Arthur took his wife to their palace , the moment he enters his chamber he ordered the buttler to bring the physician as soon as possible. All the maids and servants were clueless but they followed their lord's order anyways...
'Mark benton ' the royal physican came running, he take a glance in the chamber of the duke who was seating still on the floor holding his wife's hand, who was laid carefully on the big round bed , there was not even a single noice of anything but his lord's unrhtymic breath and tears in that enormous royal chamber. Mark enters the room and greet the grand duke and begin to check up the lady on the bed as soon as he checked her nerve, he realised that she was long gone but he couldn't mutter up courage to say it out loud to his lord.
On the other hand Arthur was looking at vivian as he still believes that she will wake up any moment, he asked mark " why are you not doing anything, treat my wife, do something she must be in lots of pain" but mark remain silent.
Anger filled Arthur's watery eyes " I'm asking you something "she shouted.
Mark lowered his head and told his master in a low apologistic tone that the lady is no more .
Arthur was devasted but deep down he already knew that very well but he just don't wanted to accept it. After hearing mark's words he said in a trembling voice " no...no you are lying,my wife she is healthy she is all good she will wake up, i have to apologise to her i have to treat her well...no please "and fell on the floor all shattered with a blank expression.
Mark came out of the room with tears in his eyes informing the buttler to prepare for the funeral.
After a while the buttler enters the chamber and told his lord that preparations for the funeral are done but Arthur didn't even flinch a little ,he was still looking at vivian blankly.
Seeing his master in such state the buttler couldn't do anything about it , he couldn't even utter any sympathies to him.
He left the chamber and ordered the maids to help the lady and a knight to took her to the chapel after that. The maids completed their duty and so the knight rose up the lady in his arms but suddenly Arthur grabbed his hands " where are you taking my wife ,how dare you touch her" " leave her" . Seeing that the other knights stopped their master and told the knight to took the lady , Arthur keep on shouting but the maids and the knights realised their master have lost his senses and keep on holding him still.
Arthur run towards the chapel and sat done near the coffin looking at his wife and talking to vivian as she was still alive ," he has gone mad" said one of the servent as they completed their duties and left.
Many novels were informed of the devasting news including vivian's father "COUNT LUTHER NORSEN" after a while many novels started to gather for the funeral but none of them in the sight from the NORSEN county .
People starting talking about it and the state of the duke but Arthur cared less as his wife was still alive for him.
The final rituals completed and eveyone left the palace but the grand duke was still seating besides the grave .
Couldn't able to keep looking at him the buttler took his master to his chamber forcefully...
For 3 days Arthur didn't ate anything or utter a single word he stays still on the floor drinking all the day long in his chamber when a servent abdructly enters his room holding a legal notice in his hands that says.....
