When K Corp designed this card, they maliciously excluded the "Blue-Eyes" tag, leading many players to dismiss it entirely. Even in the year 5025, releasing support cards without archetype tagging was seen as outright trolling.
Still, Li Yuu summoned it anyway.
Partly because the card existed, and he owned it—if he didn't summon it now, wouldn't that be a waste?
But more importantly, he wanted to stir some mystery about his identity. Keep people guessing. A little ambiguity would go a long way in keeping opponents off-balance.
And so, the gleaming Blue-Eyes Silver Dragon appeared, radiating a crushing pressure with its 4000 ATK.
"Dude, is he really a rookie?! Why does it feel like he's tossing out UR cards like candy?!"
"Where is he even pulling these from?! Different summoning methods, different monsters—this really the same 'Blue-Eyes' from my childhood?!"

Mars knew he had to strike back.
He revealed a card from his graveyard. "In response, I activate the third effect of 'Flame-Forged Empress'—I target both your 'Blue-Eyes Silver Dragon' and my 'Salamangreat Heatleo' for destruction!"
Li Yuu smirked. "A graveyard-triggered trap, huh? So this is your final gambit? Unfortunately—that won't work on me!"
"When a card's effect activates from the graveyard, my 'Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon' can chain to negate it!"
Mars's face turned ashen. "What?! You even prepared for graveyard effects?!"
This was his secret trump—'Flame-Forged Empress's hidden grave effect. Not only could it destroy monsters on both sides, it would also Special Summon itself afterward.
Then, it could trigger a second effect from another copy of Salamangreat Heatleo in the grave: when a FIRE monster you control is destroyed, it revives with its ATK increased by the destroyed monster's ATK.
The result? A 2700 ATK Empress, alongside a 5600 ATK Heatleo on Mars's field.
It would have flipped the duel completely.

Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon obliterated the entire setup.
Mars was shaken. Never before had he felt such despair in a duel.

He clenched his cards so hard his knuckles turned white.
