Another moon... Ep-3
Yamato wakes up on Mount Fuji, disoriented. "How am I here?" he murmurs, then takes in the breathtaking view from the mountain, utterly captivated by its beauty. After a few moments, he spots a girl in the distance, sitting atop a rock.
"Who are you, and why are you here?!" Yamato shouts. She turns, and Yamato, seeing Rin's face, is overcome with emotion. He runs towards her, but suddenly the mountain's edge drops away, and he begins to fall. He jolts awake in his school desk. "Ah, shit! What kind of dream was that, fuck!" he exclaims. It's already break time.
In the canteen, Hajime spots Jun and approaches her. He pulls her aside, then kneels before her, apologizing in front of the entire canteen for his friends' misconduct. Jun tells him, "No problem, Hajime, stand up." She adds, "I've always liked you, so you wouldn't do such things." Hajime starts to cry, then calms down.
Suddenly, Hajime notices a minor fissure in her leg and asks how it happened. She explains it occurred yesterday on Mount Fuji. Just then, Yamato enters the canteen for snacks. He notices Jun and asks about her foot. She assures him she's alright. "Good," he replies, offering her some snacks. "Oh yes, I want some!" she says. He buys her an ice cream and then leaves the canteen.
As he exits, he checks his pocket, realizing it's his last bit of money. He heads back to class to sleep. Hajime warns Jun, "Don't get close to someone who is too caring, okay? He might harm you." She snaps back, "Don't talk shit, Hajime! He won't do such idiotic things, okay?"
School finally ends, and everyone starts to leave. It's raining outside. Yamato has an umbrella. Suddenly, Jun approaches him and asks, "Can you drop me off at my house? I don't have an umbrella." Yamato agrees. From a distance, Hajime watches, thinking, "I could have dropped her home, but she went with him for no reason. Am I that ugly?" he asks himself.
Jun asks Yamato, "Yamato, something happened to you in your past that made you so antisocial, right?" Yamato confirms. Jun says, "I don't want to hear about it, but don't be sad thinking about it. Be happy with the friends you've got. These are friends for life; don't ruin it by yourself."
They arrive at her house. Yamato asks her why she didn't bring an umbrella today. She walks into her room without a response. Yamato sighs and starts to walk away. At that moment, Jun shouts from her room window, "Who said I didn't bring my umbrella? I had one in my backpack!" Yamato blushes angrily and walks away.
Jun thinks he's so mature to handle a girl so gently. She fantasizes about her life with him—traveling with him, sleeping next to him—then suddenly realizes, "Shit, what am I thinking?" and blushes profusely. The next day at school, Hajime and Jun walk together. Yamato approaches and asks Jun, "Did you bring an umbrella today or not?" She replies, "Don't worry, I have an umbrella." Yamato then asks, "Shall we walk to class together?" Jun is shocked and blushes deeply, feeling butterflies in her heart.
Toko sees them together and teases, "Okay, that's it! Something's going on between you two!" Jun quickly denies it, but Yamato stares at Toko with a delighted expression, and Toko suddenly walks away from them.
During the break, Jun wants to talk to Hajime about last night, but Hajime starts ignoring her. Jun is heartbroken. She returns to class, drops her head on the table, and begins crying. Yamato enters, sees Jun crying, and asks her, "Why are you crying? Is it those boys again?" She replies, "No, it's Hajime. He's not talking to me; he's ignoring me." Yamato says, "Oh, that's it? Are you crying because he's not talking? You're so childish." "No!" she insists, "I'm his best friend, and he's ignoring me! I don't know why." Yamato gently pats her head. "Don't worry, he'll be fine," he reassures her. Jun blushes again and now feels better and happier.
At the end of school, Yamato goes to Hajime and asks, "Why are you ignoring Jun?" Hajime starts to cry and says, "You are the reason," then pushes Yamato to the ground and runs away in tears.
Yamato, unfazed, stands up and leaves to do his delivery work. The next day, this incident reaches Jun's ears. She goes to hajime and asks, "Why did you hit him? He was just trying to resolve things, you know." Hajime then says to Jun, "Then don't come to me. Go and stay with your new boyfriend, okay?" Jun slaps him hard. "What the fuck are you talking about?!" she shouts and leaves the classroom. Hajime is embarrassed in front of everyone. Yamato hears this and asks Jun, "Why did you slap him? Are you mad?" She replies, "No, he pushed you to the ground, so I slapped him."
Yamato says, "Don't show more interest and care for me over Hajime, okay?" Jun has already started crying. Yamato comes closer and gently pats Jun's head again. "Don't worry, he'll be normal as the days pass, okay?"
Jun thinks, Yamato, I like you very much, and this is the reason why I like you. You literally helped me to reunite with Hajime, but I love u soo much there is no one who can replace it spot in my heart 💞
