Chapter 1 - Teenage Menaces (bodmaish polapain)

Season 1, episode one:

The Beginning of Mischief

The sun rose slowly over the busy streets of Dhaka, casting warm golden hues over Sonargaon College, a place known not just for education but for the chaos stirred up by its most infamous students—the Bodmaish Polapain. These four boys were notorious troublemakers, and their day was about to unfold with the usual dose of fun, mischief, and brotherhood.

Prottoy Girringi, nicknamed Girringi for his sharp tongue and cunning plans, led the gang. His eyes gleamed excitedly as he perched on the college courtyard bench, casually flipping a cigarette between his fingers. Nearby, Montu Biri, known as Biri for his gentle and innocent demeanor, nervously adjusted his glasses, clutching a worn-out textbook. Shekhor Gauwra, called Gauwra because of his tough stature and fearless attitude, paced restlessly, cracking his knuckles as if ready to face any challenge head-on. Lastly, Raju Chumma, dubbed Chumma due to his cool demeanor and flashy style, lounged lazily against a wall, sunglasses hiding his sharp eyes.

"Alright, boys," Prottoy began with a smirk, "today, we're not just going to create chaos—we're going to make history."

Montu gave a worried glance, "Girringi, please don't drag me into your madness. I have enough trouble with my grades."

Shekhor laughed loudly, "Biri, relax! It's not like we're going to study."

Raju flicked his cigarette away, "Let's hear the plan then. What's the mission, boss?"

Prottoy grinned. "There's this new professor—strict, boring, and worst of all, hates us already. Today, we'll teach him that Bodmaish Polapain are not just mischief-makers; we're survivors."

The bell rang, signaling the start of classes. Prottoy led the group towards their classroom, plotting mischief in his mind. Their classmates looked on with a mixture of awe and exasperation.

Inside the classroom, the professor started writing complex formulas on the blackboard. Prottoy exchanged mischievous glances with Shekhor and Raju.

"Now," Prottoy whispered, "operation 'Distraction' begins."

As the professor turned to write, Prottoy flicked a paper airplane toward Shekhor, who caught it with exaggerated flair. Montu tried to shush them, but his voice was drowned by the laughter erupting around.

Suddenly, Raju's phone buzzed loudly, playing a Bollywood song, causing the professor to spin around, eyes blazing. Prottoy quickly stood up, "Sorry, sir, my phone slipped."

The professor narrowed his eyes but continued. However, the gang had already succeeded in breaking the monotony, their rebellious energy filling the room.

After class, the four regrouped outside, laughing and sharing stories. Montu, though timid, smiled widely, his friendship with the boys giving him courage.

Shekhor said, "We may be troublemakers, but we've got each other's backs."

Raju nodded, "True. No matter what happens, Bodmaish Polapain stick together."

Prottoy's eyes softened. "Exactly. And one day, we'll prove that troublemakers can rule the world."

The afternoon saw the gang at the college rooftop, their usual hangout. The city buzzed beneath them, but here, they were kings.

Montu took out his notebook and hesitated. "Guys, I know I'm not as loud or tough as you, but… thanks for accepting me."

Shekhor punched him lightly on the shoulder. "You're part of this gang, Biri. That's all that matters."

Raju raised a bottle of soda. "To friendship. The only thing stronger than any trouble we cause."

Prottoy looked at his friends, a rare smile breaking across his face. "Bodmaish Polapain — not just a gang, but a family."

The boys sat quietly as the sun set behind the city skyline, knowing this was just the beginning. Their adventures would grow wilder, their bonds stronger, and their stories legendary.

 Episode 2

The Great Prank War

The morning sun barely crept through the dusty windows of Sonargaon College, but the energy inside was electric. After their chaotic first day, the Bodmaish Polapain were already plotting their next big move.

Prottoy Giringi paced excitedly in their usual corner, a wicked grin spreading across his face."Alright, team. It's time for our next masterpiece—a prank so epic, it'll echo through the halls for years."

Biri swallowed nervously, "I'm not so sure about this, Ghauro… What if we get caught again?"

Shekhor Ghaura cracked his knuckles. "Let them try. Nobody messes with Bodmaish Polapain and gets away clean."

Raju Chumma, ever the smooth talker, pulled out his phone. "I've been watching prank videos. We need something creative, not just the usual water buckets or stink bombs."

Prottoy nodded. "Good. Ideas?"

The boys burst into brainstorming mode. Prottoy suggested switching the chalk with colored crayons. Shekhor proposed hiding the principal's shoes. Raju wanted to rig the bell to play silly tunes. Biri, hesitant but wanting to fit in, quietly suggested a harmless but funny twist—replacing all the classroom clocks with watches set five minutes fast, to confuse everyone.

Class time rolled around and the Bodmaish Polapain executed their plan flawlessly. Colored crayons replaced the white chalk on the board, creating rainbow-colored equations that bewildered the teachers. The principal's shoes vanished for a whole period, leading to a frantic search and a lot of laughter from the students. The bell played the tune of a popular folk song instead of the usual sharp ring, prompting everyone to dance for a moment. But the masterpiece was the clock prank. Every watch was fast by five minutes. Students rushed to classes, teachers lost track of time, and chaos reigned.

The principal was furious, but the boys had vanished like ghosts, their laughter echoing as they celebrated on the rooftop.

Later that day, Biri confided in Prottoy, "I never thought pranking could be this fun."Prottoy smiled. "It's not just about the pranks, Ghauro. It's about us — our bond. Together, we're unstoppable."Shekhor raised a fist. "Next time, bigger and better."Raju winked. "Bodmaish Polapain forever."

 Episode 3

– The Unexpected Hero

The third day dawned with a twist. The college announced an upcoming sports competition. The Bodmaish Polapain weren't exactly athletic, but when Prottoy Giringi heard about the prize money—a tempting sum—they knew they had to participate.

"Sports day? More like a trap," Biri muttered. "We're not exactly Usain Bolt."

Shekhor Ghaura looked worried. "What if we embarrass ourselves?"

Raju Chumma shrugged, "It's not about winning. It's about showing we can."

Prottoy, ever the strategist, decided to sign them up for the relay race. "We may not be fastest, but we'll work as a team."

Training was brutal. Biri tried sprinting but got tired after ten steps. Shekhor tripped over his own feet. Raju was decent but not fast enough.

Prottoy encouraged them every step, "Focus, guys! It's not just speed, it's about timing and trust."

The day of the competition arrived. The stadium was packed. The crowd roared as teams lined up.

The relay race started. The first two teams sprinted ahead, but the Bodmaish Polapain kept their rhythm, passing the baton with perfect timing despite being slower.

In the final lap, Raju tripped, almost dropping the baton. The crowd gasped. But Biri dove and caught it mid-air, rising to his feet with determination.

With a last burst of energy, Prottoy took the baton and crossed the finish line—third place.

Though they didn't win gold, the crowd cheered wildly for the underdogs. The Bodmaish Polapain had earned respect, not just for their effort but for their spirit.

Shekhor beamed, "We did it! I'm proud of us."

Prottoy clapped him on the back. "See? Sometimes, being a Bodmaish means being a hero in your own way."

Biri grinned. "Next time, we train harder."

Raju smiled, "And maybe bribe the referee."

The friends laughed, ready for whatever adventure came next.

 Episode 4

– The Classroom Coup

The morning fog was still settling over Sonargaon College when the Bodmaish Polapain strolled in, already cooking up their next big plan. After their heroic (and hilarious) sports day, the gang wanted to make sure their legend lived on.

Prottoy Giringi grinned, eyes sparkling."Guys, I'm tired of the teachers bossing us around. Time to take control."

Biri blinked, "Take control? Like… start our own government?"

Shekhor Ghaura cracked his knuckles with a smirk."Why not? We've already conquered sports and pranks. Why not rule the classroom?"

Raju Chumma adjusted his sunglasses."It's either that, or study harder."

Prottoy chuckled."No way, Chuma. Today, we stage a coup — The Classroom Coup."

The bell rang and the gang slipped into their classroom, carrying a few hastily made "campaign posters" featuring caricatures of themselves.

Prottoy climbed onto a desk like a politician taking the podium."People of class 12B, it's time for a change. Tired of boring lectures? Fed up with impossible homework?"

Biri nervously added,"And don't forget the pop quizzes."

Shekhor slammed his fist on the table."We propose freedom — freedom from homework, freedom to eat snacks in class, and freedom to nap during lectures."

Raju smiled slyly."Also, a monthly 'Bodmaish day' — where we run the school for a day."

To their surprise, classmates cheered wildly, rallying behind the idea. Even the quietest students nodded in agreement.

But the teachers? Not so much.

The strict math teacher stormed in, eyes blazing."What is this nonsense?"

Prottoy stood firm."A movement, sir. A movement for students' rights."

The math teacher sneered,"You'll be expelled before the week ends."

Instead of backing down, the gang doubled down. They organized "elections" for student leaders, with Prottoy running for president.

Campaign speeches were full of jokes, playful insults, and promises no one really expected to be kept—but it electrified the class.

On election day, Prottoy won by a landslide.

The rest of the week was chaos disguised as 'student governance.' Homework was mysteriously 'forgotten,' teachers were pranked during lectures, and the gang ran the cafeteria like a rebel committee.

Biri, despite his usual anxiety, found himself enjoying the thrill of leadership.Shekhor loved the power to order people around (and occasionally scare the teachers).Raju made sure the snacks kept flowing.

But it wasn't all fun and games. The principal finally caught wind of the 'Classroom Coup' and called the boys to his office.

With a stern face but a hint of a smile, he said,"You four have caused more trouble than any batch before you… but I see something in you. Just don't turn this 'movement' into anarchy."

Prottoy nodded respectfully."Yes, sir. We'll keep it Bodmaish, but not reckless."

Back on the rooftop that evening, the gang laughed about their coup's success.

Biri said softly,"I never thought we'd actually get away with all this."

Prottoy smiled,"That's the magic of being Bodmaish — always pushing limits."

Shekhor cracked his neck,"Next time, let's aim for the entire school."

Raju laughed,"One step at a time, Biri."
