Gathering the Team.
Cleo knows she can't solve this mystery all by herself - not when the hoodie is real evidence and no one's talking about it. She makes a catalog of the few people who might offer a helping hand..,even if it means teaming up with people she doesn't trust.
Foremost, she visits Richard- the quiet tech guy who spends more time coding in the library than conversing with anyone. He offers to help, not for Tilly, but because he's curious and secretly bored of being ignored.
Next is Eva, a perfect - prefect type who was once close with Tilly. Cleo catches her outside the staff club and shows her the hoodie. Eva's face changes- not fear, but something like guilt. She joins the team but cautions: "If we're going to do this, it can't come back to me."
Finally, Cleo meets Mike, her ex and Tilly's old friend, behind the science block. Their conversation is tense, full of old tension and new suspicion. He teases her initially, but when he sees the pin on the hoodie, the joke disappears.
"I'm in," he says, "but don't expect me to play nice."
