After the confrontation with his father, Shisui returned to Hanagakure with a decision heavy in his chest:
He would no longer be a pawn in anyone's game—not his father's, not the Council's.
But to defy a Daimyō meant walking a dangerous path.
One wrong move, and everything he cared about—Naoko, Himeya, his team—could be at risk.
That night, Shisui sat with Naoko and Kaien inside the study of his mansion.
"I need your help," Shisui began, his voice firm. "I'm going to build something… outside the system."
Kaien blinked. "You mean… a separate force?"
"Not to oppose the Land of Flowers," Shisui clarified. "But to protect it. From the shadows controlling it."
Naoko, arms folded, looked between them. "A resistance."
Shisui nodded. "A silent rebellion. One that watches, protects, and uncovers the truth. We'll act when the village can't. Or won't."
He unrolled a small map of the region. On it, he marked key locations: abandoned outposts, forgotten watchtowers, and safe zones within the village.
"We start small. Information first. Allies second. Power last."
Kaien grinned. "You've really stepped into your role as a leader, haven't you?"
Naoko leaned in close. "Then we'll be your blades in the dark, Shisui. Just don't lose yourself."
He met her gaze, hand resting gently atop hers. "Not with you here."
