Lady Min Hae-ryung – 22
The elegant and sharp-tongued wife of Yeong-won. Ambitious and calculating beneath her refined demeanor. She carefully observes the shifting dynamics in the palace and sees Seo Yul's presence as either a risk or a stepping stone to power.
Queen Dowager – 50s
The king's mother and former queen. Graceful, stern, and deeply political. Believes in strength above sentiment. While she supports her son's reign, she questions his decision to bring the enemy prince into their home. She keeps her opinions hidden behind etiquette and silence.
