Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Prison Life

Since he was now Yao Ziyang, and there was really no way of going back, even if he wanted to, he shall now live on as Yao Ziyang and take on all of his sins and do his best to make amends to those the original has wronged!

First things first, he needed to write down what he most remembers about the novel while it's still fresh in his mind. Thinking about it carefully, perhaps knowing how the story ends may be his golden finger and the Gods weren't sadistic assholes after all!

Looking around the room, Yao Ziyang realizes why there wasn't much mention about his accommodations. The room was utterly barren with only a toilet by the corner, barely hidden behind a half wall and not far from it was a slab of steel sticking out of the wall. Judging by the plastic stool underneath the steel and given its low height, Yao Ziyang concluded that it must be his "desk".

Heaving a sigh, Yao Ziyang attempts to get up from the bed when a jolt of sharp pain shoots from his lower back straight along his spine towards his brain. Immediately he falls back onto the metal bed with a yelp. The padding used as a mattress was so worn, he was able to feel the cold from the metal frame seep into his body, ruthlessly stealing away any sense of heat from him.

Forget writing, he could barely move! Well, whatever. Even if he wrote it down, it'd only become a risk to his safety if someone other than himself read it! Others might think he's crazy and lock him up in a mental hospital! Besides, it's not like he could forget the contents of the novel, it was deeply ingrained into his mind, still giving him a headache as to how it ended.

Still, none of this was mentioned in the novel! Just how much suffering was he going to have to endure? Thinking back, it was only mentioned that the original Yao Ziyang spent a few months in prison pleasing Dong Yingming after giving his first time to him before finally being released. Before that, he had spent roughly 3 years here…huh? That's odd. He couldn't remember a single moment of his time here.

No.

He couldn't remember anything before transmigrating at all! He didn't have any of the original Yao Ziyang's memories at all!? Something isn't right! Isn't that supposed to be a staple in these transmigrating stories? How can this be?!

one emotionally mental panic attack later

After taking a moment to calm down, Yao Ziyang quickly thought of countermeasures. Maybe he can force an "accident" to occur during a fight with the other inmates and "conveniently get amnesia". That could work!...or get him killed.

Even though the original Yao Ziyang only committed a business crime, he should have been placed into the Third Prison, but because it was full, he was placed into First Prison instead. Here, the prisoners were far more deathly, having committed all kinds of heinous crimes such as murder, arson and other major felonies!

The original Yao Ziyang could hold his own against these criminals, but it was stated he was often left seriously injured yet remained undefiled. He struggled like that every day for years, until finally he became so desperate to survive that he gave his first time to the boss of this prison, aka Dong Yingming.

So, while fighting was out of the question for now, this plan can be used as a last resort. Right now, Yao Ziyang's biggest concern was if the original Yao Ziyang had told Dong Yingming about "his" plans for revenge yet or not. If so, things could get way more complicated than necessary.

Doing his best to recall this point in the story, Yao Ziyang knows for a fact that this was his first time with Dong Yingming. So there's a high likelihood that Dong Yingming doesn't know anything other than the fact he's a Yao family member and he's in prison for embezzling company funds. At least, that's what he hopes.

Sighing for what seems like the 100th time, Yao Ziyang decides to leave today's matters behind and get some well needed rest. Now that he has Dong Yingming as a backer, prison life shouldn't be all that bad anymore. That much he can be sure of.

At least that's what it should've felt like! It had only been a few hours since he closed his eyes and yet he was already awakened by the freezing temperature and the sticky sweat on his body.

Somehow, his weak immune system had followed him into this body when he transmigrated! His first day as a transmigrator and not only did he miss the hot and spicy sex scene but he also got a cold! Just how weak is this pampered young master's body!

There was no one in his prison cell he could ask for help from and even if he could, his throat felt like sandpaper. He was unable to make even a single noise to the guards that were right outside! Left with no other choice, he lays pitifully in his metal coffin, clutching his thin coarse blanket in a vain attempt to keep warm.

In the past, whenever he got sick he would just sleep it off for a few days and afterward he'd be right as rain albeit a bit weak. The issue with doing that this time was how long it would take to recover and right now he needed to focus on pleasing Dong Yingming and getting out of this prison as soon as possible!

"Achoo!"

'Okay, screw this. I'm just gonna lie here and accept my fate. This is where I die! At least…I got to see Dong Yingming's dick…I couldn't ask for more except…sex…'

With that last thought, Yao Ziyang passed out.

It wasn't until the late afternoon, the next day that there was movement outside his metal cell door.

Dong Yingming figured Yao Ziyang recovered long enough to go for another round. After all, he knew Yao Ziyang wanted something from him, so it was only right to make Yao Ziyang work hard for his reward. There was just no way a once proud and straight elite like Yao Ziyang would offer himself up on a silver platter unless he desperately needed something from him.

After confirming with the guards he had set outside by the door that nobody had entered or left Yao Ziyang's cell, he entered. As he pushes the metal steel open, its hinges creaked unnervingly.

The sly smile he wore was quickly erased as soon as he entered and saw the man huddled up in his bed, trembling like a leaf. In quick strides, he made his way to Yao Ziyang and placed his large, rough hand on the smaller man's forehead.

It's as he thought, a fever and a very high one at that!

'Sigh seriously, you're more trouble than you're worth.'

Dong Yingming felt a bit stuffy in his chest. He was mad but he couldn't tell why or at who. At Yao Ziyang for getting sick? That seemed unreasonable even for him. The guards for not checking in on him? Who knows how long Yao Ziyang was like this!

"Mm? B-Brother…Dong-coughcough!...water…"

Yao Ziyang was extremely weak at this point. His voice was barely audible, even Dong Yingming who was hovering over him could barely hear his words! If he hadn't come by when he did, Yao Ziyang probably wouldn't have been able to get proper treatment for who knows how long! That would put his own plans into jeopardy!

Suppressing his rising anger, Dong Yingming scoops up Yao Ziyang and rushes towards the door. Knocking on it twice, the moment it cracked open, Dong Yingming kicked it with all his might. The guard who stood behind the door as it was kicked open was knocked back by the impact. A little bit of Dong Yingming's anger seemed to have dissipated when he heard a sickening crack of bones breaking and the familiar scream of pain that followed afterwards.

Without glancing at the fallen guard, Dong Yingming carried Yao Ziyang, still wrapped in his blanket, and headed towards the infirmary. Along the way, Dong Yingming ignored all the looks he was getting. This might be a blessing in disguise, this way news that Yao Ziyang is his man will spread faster throughout the ward.

Now no one will want to mess with him. Getting those few thugs from before to mess with Yao Ziyang so he'd be desperate enough to seek him out himself was well worth the effort and long wait. Even if it meant having to do him a favor, it's well worth it if he can get his hands on the Yao Corporation.
