6. Leicester City vs Watford
This match proved to be unbeatable — it was Leicester City's first big step forward! Kevin was a nightmare for Watford throughout the game!
In the 15th minute, Kevin scored a goal from a free kick, prompting Leicester City supporters to cheer: "Kevin~! Kevin~!" The young man, full of spirit, aimed to become the league's top scorer. He attacked fearlessly, and even when he failed, he kept trying again and again, supported by his teammates.
The Watford coach had a headache trying to stop Kevin from running wild on the pitch: "Press him! Don't let him guess! Tackle him! Slide!"
Rob Kelly sat relaxed, chewing gum. He looked just like Alex Ferguson. He was truly living a dream!
Commentator: "Wow, Rob Kelly must be really happy, sitting there so relaxed, chatting with his assistant coach! What a difference from last year!"
Kevin was clearly the standout on the field. His skill level felt far above this league! Every time he dribbled, he could get past two or three opponents and send a cross that was met with a header. Even when the header didn't result in a goal, his actions terrified the opposing team.
In the 34th minute, Kevin called for the ball. As soon as he received the pass, he dribbled just outside the penalty box, then without hesitation unleashed a powerful shot — and scored!
Commentator: "Incredible, Kevin! A second goal for Leicester! The score is 2–0, and Watford is struggling to fight back!"
Among the spectators was a scout from Arsenal. He took notes and recorded everything happening in the match, confident that Arsène Wenger would definitely be interested in Kevin Kraut.
Scout: (Genius! This kid is truly gifted.)
At halftime, all the teammates were confident about winning. Even though some secretly felt a hint of envy, they were still proud of Kevin. His presence made the match against Watford feel easier.
Rob Kelly: "Keep up the play! If you see an opening, pass the ball straight to Kevin. Andy, keep supporting Kevin!"
Andy King: "Yes, boss! That's easy for me!"
Kevin was tightly marked, but this actually benefited Leicester City, who launched wave after wave of attacks. The opponent's defense wasn't easy to break, requiring time and patience. But when the ball bounced and accidentally landed right in front of Kevin, he wasted no time — charging into the penalty area and blasting the ball with all his might!
Commentator: "Gooal!!! Gooooal! Kevin again! Player number 32, Kevin Kraut, scores another goal for Leicester City! Kevin Kraut! A hat-trick! 3 goals~~"
Leicester City made a substitution, taking Kevin off the field to thunderous applause from the cheering fans, while the match continued with a 3–0 score nearing the final whistle.
At the press conference, Kevin was present with his coach. Kevin said, "If you're asking whether I'm happy — of course! How could I not be? Leicester City won!"
A journalist then asked, "You seem very excited. Don't you think you're becoming overconfident? This is only your second match."
Rob Kelly immediately replied, "Please don't speak like that to our young man. It's natural for him to feel this way!"
Reporters then turned to Watford's coach, Aidy Boothroyd, for an interview.
Aidy Boothroyd said: "I admit, at first I thought pressing Kevin would make things easier for us, but it turns out he has many ways to get through. He's not selfish as an individual. Leicester City is very lucky to have a footballer like Kevin Kraut. I'm a little jealous, honestly."
