because the rewards were so tempting. But he knew not be impulsive and he needed the proper strength in order to get the rewards. Good thing the system doesn't have or give any penalties for failed, unfinished and unaccepted quest. Otherwise, he will be screwed.
Taking a deep breath, determination filled his eyes as he muttered to encourage himself, "Time waits for no one. You can do it, Glenn, let's do this."
Even though his wounds wasn't healed yet Glenn started the quest. He then proceeded with the sit up and then the horse stance. He felt his body groaning in pain specially around his wounds but he gritted his teeth to complete the tasks. The room was filled with groaning as he slowly complete the excercises. His body was full of sweat when he was finished.
He just lay there on the floor panting for five minutes.
He looked at the Daily Quest and saw there are still quests that wasn't completed yet but he decided that it was enough for now and he'll try to complete them late in the afternoon.
After resting for a while, he hurriedly went outside to clean the house while waiting for uncle John.
Halfway through cleaning, he heard footsteps from the corridor heading towards him. He ignore it cause he knows it's just either Elle or John.
He turned around and was about greet when he saw baseball bat swinging towards him.
"Good mor—"
"Swiiiiish!"
"Bang!"
His instincts flared as gis body moved faster than his thoughts. He subconsciously used Soru to dodge so he went from his former position to the other side of the living room.
"Hey, what the hell are you doing?! Are you trying to kill me?" Glenn yelled in protest.
"Oh it was you? I thought some thief broke inside. I forgot we have you as a guest." Elle said in surprise.
"You forgot? You should eat food that are good for the brain. Damn, you almost killed me.What are you staring at?"
"How did you that?"
"Do what?"
"For a second you were here and then the next second you are there."
"That's what your body can do if you don't want to die from a baseball bat. And you're clearly half-awake earlier. You are just seeing things." Glenn nervously scoffed.
"But I was sure—"
"Hey don't change the fact that you almost killed me."
Thankfully, uncle John came so Glenn was able to the topic.
"What's going on here?"
"Elle's gone crazy, uncle." Glenn spoke first.
"I forgot we have a guest, dad. I thought someone broke in."
John went to the place where Elle swung the baseball bat.
"Sigh, good thing nothing's broken or you'll be grounded. Go ahead and prepare for school. I'll have Glenn go with me to the marketplace."
"Yes, dad. Sorry."
Elle started to walk towards her room. As she pass by Glenn, he spoke teasingly.
"Where's my sorry?"
"Hmph, no sorry for you. It's your fault to begin with." Elle scoffed.
Glenn widen his eyes dramatically and said, "How is it even my fault? I'm honestly cleaning and then you.. You didn't even hold back. After all the years we've been through."
"Dude, we've just met three days ago."
"The point is—"
"Hmph!"
"You're unreasonable and heartless, tsundere."
"Hmph!"

Days gone by peacefully as Glenn continued his daily quest training while helping uncle John in the shop. His wounds are now healed and he earned his first pot of salary from Uncle John. After receiving his hard earned money, he decided to buy a couple of clothes from a nearby store.
During his days of staying with the father and daughter duo, Glenn discovered some perks of having an immortal body. Since he was immune to any diseases and aging, he learned that he doesn't need to sleep and eat. Despite knowing this, he still eat because he enjoyed it and not to look suspiscious from the John and Elle. On the other hand, he took advantage of not sleeping by doubling his efforts in training doing some daily quest at night.
Some may say being an immortal is a curse, but Glenn would say otherwise. It maybe only be applied to those who have family in this world, painfully watching their loved ones die of old age. But for him with no attachments yet, his view is different. Specially in this kind of fucked up world where you can die on a whim. As for a future lover who will be with him forever, he didn't want to worry about it for now. He wanted to leave that problem for his future self. There are many ways to be an immortal in this world anyway.
In these three weeks that he stayed with John and Elle, Glenn was able to improve his mastery of the Six form style. His most proficient skill is Soru followed by, Shigan, Kami-e. As for Geppo, Tekkai and Rankyaku, due to his current environment, he hasn't been able to practice like the first three, though he can still execute them just fine. It would be weird if Elle suddenly went home and saw Glenn kicking the air and float. That would be akward and it might bring trouble for the two.
One day when Glenn went to deliver an order outside and came back, he saw some mean looking guys talking to John. He saw John took some cash from his pocket and gave it to them. Then the group of guys left laughing like nothing happened.
Glenn went to uncle John and asked, "What was that, uncle? Are you alright? Did they make trouble?"
"It's nothing. Just some gangs who ruled this area. Don't do anything stupid with them. As long as you pay, they will let you be."
"I see, don't worry uncle. I'm a cowardly person and I don't want to be a hero. Just curious though, is their area of business big?"
"Yeah, I heard they rule the whole Korea town."
"I see, then that means every shop has to pay some 'protection fee' right? Damn they must have a lot of money."
"Now that you think about it, they must've amass a lot of money. Anyway, that's not our concern anymore." uncle John said as he walk back towards the kitchen.
But he failed to notice that Glenn is still looking at the group of thugs walking away and he is smiling devilishly. His eyes we're radiating dollar signs.

That night, Glenn was wearing a hoodie and told John that he would be going out for a 'part-time job' and he would be back really late. Without question, John gave Glenn a key to the house in case he came back late and he wasn't awake yet.
Covering his head with his hoodie and wearing his face mask that covers his nose and mouth, he proceeded to roam the streets and his target where the secluded places of the city.
Spotting a group of three who was mugging a midde-age man, Glenn quickly took action regardless if they are armed with a knife or gun.
He quickly executed Soru to get behind the three while the middle-age man screamed as if he saw a ghost. He ran away with all his might not bothering to warn the three thugs.
With a quick roundhouse kicks, he incapacitated the three and began to question the leader.
"Who are you!? How dare you make a move on us! You are dead, man hahahah!"
"Why? Because you are part of the gang who manages korea town?"
"Yes! Yes! If I were you, I would leave the town right now. Or else, no matter where you go we will find you and make you pay."
"Perfect! Hahahahaha!"
"Yes you bett-- wait what?!"
"It's perfect because I'm looking for you. Imagine it would take the whole night if I didn't see you." Glenn beamed joyfully.
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
"Okay, here's the deal. Shit, I sound like that playboy. Ahem! Okay, I have a proposal. Let's say I won't hit you too hard and all you have to do is guide me to the location of your base. You know, where they sent the money collected from the shops?"
"I won't say any—"

Glenn interrupted his villain speech with a slap not wasting any timtine.
"I—"

"Tell me!!!" Glenn shouted in hoarse Batman voice.
"Boohoo~ I was going to tell you man but you keep on slapping me, Boohoo~"
"You should've say that sooner, oh my shhhhh don't cry anymore or I'll slap you again."
"Hrghhhh"
"Why's your face so crunched up?"
"So-sorry, it's hard to suddenly stop crying. It hurts my lungs."
"Okay now, stop whining and tell me the information I want to know."
