"Well, let me introduce myself, I'm Rentoki!" -confessed the small being with pale skin, white horns and rounded shape who introduces himself as if he were a celebrity.
And this grumpy guy you see here is Touma!
Referring to the other dark-skinned, close-eyed creature who doesn't even bother to show his displeasure.
"Wow.... .where.... Where are Helios Klent and the others...is this all a dream?".
I ask looking around me no corpses no that huge beast no trace of anything not even my wounds , But quickly my eyes turned to that little white skinned being who laughs softly.
"No, it's not a dream, the others that accompanied you are dead we just had to eat their vital cores" the words that little creature releases while smiling make me too uncomfortable.
"What?" .... Then why would it be alive? It doesn't make sense."
I stand up despite feeling weak and sore to check again that I have my arm with me.
"Ugh, same thing!" he asked me, Rentoki!
growled that little dark being called Touma with his angry glare at the other little being.
"You yourself know why I saved him Touma. He can help us find out the truth," Rentoki said turning his gaze towards me, his bulging eyes glowing.
"Find out the truth? What the fuck are you talking about? What the fuck is this?" my head is full of questions and none with answers, my eyes watch those beings and I frown.
"If it's true what they said.... Why did they eat my friend and the rest, what are they and what do they want."
He said without hesitation demanding an answer to the confusion so big he smiled.
"Let me explain" Rentoki said patting his little hands.
"We had to eat your mates because we needed to supply our vitality plus they were already dead.... And well regarding me and my partner, we are Rentoki and Touma we don't remember anything of our past only some small fragments.
We know that we are someone important and that we were killed but we don't remember anything else".
I analyze Rentoki's word but it only confuses me more, did they have to eat the vitality of Helios for....?
What importance can such small and even adorable creatures have.

"Friend? Hahahahahahahahahaha you mean Touma? She's not a girl" the revelation makes me snap out of it pus that little dark being looks feminine.

"But we have no gender, we can't remember what we are. But we know that Touma and I are one and we have no gender even though he looks female and I look male in reality we are neither."
I manage to understand what he is getting at then I look around, I want to get out of that place go home see my sister and wake up from this nightmare.

Hearing my name I suddenly turn to Rentoki in surprise and disbelief.

Rentoki laughs and looks at me with a wide grin.

Rentoki laughs and looks at me with a wide grin.

I stand in silence not knowing what to answer, help the things that have eaten my friend and the others? How will I know they won't kill me too.
That dark skinned being clicks his tongue and turns to me angrily.
"We don't have all fucking day to wait for your opinion human, accept our requests..".
After hearing their complaint I knew they are desperate for my help, but would it be fair?
"It's okay.... I will help them although I don't promise to be of much help I don't even have nuclear power."
Rentoki upon hearing my positive response clapped his hands and smiled broadly.
"Don't worry it won't take that thing" I stood still as I watched the two beings floating one on either side of my head both waved their little hands and in front of me strange lines and strange codes appeared as if they were geroglyphics.
"What.... What is this?" I ask both of them without understanding anything about those things floating in front of me.
"Oh, sorry apparently you don't understand our system" Touma grunted and with a wave of his little hand changed those strange lines and codes to what looked like a video game pop-up window.

Reading the little window I swallow my breath, I don't know if I'm selling my soul to the devil or if it's something that will help me, but if it will get me out of this place it will be a relief, I raise my hand touching my finger to the (Yes).
Immediately the window disappears and Rentoki and Touma's glowing bodies release some lights heading towards me going deep into my body is something that makes me feel intense heat.
"Agh! What is this..." When the light disappears I look at myself I feel different stronger, healthier and with much more energy.
"Yes Touma we are intangible again!".
I shout Rentoki with joy but Touma remains silent without doing or saying anything.
A new window appears in front of me.

"Hmm and all this?" I look at the window curious I've never seen anything like it.

Does everyone have one of these windows? .... Wow what a wimp I must have been to not have something as simple as this, makes me feel like I'm not even worth it.
Rentoki's voice "Well now Touma and I are stuck with you Ban, what do you say we get out of this place?
I nod my head and start walking down the path the group and I had entered earlier, what will I say now, the guild Klent and the others belonged to will surely investigate their disappearances?
Will they think I'm the murderer, what will I have to do if at some point the company is looking for me as the one responsible for this?
Touma's voice "Can't you go any faster? You're too slow.
"Sorry, I'm thinking about some things....And what is that thing that pops up in that window that says tools?".
Rentoki's voice "well those are our tools, the ones we have to look for".

Rentoki's chuckle echoes in my head which makes me smile too.
Rentoki's voice "Yeah.. but I think you'll like to try it when you get out of here we don't want you to get in trouble with others of your kind do we?"
I nod my head and keep walking this is something I didn't plan on at all, it's such a strange thing now I'm bonded with 2 creatures that will give me their power....
